This band just do NOT write bad songs .I've seen them 4 times always a spectacular show. I also met them. IF any Fixx member reads this -I was the guy who walked into your dressing room by mistake when you played at Oakville Performing Arts Center in 2005 lol!
It’s like Rupert Hine is being channeled in this one, the sound of this reminds me so much of his productions!
How so? A song like Shaman, yes very much. This one not so much.
@@chrisknowlton9460 I don’t agree. I think it sounds more like Phantoms era mixed with Walkabout era sound. Also reminds me of Hine’s own work, the Thinkman album, for example.

I have heard people try to pass off to me that 'One Thing Leads To Another' is a one-hit wonder group. And I said, who Told you that? Just because Radio stations have A.D.D. and cannot follow a Superb Group of men with Talent, doesn't mean that I fall victim to that ignorance. I never realized after my brother and sister Turned-Me-On to The FIXX, that it would end up as a Lifetime of Memories and Hits. Deep Anthems, Rock Tracks, Ballads, Erie-good stories ensconced into a musical theatrical performance, hence for me, 'Woman On A Train' or the Beautiful True-Love 'Promise' described in a Self-Less Love ballad to an Amazing woman "I Will' These men have kept going and going and I am Proud of them. There is so much else that they have done. in 1986 when I started getting more into Music, I came across their Album WALK-ABOUT and it all started to take me off moving onto more albums of their from Reach The Beach and then Phantoms... Thank You for Playing onward and Upward. All Good Things Come From Above.

this is fantastic - what a great song - its like they vent ever disappeared.... voice, lyrics... so refreshing and present in 2022 - finally they are back
I'm torn- I kind of like getting drip fed the new album song by song, but part of me misses sitting down and listening to a new album start to finish. Of the 4 songs that have been released, I rate them:
1- Closer
2- Wake Up
3- Take What You Want
4- Woman of Flesh and Blood.
