Holy that truck is looking FRESH!! Would love it if you set up a timelapse camera to capture the full process, masking, spraying each coat, removal of masking, touch ups!! Keep up the great vids!
I know I'm not exactly the target audience, but your site is a great source for the aerosols. I got a couple cans of the camo tan and plan to spray a computer case with the color. I also got a can of the bronze gold spray for the can grills and maybe a few of the internals of the case. Everything will then be put back together with copper rivets and brass screws. I hope it will look nice. Just need a day to be able to do it.
Can you make a timelapsed POV video from start to finish. Think it would be dope to get a different perspective. Maybe another camera just timelasped in between coats to see how they dry. Just something different. Would love to see you guys prep and work on something old. Considering plastidipping my 1968 F100!
ILogic 1 yeah but it wasn’t a perfect truck. Bought it for $4,000 mainly cause it already had power steering, disk brakes, and power brakes. Paint is terrible, rusty in the cab corners, bad interior, but it’s a project so ya gotta just work it at it :)
Hey Fonzie, it would be so easy to do a true camouflage dip using the three different camo colors over black with stencils. One color at a time with different leaf and branch stencils, repeat until you've done all three colors - let a little of the black underneath show here and there. I've had this idea for a long time, just never actually tried it on a truck yet.
Meaby u can try an , wagner SF 23 airless (Non aircoat) spray with an heat element on 40 decrease Celsius. 1.1 bar work force with an green 313 long life spray tip. Should do wonders to the naked eye.
One step ahead of you. Like he said in the video, there is a COMPLETE guide on their channel. They use the pre-wash solution and let it sit for 24hrs. Done. It's like anything else, the cleaner the absolute better. There is never a situation in painting/spraying where half cleaned is "good enough" lol. th-cam.com/video/OQHOMHr1TcU/w-d-xo.html
FairlyUnknown Sweet, thanks for the link. I tend to fast forward through most of the intros nowadays since it’s typically the same sort or process every video lol
That looks phenomenal!! It's EXACTLY the look/color I'm after! (But if my car is already gunmetal gray from the factory, do I need the gunmetal base coat?)
If it’s similar to here in the UK, and I understand it correctly, if you’re not “permanently” changing the color of the vehicle, you don’t need to inform the powers that be. As dip and wraps are considered temporary color changes, or even a protective coating, you don’t have to inform anyone. If I’m wrong, someone please correct me.
Perfect I actually wanted to paint my car desert camo, but what's a good Secondary color to add to it? I like the matte grey and black camo job y'all did, that was two tone as well.
I follow your videos quite a while now and love them, but I kinda always wondered how durable is it to dip a car? Especially with an outdoor vehicle like this, where stuff can get pretty dirty and exposed to weather conditions, are these dips made for car wash/pressure wash or only ok with hand wash? How restistant are the colors against sun exposure etc.? I really think about dipping my car, cause the possibilties are literally endless, but I have no garage to park it in, so my car is always out on the street. Would I have to expect to re-dip it after a period of time?
It's super durable when done properly. We pressure wash ours every week, leave them outside in the South FL sun, etc. It's not bulletproof - it can be scratched and damaged with enough force, but that's expected with a non-2K coating. If anything, remember it's protecting your OEM paint the whole time.
Saw you guys picked the XL kit. Did you use all of the gallons in the kit or did you just do 4 coats? Kind of confusing when you tell people to use all of the gallons then you state you got full coverage in just 4 coats.
We used all of the gallons in the kit. Just keep spraying until you're out of product, the amount of coats will vary person to person depending on how wet you spray.
I’m going to paint my car, it’s a 2002 Kia Rio, and I would like to know how many gallons of paint do I need. Is it ok with one gallon or do I need more?
Would you rock Camo Tan on your vehicle?
I would spray that color on my jeep
Looks better than I thought it would honestly.
Hell yeah i would
Absolutely
Looks an amazing colour, would totally rock that on an SUV or truck 👍

Now all you need is some tint and a black tip exhaust!!! 😎
And some blacked out tail lights

I will never understand how you always, so perfectly, mask these vehicles off. Awesome work, every time.
Jeffrey Carter time and patience
Yes! Toyota does the Tacoma in this tan on black combo and it looks badass, I like the way this came out.
I would love to see bigger vehicles like this or maybe a van of some kind.
Need more truck vids!!!

Howd it turn out
That tan with black accents is SICK AS HELL! Loving it.
Love it. Clean and soft. No BS. 10/10

iMachacker wow you have a F100
ILogic 1 yeah bought it about a year ago. Slowing tinkering with it. Thinking it’s time to prime and dip 👀
iMachacker how much did cost, was it cheap?

That...is...SOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!
That looks great, but how well does it hold up to driving through the woods and branches touching it when going camping, fishing, etc?
Right?!!!
Wait...a TRUCK??????
FINALLY!!!!
Wow! How nice that thing, paint sprayer for the car, that great sir!😍
A set of power folding steps would really tighten that look up.
I'm glad to see someone else needs a stepstool to get the hood and roof.
Right, I usually need one to clean my entire windshield or hood.
Awesome! More Trucks
Yesssss. I did my jeep in this first and loved it.
How does it hold up to branches scratching the sides? Or is it a mall crawler?
@@andrewk8636 I have not taken mine offroad but any protection is better than hitting the paint directly. LOL.
Looks awesome with the black. 👍👍
I got really happy when i seen it was a RAM getting dipped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My favorite color, very versatile
Finally a truck! Even better that I own a RAM also
One hell of a bad ass paint...sweet color! Jus makes everything POP...😎👍
THANK YOU! Love the tag team box and ladder placement! You guys should do a OEM color match challenges.

They've done similar things with their urban camo designs in the past

Man that turned out awesome!!
Can y’all do a video on what prep needs to happen before you spray?
I’m curious how rigorously the surface needs to be cleaned

DAMN! That looks good. I just ordered some gallons of Motor Oil for my Tacoma, but wish I had gone with this. Love the natural tone of it.
Me too! I'm spraying my wrangler this weekend!
Looks similar to the colour available on the 3rd gen tacomas. I think it looks good but I like their cement gray option better.
Can't wait to dip my pathfinder nice color
Thinking about doing this with my 09 Tacoma
CONGRATTS 700K SUBS
Nice color!!!
Very nice, more gentle
Great color 👏👏
Looking great
Dang this looks good!
Yesss very nice. Perfect fishing truck
Wow it looks amazing 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks definitely fire!
Looks good.
Now I want to paint my Dodge 2500 desert tan !!!
That look really cool
Looks awesome 🤙
I was waiting to see how you sprayed the top....
Same
Damn Fonz, that looks sick!!!
Looks awesome! How long did it take to mask everything off? That itself looks like an all day job.
If you have lots of practice it doesnt take as long, still takes time to do it right.
I need this with metallic brown gloss wheels
I really wanted to see how he does the roof, only part not shown haha. Use the link below the video though, very helpful
I like it! I wonder what camo tan would look like with some black Pearl?
Iwan that color
Have you done any pearls or anything over this color?
How long does a dip paint job last and can you wash it at a car wash with a pressure gun?
I would actually like to see a proper full leafy grass camo pattern
Gotta tint it
OD green next?
Lookin cool ...more more
why gun metal grey first?
nice truck but I wonder about the trick with the door handles ???
Woah looks awesome sweet 🤩🥳
I love it 😍 it I'll look sweet on my lifted Silverado
Even though the camo tan looks sick I’m feeling the gun metal gray too. Was that strictly a base or just previous paint job?
Its look awesome if the color is glossy
So add glossifier
Would this be considered a medium or a large car ??
That looks phenomenal!! It's EXACTLY the look/color I'm after! (But if my car is already gunmetal gray from the factory, do I need the gunmetal base coat?)
Is this color available in Canada ??
That color would look sick with a fine pearl or metallic in it on that vehicle
That's dope
It’s nice and I like it. But if you’re going to be pulling a Bass Boat don’t you think you wanna put some pearls on it and make it sparkle?
Dip the bass boat
Is dipping your car cheaper than a paint job or wrapping
If you do it yourself you will save thousands.
Can u just open up a shop and I can just bring my car to get dipped thanks
ALL FUTURE mad scientist dips go on the truck...
lol issa little baby ram 🐏
Fill any did a truck 👍, but with the most seen color on 4x4s. Let see some color shifts on a truck.
I want to do my Jeep Wrangler. I live in NYC can you recommend a shop?
you change the color of your cars a lot how do you deal with the registration? you go and change the color on the registration each time?

Will this peel off later on to do another color?
Ok my question is. I would be spraying my truck which is white gloss. Will the spray stay on the good surface?? And which color would pop the most??
How many psi does the air compressor has to be , for better results? Or it doesn’t matter
How long does it dipped job Usually last
Perfect I actually wanted to paint my car desert camo, but what's a good Secondary color to add to it?

Kid Gorilla you just have to do black, not much other matches with it. But black will make it look amazing
@@nickferderer2585 You got a good point, the black would look evsn more cool. Thank you! Nick 😃.

How much do they usually charge for painting a car, and that depends on the model of the paint that will be used and the workmanship?
They dont do personal cars, find a place local to you that does plastidip
I could see a lot of Jeep owners getting this one
roof still not done
Looks awesome top effort 👌👍
Hey would the tan have a brighter tone with a white or silver primer underneath please?
Do you have wheel spacers?
Needs tint man!
Badass!!
Question, is this a permanent treatment or does it peel? Thank you in advance
It peels almost like a big sticker
When is there going to be a performance camo tan?
can someone tell me what number this paint has

Desert camo tan with pearls or flakes?🤨
