- These vehicles must have truck bodies weighing in at 6200-pounds, 575 cubic inch limit, turbocharged or supercharged engines, alcohol fuel, and 18.4 x 16.1 tires. Engines make between 2500 and as much as 3200HP.

I only recently began watching the NTPA pulling shows on RFD-TV. Would I be correct in assuming that this Jimmy Johnson is not the former NASCAR driver?🤷♂️🤔

@@willhorting5317 The only major pullers from other events you may have heard of is John Strickland & Brent Payne PDRA GALOT team, Ken Veney Drag Racing, Russell Hildenbrand Motorcycle Drag Racing. Those are the biggest names and there may be a lot more.
I hear them during every event, but never been. It's insane how loud they are
They are all loud and definite plenty powerful.
Especially in a building..
And having these in a big building like this, not only the level of noise, but there's NOWHERE for all of the fumes and smoke to go . So, you'll probably walk out with one hell of a headache& burning eyes. Enjoy the show.
@@michaelleftwich8186 So there was a Vice video I saw about some dude that went to Monster Truck rally inside. "Oh my eyes, the humanity". Just google it and watch it is funny, not funny for you, but it was to me. A grown man getting paid by Vice to attend a Monster Truck event and speak so negatively about it all the while men, women, and children having the times of their lives. "I was like this is not your thing, I GET IT!" People are entitled to their opinions. But as for pulling events, people stay, people enjoy it, and if anybody complains about it, I haven't seen it. Also, if it is going to rain, you bring a umbrella. If you come to a motorsports event, you bring ear protection. You can use your fingers or buy headphones. I had one family that came to me after the Ocala event and it was a guys birthday. He had a blast. No complaints. I even gave him a birthday gift, a hat that matched his lady's hat. You are projecting your feelings and experiences onto others. You will find a nation of people who do not live that way. Let people enjoy life as they see fit. If that affects, you that is you, and not others. But how it affects you, should be your experience alone, and leave it at that. If these events sucked and people were worried about the air quality, no one would buy a ticket and most would not be sold out or standing room only. Lastly this is a pole barn and had plenty of space for the smoke and funes to disipate. I have also filme indoors where they have built in air filtration systems. No negative affect whatsoever. Thank you and I hope you understand my perspective and those of countless first time attendees I have talked over the years.

I hope these guys know they need maximum weight over back wheels for traction. Nothing else matters apart from HP. Fill the tires with water I would. @
