I love how the tire noises are much more nuanced now, and actually useful for grip driving. Since the onset of squeal is so gradual you get more warning before losing traction. Makes driving without FFB way easier imo!
They're working on it with Angethegreat, he has a youtube channel and he offered to create a sound system based off of live info instead of recorded pieces and it's a pretty difficult thing to do , you should go check him out to check on the progress
that bluebuck launch tire squeal reminds me of that one tire squeal stock sound effect everyone was using in the 2000s (just look up any clips of Hotwheels Acceleracers)

The patch notes did say that the current gear grind noise is a placeholder. It is an improvement over the same generic noise that's been there since the start, but I see your point. I don't know if it'll be as sophisticated as you suggest, though given how they've come so far, I wouldn't be surprised.

that gear grinding sound makes me never want to turn off clutch assist, it sounds like a skeleton is being slammed against the engine
I'm so used to clutching after _shifting_ with a manual (on controller) that I end up grinding the gears way to much.
Just get better at shifting lol

glad they changed the tire sounds in 0.29 and 0.30 i always felt they needed a update and now its oddly satisfying to listen to them now
I love all this. The only thing BeamNG is missing as far as sounds are concerned is a proper rev limiter sound.

It sounds pretty accurate as is you just gotta tune the rev limit time from 0.1 sec to .02/0.25

How does it work btw? U just turn of the engine when you were driving and it got hot or its crackling even when u just spawned a new car?
@@OndOnd_3 when you spawn a vehicle with a combustion engine, it spawns "preheated" by default, so technically yes, it should start making the noise😅
