an area where Akai should be leading.. but this thing looks so interesting... i like that they put a usb-c, i find the older usb port is too woobly with these kind of devices...nice review
do you know if there's a way to change the midi channel it's on from the controller itself? Im thinking about this for a dawless setup, thanks for the video!
I suppose I have for menu knobs but not as just a general potentiometer and 4 of them. I’m used to a start and end point. The akai is a good example. So I suppose years back I had used one and didn’t even realize it.
The 360 degree knobs are rotary encoders. I’m sure some of your synths have them as well. The “pointer” on the knob is meaningless as they apply a relative change to a value.
Just curious, did you get it for free? Is this a paid review? If so, who paid you for the review? Were there terms you agreed to before the review? Did you show the company the video before it went live? I've only watched a minute thirty of the video, and I don't recall that you have disclosed any of the info yet. Did you know that it's against TH-cam's TOS not to do so?
I appreciate the concern. I’ve never been paid to do any of my videos. It was sent to me with zero obligations and at the end I disclose that. In summary, it was not a paid video. Just sharing my authentic thoughts and opinion about the product.
So nice! Thanks!
✌️

you never encountered 360 degree knobs ? most of controlers made by AKAI have endless knobs (360 degrees) - the sleeve is nice, protect against dust.
