I watched these stories on Instagram but also enjoyed watching them again from my laptop screen 😊. It was great to see you again in BDC although you were trying to expel me from the show🤣🤣
Hello. I also wanted to fly to a philatelic exhibition in London, but a war broke out in my country Ukraine, the boot of the Russian occupier is trampling the Ukrainian land. Greetings from Kyiv, you really liked your video, the only positive video in 10 days of the war.
@@ExploringStamps Me too........ that's gotta be one of the coolest philatelic items I've seen in a very long time.........and yet, it's so simple a concept.
Loved the video, Graham! The Insta format made for a great scrapbook. I'm making a note in py phone about the Charing Cross market for my next sometimeinthefuture trip. A perfect itinerary add-on.
Loved this! I’m exposed to so many new things through your videos! Thank you! I just went on Stanley Gibbons website and ordered a one cent magenta pop-out! So unique and cool! Even though I’ve never been to a stamp show, I can go virtually through your videos!
Thanks for this video! Watched first half so far, and glad to learn much more about the philately circle! I am now planning to visit UK in June & July, and will be keen to check out the Museum of Brands & Charing Cross Collector's Market!
Glad it was helpful! Also make sure to check out the Postal Museum and the British Library, lots of philatelic enjoyment there as well. Thanks for watching 😊
@@ExploringStamps Thanks! Yes, I have noted the Postal Museum and British Library from your previous videos. The Royal Philatelic Society also seems to have a museum for the public which I am keen to explore too. :)
Hi Graham - having just watched your London 2022 video - fascinating as always, it grieves me even more now that I was unable to attend due to the vagaries of British Rail. Stampex in the Autumn will be a definite, whatever the transport problems. Will you be attending that too? Best wishes
Thank you Ian! Sorry you weren't able to make it to the event this time. I'm not sure about Stampex in the Autumn yet, we will see. Hope you are well 😊
@@mattgibbs73 Very good, Matt, but York is 280+ miles away from me - our problem was that we had no trains at all for 9 days due to major track relaying.
@@ExploringStamps I am back in Paris where I was born and lived the 16 first year of my life. I am still collecting...afer 50 years...I caught the bug a long time ago. Til your next video, David
Great informal video. I enjoyed my day there too. Loved your info on the underground stamp dealers 'bourse' at Charing Cross, I've heard of it but never had the chance to go. Amusingly titled it sounds like it's a bit clandestine. Psst! Wanna buy some...inverted watermarks 🤣. I think I may have to check it out sometime 👍
👀 🤣 it totally sounds like some sketchy stamp dealings taking place! Thanks Matt, glad you enjoyed the video and your day at the show. Thanks for watching!
I work at the airport and today seems to be the day that face covering mandates have ended. I'm still gonna wear my mask. The CDC still recommends face masks. Thank you for continuing to wear your face masks at the airport. Excited about learning about this stamp show!!!!
It was a stunning event! The next London International stamp show will be in 2030, but there will be a Stampex every 6 months or so, next one this Autumn. Thanks for watching. 😊
Graham, did the Royal Mail people tell you that they had to change the colour of the second class Machins from blue to Green as blue does not scan very well.
#discovery for this one Graham ---> with a huge blink of one eye next time don't be shy to leave my handy number to Isobel for a "midnight Paris"...for Victoria seems to be too late (after midnight...😉)...Charing Cross market must have been great time.all this trip to London also..aside o that..to fit your "frenchies" sides, have a shave: it can't be worst than the PTS publication 🤔😉 I really enjoyed this one (I missed the coffee and the double bacon✌) Take it easy and keep doing as great..All my best...waiting for your next one..😎🍾
Love the content (despite being more of a topographical postcard collector than a philatelist! ) You've got me looking at some interesting stamps now on eBay!
@@ExploringStamps I'm a philatelist in London and certainly hadn't spotted this on spotted media. Good to see that you've made it to my local stamp fair under the arches at the Embankment though! Nice to see it coming back post-pandemic. Definitely one to get to early if you're going for interesting new material to thumb through.

It's too bad, though, they are intent on perpetuating the snobby elitist image, with that formal attire dinner.
