    Foxes in Alaska seem to have longer legs then their Southern cousins. I'm guessing it is an adaptation to the deep snow climate.

    That high pitch sound is on the videos as I can here it on my desktop computer and it's almost painful on some clips. It's on one brand of camera that has the thin info bar at the bottom and it's not on any that have the thick (large text) info bars. About half of this post has it.

    • @TheFront40Alaska
      @TheFront40Alaska  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don’t hear it in the raw video. Only after it’s uploaded. Not everyone hears it. Trying some noise filters on future uploads.

    • @hikerJohn
      @hikerJohn 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheFront40Alaska I wonder if it's so high a pitch that some people might be tone def to it. Reminds me of the fact that there is at least one cricket that I can only here in one ear. Maybe there are some pitches that I cannot hear at all. But maybe some speakers can't reproduce it.as well.

    • @TheFront40Alaska
      @TheFront40Alaska  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you can, please watch my most recent video that I posted last night. (September 04) I put noise filters on those clips. Let me know if you hear any improvement.

    • @hikerJohn
      @hikerJohn 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheFront40Alaska I watched the new one - there was a "hum" at 2:30 that faded away and I would never have noticed it if I was not looking for it since it was low pitched. All the rest was great

    • @TheFront40Alaska
      @TheFront40Alaska  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for the feedback. I now have noise filters put on the clips from those specific cameras. My group of people here don’t hear the sound either so it’s been difficult to try to mitigate it. Browning trail cams did some investigating for me and says it’s an issue with the TH-cam platform and can’t or won’t send me a software upgrade for the cams. Having specific viewer feedback like yours has been a great help.

      We actually have small moments of 90* + days, especially during fire season. More often up in the interior. It’s a horrible heat because there’s no night to cool you down. But most likely the 90* temps on my cameras are because they are sitting in direct sunlight 24 hours a day during the Summer.
