*First part* - Founding of Rome. *Second part* - Fall of Rome.
sorry I asked how do you know that?
I'm interested to know jeejje
I was fascinated by the topic of the Romans.
@@MrShouttaKun Don't know about him, but if you just listen closely to the music and pay attention. For me the part from 0:00 to 0:20 sounds like celebrations (maybe like Rome establishing itself as one of the Greatest Civilisations ever) and from 0:21 onwards, I can just feel the view of seeing the Western Roman empire cities burning with giant clouds of ashes in the sky that cover the sun.
Gloria agli nostri ancestori Romani. 🇮🇹
I first thought that was just epic trailer music for the announcement. It's so cool

@@randompost2770 Eastern roman empire: Say that again !
I like how this will apparently play in both Return of Rome (AoE I Mode) and Age of Empires II Mode, why change something that ain't broke. lol
the theme sounds freaking epic! i love it
My new favorite civ track.
RoR was the only DLC I pre order for aoe2. The only thing I cared for was the roman civ. So basically I pre-ordered and payed a DLC for a single civ. And I think it's worth every penny. Bc it's not A civ, it's THE civ.
U are a man of good taste.
I bought every single DLC. That's what a true lover of AoE does!
@@NixDarkLord i also bought most dlcs, I jesu had never pre ordered b4. But that has nothing to 2 with being a franchise fan. I've played aoe1 when you're on diapers.
Esa intro da como una enorme sensación de poder.
This theme was also used as the background music for RoR trailer

Listening to this theme I imagine sons of Rome standing victorious after facing hordes of barbarians in the hardest battle. And warm sunset smiles to cities of fading yet glorious Empire. That's how one of it's last days finishes.
Will you be making a video of all the AoE1 civ themes?
going hard with that Aulos
WELL DONE 👍🏻!
What is the numeric filename of the theme? I have a playlist with all civ themes extracted, so I really want to add it!
Where do you found them? Can you extract the jingles too?
Glad they went with something authentic and not just what lay people might imagine Roman music to sound like.
SPQR!!!
ROMANI ITE DOMUM
I do not approve of this message, but I'll give credit for being grammatically correct this time
@@GrafVonTirol are you expecting me to write "romanes eunt domus" ? 11

Yeah you only get 1 new AOEII civ from this DLC but it's the motherf*&king Romans.

Senatus Populusque Romanus
Interesting is that the closest country close to Roman empire today is Romania the language and everything is fascinating sometimes I wonder if they are the modern Romans
No
Modern Romania is gypsy country))
The last large ethnic group that self-associated presicely with the roman identity were the modern greeks that were self identified as Rhomaioi until the greek revolution in 1821.
Romania has possibly a latin ancestry with the Wallachian people due to the origin of their langugage and the name served nationally to resemble the roots.
But countriess such as France, Britain, Spain, Portugal and Italy have a more legitimate reason to claim roman identity since they still have a romance language closer to the vulgar latin.

@@misutahowaitodesu it is a gag from Monty Pythons '' the life of Brian'' a parody of the Jesus story
in a test of courage the Titular Brian was challenged to whrite "Romans go Home" on the local Roman Fortress in Betlehem he gets caught however by an especially Pedantic Roman Centurio that calls Brian out on his bad Grammar and thus forces Brian to whrite the grammatically ''correct'' sentence Romanus eont Domus again and again on the entire Wall ... when the deed is done the centurio lets him rest and go ...well until the next Patrol of Roman legionairies arrives and are rather pissed because some fool whrote Romans go home on their Fortress and then Hunt Brian through the entire city
