    I have naturally curly hair with natural ringlets. I have just cut the ends off so it looks healthy. I think whatever hairstyle you naturally have is the best one for you. It just needs to look healthy and well kept.

    your makeup, hair and presentation looks great! I have started investing with skin care by getting chemical peels and derma planning, treatments can really reverse some of the damaging effects of the sun.

      Thank you very much for the compliment, Bri! Yes they really can. They can be an investment, but so incredibly worth it.

    This is my second video of yours. You are charming, beautiful, and informative. I have found all your grooming tips are spot on. I have also found a healthy diet and plenty of water our best grooming advice. I agree buying the best quality you can is great but also have found some very good products recommended by my dermatologist are budget friendly and found at drugstores and discount stores. I have also found a very budget friendly cosmetic company that may not be organic but is vegan and cruelty free. And I love the feel of their products on my skin, their brushes are very nice and the product lasts throughout the day even when using a light touch. Thank you so much for your videos.

    My hair lenght is nearly extra long and naturally colored with natural waves. I reduced my makeup dramatically since 2021 Spring. Only do my brows and lighly eyes. I started focus on more my skincare products. I haven't regret. No extensions or fake nails. I avoid getting tanned even naturally.

    Being Australian, sun damage is a real problem here, more than in the UK where your weather is so dreary. But at the same time, I don't want to wear chemicals every single day by putting on sunscreen and the more natural suncreens seem to be more a barrier idea, which causes breakouts for me (same with tinted SPF moisturizers 😭).

    • @jahaira57
      @jahaira57 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      have you tried shea butter? It's a natural sunscreen that is rated very low for causing breakouts.

    • @NicoleFiona

      This can be a topic for a whole other video. Endocrine disruptors. It's such a fine line, between wanting and needing to use certain products, but then also knowing that the amount of chemicals being put on the body on the daily is actually insane.

    I have used a high end hungarian organic skincare line for 30 years, I don't wear make up I am 56 years old, this pic of me is only 2 years old. folks comment that my skin looks like I am 35. so I guess its working. LOL! I don't use sunscreen at all because I am allergic to all of them.

    Just to mention, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are not from old money. Kate’s Father had a modest trust fund but both parents had to work at ordinary jobs, nothing wrong with that. As for Meghan, she has no connection to old money in her background, she married it.

    You know what I started doing that I saw Katy Perry does is I buy large bottles of vitamins that are geared towards my needs (everyone’s needs is different) and I buy small plastic ziplock bags and I create a packet of my daily dose of vitamins in each bags so all I have to do is throw a weeks worth in my bag so I can just pull them out and I don’t have to go throw each bottle each day because the packet already has it! I thought about buy the ones from a company I can’t remember the name where I buy direct from them but I think I prefer to buy my own so I can hand pick my vitamins. But yes I have been trying to get back into my simple chic look I used to have but I work in healthcare and have to wear scrubs and sneakers and I have to wear a certain color too 😩😩😩 so I have no control over this from my entire work week 🥺 but I have let go my hair and makeup and even my jewelry because I was lacking motivation but I figure if I can’t control what I have to wear I can control my accessories (hair, nails, makeup, earrings, etc)

      Ah, I didn't know that she does that. But it makes sense. Because honestly the sorting process can take SO long. It sounds like you have become aware of how you can elevate these areas. And sometimes, thats the hardest part. Now you just have to take action!

    Should a person of African descent always relax their hair to appear as a person with old money values? What about natural African hair?

    • @lizabetx483
      @lizabetx483 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My thoughts exactly. Old money is often also tied to racism. Braids, twists allow your hair to be neat and manageable but many still turn up their noses at these natural hairstyles.

    The information about food vitamins and GMO’s is wildly inaccurate. GMO’s are necessary to be able to feed the amount of people on the earth, GMO doesn’t necessarily mean chemicals or replacement “cardboard” either, it means selective germination and raising plants to get bigger, stronger, and produce more. Without this there would be less than half the amount of fresh produce on earth and the cost of all groceries would be astronomical. You are not eating a plant with less nutritional value, if anything it has more than it’s counterpart 100 years ago, even if it’s not naturally occurring. Vitamins are a helpful tool to be able to supplement a healthy diet or account for deficiency. Not trying to hate, i love your style and your commitment to the lifestyle but nutritional information should come from specialists like she mentioned she isn’t a professional
