I had a half shepherd half doberman that lived to be 18. She was an amazing intelligent animal. We loved her so deeply. She was part of our family. She's been gone 20 years and we still miss her.
I never understand why some podiatrists don't soak the feet before trimming calluses to make it not only easier on them but also less uncomfortable for the patient. Is there a medical reason?
I THINK it's because soaked skin gets SO EXTRA soft a person could cut clean through fresh tissue, so it's kind of a fail-safe to make sure you're only cutting the outer most callus action. I think. 🤷🏿♀️
In some videos from Asian Countrys u can c patient's sitting in chairs with their feet Soaking in tubs that's why in their videos the procedures r much easier 2 do.
@@lilysentertainment I think we have the worst podiatrists in the US. Their training is not so good. Podiatrists from other countries are much more efficient and perform a great job
Cracked! Great work!I have cracked heels sometimes from working outside in flip flops and watering plants… i use a fine or medium piece off of a large sheet of regular sandpaper- just out of the shower. It takes ALL the dead dry skin and calloused skin build up away like magic! Do not overdo it until it becomes painful though…
It doesn’t look like the foot was soaked before cutting back the callus. Why not soak. It would take less time to reduce as well as be safer for your fingers. Less chance of the scalpel slipping.
CRACKED Goodness, this callus looks so painful. I've never seen one like that on a big toe. I'm so glad he came in to have you take care of it. I enjoy your videos, especially the ones of diabetic ulcers. Those cases amaze me. It's shocking how under a callus there can be an ulcer hiding and doing so much damage to the foot. Thank you for sharing these cases with us. 😊🌻
Cracked! You asked some really good questions, it was really interesting. But. I think it was TMI. I think he was distracted by watching you and your questions. He told us : his first name, the dog's name and age, that he just returned from a six month deployment to Iraq, their job ws locating demolitions. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. If one of his CO'S wanted to find out who he was, it wouldn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure it out. You would have made a great Inquisitor. :○)
Straight up stolen valor. Anyone in the military can attest to the way that this guy was responding, the tone in his voice, and throwing “classified” around that he is lying. 😂
Would softening the callus first help with removing. The entire video nothing was completed. Leaving viewers disappointed that nothing was accomplished! I hope this problem was eventually fixed!
People think training a dog to sniff out a certain substances is not easy... you'd be surprised how easy it really is. I had my last dog ( black lab ) learn to sniff out different drugs within hours !!! Dog's are amazing and so easy to train you don't even need to use verbal commands. My dog would look at me and with my facial expressions and eye movements he knew exactly what I wanted. It's hard after you loose such a dog and I haven't got another one since him. Another cool fact about my dog is, he was born on December 25 and died on Good Friday 13.3 years after his birth. But I allowed him to be a hooligan most of the time. I didn't like the idea of acting like a GOD over him.
Those boots our soldiers wear are not designed to protect feet and they should be. There would be less foot issues and infections with better tech footwear for the military.

I don’t think it’s medical maybe just preference I’ve watched a bunch of these videos some do soak the feet and some don’t.
Cracked! Nice work, I also enjoy your relationship to your patients and the conversations you each have. God bless

I thought of doing that once haven’t yet but good to know it does work
Could the clippers and scalpel be any duller?
Thank you Greg for your service!
Are there sharper blades? And would soaking his feet first help?

Doctor is this callous being caused because of pressure??
Pressure point on the feet
Just wondering why you didn't take care of the top where it was cracked..
There Was more just above toe and the nail?
You’re not going to clean up the cracked callus above the trimmed area?
Cracked. Now, please explain why you didn’t soak his foot before cutting down the callous. TIA
Cracked. Thanks for your service Greg
The scalpel blade seems dull. Get a sharp one please.
I think if he uses a dull blade so the video will be longer.
I am a footcare nurse and enjoy your videos very much.

I love the way Dr. Is carefully removing the callus and working around the crack in the patient’s toe skin.
Cracked! Great video. Love watching you work, you are so gentle.
Cracked. Wow, that thing was huge. Great job. Awesome rapport with your patient.
I’m thinking urea 40% and salicylic acid 2% cream is going to be my go to cream here soon when I can no longer maintenance scrub my feet every shower
CRACKED
Did you remove an ingrown from that toe in the past. It looks like the nail is very straight along the side
I thought the same. I have a toe that looks similar.
You could have used clippers perhaps for the callus. I’ve seen DC Doctor do that.
Also the " Toe Bro" in Canada. He is great.
How about buying a bigger blade?
Why not soak the foot first to soften the skin?
because he doesn't fucking want to ? that's why !!! why ask such a stupid question .......i am yelling at my computer screen typing this OK !!!
Really enjoy your videos and the conversation - Cracked!
Very interesting conversation. I like your kind way of speaking with patients. ❤
Cracked
Very interesting patient. His boots must be a bad fit? or is it the nature of his work?
I don't understand why they don't soak first!?
Cracked new podiatrist here loved your work ❤
I love your sense of humor
I have calluses on my big toes also. Same spot. But I have always just grabbed a razor blade and trimmed mine down. Bet he feels better walking now!!
Pourquoi ne pas faire tremper le pied?
Wäre die Arbeit nicht leichter durch Fußbad am Anfang ?
Una domanda....ma perché non bagnate i piedi sarebbe tutto molto più semplice invece così causare più danni
Cracked, thank you
CRACKED I really your interaction with your patient as I’m sure it relaxes them!
CRACKED. Oh my goodness this looks painful for this man. Glad you are carefully removing it for him. Enjoying the video to see how it is done. 😮

Se colocar emoliente nesse calor não ficaria mais fácil 😮??

Hi Dr., not all people like small talk. It's ok to be quiet.

Why not soak to soften up. The constant struggling to remove dried skin makes for frustrating viewing!
