Thank you so much 🙏 Kylie I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and gorgeous piece. And yes I really really love ❤️ to see every single bit of the process too. I really really love ❤️ that your work is really really organic and looking at the finished piece, it’s seems like it’s always been there. I really really love ❤️ too the grunginess of the whole piece too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags

I like seeing your creative process of looking through your papers and as you work . Great water/tearing technique with the cotton paper. Wonderful intuitive Art. Love that you create with paper you have made and that you don't use stickers or store bought cut outs. Beautiful piece of Art you made.

I like the combination of minimalism in the composition and the complexity of the grungy background. :-)

Kylie, this is a stunning piece of art. It is amazing how a few scraps of paper create a simple piece of art. Beauty in simplicity. Your background looks like marble to me. Like you, I love grunge

What I find intriguing about this piece is that each mark, each piece has been selected, trimmed and made to look 'just so' before it is incorporated. It is that attention to the details that I love! I think it shows more of the mind of the artist and that's just plain cool to me!
    Thank you!

Wow Kylie, I concur with the previous comments! Immensely satisfying to watch you take paper and turn it into an ancient tablet or tile, telling it’s own story! You make art with your soul and I love that!💕🇨🇦

Amazing. You have a special gift. Your voice is beautifully calming and your Scottish brogue is music to my Cheshire ears. PLUS ... you have inspired me. You and Nina are fantastic at being able to do that. Thank you for sharing, Kylie, you have made me happy. X

I love your elevation of scraps to works of art and that you don’t overuse ready-made images. So creative!

Thank you so much Chrissie. I do prefer to use my own papers for collage whether created intentionally or just drop sheets. I’m not averse to using ready-made images from time to time - as with other things there is a place and time for it all. I appreciate you watching and leaving your kind comment 😊

This piece is outstanding! I can see and understand your doubt regarding whether you worked the piece too much. I loved this piece in all stages of its journey, and was delighted when you started to take advantage of the texture you created. The burgundy pastel brought in at the end to compliment the color in the piece under the moth was an awesome touch! The sentiment is a powerful addition. This journey was an touching experience! Thanks for making it possible for me to come along. 🥰🌹🙏

Reminds me of a piece of plaster wall art with the 5 elements embedded. Love the texture and the earthy colors. Thank you for leaving the entire process in the video.

Usually I enjoy & learn from watching your process, and like the final piece. But this one was just so 'over the top!' I really, REALLY enjoyed watching the process and then LOVED the final piece!! I hope you enjoyed creating it as much as I enjoyed watching the video and seeing the final piece. Thank you for sharing this!

Love this piece Kylie, love the natural colours and texture on the background, it reminds me of an old plastered wall, with old pictures, love the process and thanks for the inspiration, you have a way with incorporating scraps and making great pieces of art. Meant to message last week, with the image transfer it was good to see how at times things dont work out the way you think, as this does happen a lot to many of us and its nice to see your process as you work through it. Xx

I'm watching this for the second time now. It's so interesting to recognize how you can view the same video and yet take away such divergent ideas and feelings from it. I enjoyed it the second time as much as the first. And no I don't think you over cooked it at all. There is great depth in it. Thanks for sharing. 😊

This piece reminds me of walking past a wall in Tuscany, weathered, worn, and wonderful. I’m in constant doubt of when to stop and oftentimes fall way too short. I should embrace the journey as it looks as though you have.

I think this piece is beautiful. It has an organic feel that I really like. I like the pastel over the textured paper. You have a delicate touch, and this allowed a sense of depth that wouldn't be there if you just rubbed it on roughly. Thank you for sharing. I am quite inspired.

Found poetry is awesome. I love gluing an ATC sized piece of card randomly to a book page and then searching for the poetry. Personally I can see the appeal of the more austere background but I really like the warmth and depth of the piece after you worked on it..for my taste it is not the least bit over worked. Thanksfor the inspiration.

Loved this so much, but I too see where you doubted having so much color. I did prefer more of the white background, because it reminded me of dirty white. It was like an old relic or old white stucco building. But it is still a wonderful piece. Good job, Kylie. Thank you for sharing. I always love your work.

Watching your process is great as there are things I notice along the way that may or may not pop out to me. When you used the X above the moth that was a cool repetition of the shape in an interesting way. Love it and yes it would have been cool to have both versions.

Love watching your process, I learn from it. The piece is wonderful, the texture the gesso provided and how you used it. I would have liked to see it without outlines around the five focal pieces, if desired structure would have been maintained or changed. Love the grunge and earth tones too.

Kylie - I'll be revisiting this video for many reasons. I have khadi - and never really knew what to do with it - or how to "cut" it without cutting it - preserving the edges. The underlying color - gesso - and pastels - the pattern of the pieces and the meaning - all of these draw me in and invite me. Thank you!
