Enjoying the videos. I'm originally from UK, but live in Canada. Recently applied for my Paraguay temporary residency. Was in Asuncion in September 2024 and really enjoyed it. I believe (unless it's recently changed) the 180 days is for tax residency. At the moment to keep your temporary residence, it's was 1 day per year. At the time of writing, after two years, you can convert it to Permanent (subject to the current qualifying requirements and documentation).
@@sidequestdrei I recommend you visit Ñu Guasu Park; it's very beautiful, and you can do various sports activities there. Try to go on a day when it's not too hot. Greetings, and enjoy Paraguay!
The nice thing about Paraguay residency is that you don’t have to be in the country every half year. Once you first get the residency you have to come back after 2 years and then you only have to come back after ten years to renew the residency. They do have a requirement to be in the country every three years but that is currently not enforced.
Oh that explains a lot, Thx for sharing that information. I’ve lived in Paraguay for 5 years, and I once went there, and I can definitely I had very mixed feelings about the zoo, very small spaces for big animals, some looking quite obese, and some even lonely. A lot of the exhibits themselves don’t particularly look like the most well cared for.
Lots of capacity being built. I suspect real-estate moguls know that a lot of cash from the West is looking at running away and finding allocation abroad. A flat in Paraguay is an option. That's why residency is easy, taxes are low and there isn't much regulation. I suspect these flats will sell relatively quickly and will then mostly be for rental or stay empty (plan B). That may be the reason why infrastructure isn't being improved (it doesn't make much sense to bring so much additional capacity while not improving transportation/grid systems). To some extent, it looks like some cities in China around 2010. Capacity being built everywhere. It would be interesting to find some info on Asuncion's development plan. All this doesn't happen by itself.
I went there a few years ago, and tho I can’t blame them too much for tight budget, I had very mixed feelings with the zoo, many of the big animals especially just worry me, cause of limited space, and how obese some of them looked, like the big cats and hippos, event he elephant looked really lonely. Idk, not particularly brightest zoo I’ve went in. The rest of the exhibits tho looked pretty Decent tho
tengo una consulta y no es a malas. Porque ultimamente hay tanta gente de habla inglesa por villa morra? tan bajos son los tax en el pais? facil por dia me cruzo con creadores de contenido jsjs
There is 0% tax on foreign earned income, so that makes it very appealing for remote workers/digital nomads, entrepreneurs etc from other countries. Also Villa Mora is well developed and relatively safe so foreigners like to stay there.
momento Paraguay 🗣🔥
Saludos desde aca! 🇵🇾🇵🇾

Creo que el animal que estaba con los capibaras es un Tapir y es un animal autoctono de la zona

Normalmente los impuestos en otros países son del 30-40% por eso hay muchos extranjeros ahora por los barrios más lindos
