Entering Early Summer, Gardening etc初夏へ,庭づくりなどAlaska Off Grid Cabinlifeアラスカ小屋暮らし

As the snow melts and the soil peeks out, we wonder if the plants we planted have survived the Alaskan winter. It makes us happy to see that plants and trees came back to life or animals are enjoying warmth.
I heard when somebody gave birch sap to a weak plant, the plant came back to life and became healthy. I thought that was incredible. So we gave sap of the end of the season to the garden as fertilizer.
Around this time, as spring turns into early summer, the midnight sun begins and the weather becomes stable. It's a refreshing season to spend time outside in the sun without being distracted by mosquitoes.
雪がとけ、土が顔を出すころ、これまでに植えた植物が、アラスカの冬を越したかどうか気になります。植えた植物だけでなく、野生の木々や草花が芽吹き、動物たちが元気そうでいるのを見るとうれしくなります。
白樺の樹液を弱った植物にあげたら、すごく元気になったという話を聞きました。終わりごろのシロップにはしにくい樹液を畑に撒いてみるのは、最高の肥料なのではと思い、あげてみました。
春から初夏に移り変わるこのころから、爽やかな白夜が始まり、初夏は天気も安定しています。蚊に気を取られることなく、外で太陽のもと過ごすのが爽快な季節です。

初夏の風景を届けてくれてありがとうございます。 お二人のエネルギーが森に力を与えているのかしら。 九州は３８度の猛暑。 若い頃は、夏は２８度くらいだったから、１０度の違い。 もう日常になりつつありますが、梨がスーパーにたくさん並ぶ季節でもあって、恵みに感謝。 どうぞ、お二人、お体大切に。

ありがとうございます。自然からの恵みにほんと感謝ですね。九州の方も猛暑なのですね。わたしたちがいた三重県も猛暑だと聞いています。前とは10度も違うなんて。。。日本のみずみずしい梨を思い出しました。これから、暑さが続きますが、どうぞご自愛ください。
