I feel like I'm right there with you all. RRK you have turned in to Papa. Everything is so beautiful and well I think it is still there without human observation and senses. I know--its one of the age-old philosophical questions. To have an animal that is your friend is amazing in itself, I wish I could have heard his imitation of the bird, you could tell he was calling back to it.

From Becca: What a magnificent setting where their cabin is located and a beautiful documentary they put together of the snowstorms and how they are managing. I like the interview at the end with him describing the inner workings of the cabin. It sure is a lot of work to maintain everything especially with the snow and the fact that he works full time. I don’t know how he does it, but it seems perfectly suited for him. I did not realize all the acreage he had and how absolutely gorgeous the landscape is. The beauty of it is amazing. My favorite part is the pink sky with the white snow--Ive never seen that--but it's all beautiful. It's a hard life during those blizzards and temperatures. I guess I would try to split the wood before winter, but you probably didn't foresee how hard the chore would be during a blizzard. It's a lot work, all that shoveling. I can barely do my little driveway and car before having to take a break 1/3 of the way through. It's a nice movie, well put together, Keiko! Sphinx is adorable walking the paths!

That is the most gorgeous, beautiful place. These words feel unable to convey what the eyes see and the heart feels, because the earth has so many phenomena and we have a few of these senses that we can use to experience (part of) it. Thanks for putting together the film. If only for me. I hope others can be interested enough to watch it.

I made a batch in the spring time but used pure concentrated sap and Safeale-04, some of that rich colour must come from the Chaga as mine is more like a slightly pink coors light. They say in the old recipe books to age it well, next year I’ll likely devote a 19L keg to it and let it age 6 months… it’s quite something to be able to turn some tree sap and a bit of yeast into beer. 👍

Thank you for the cranberry sauce; just got it today in the mail and haven't tried it yet; watching how you made it on this video. What a beautiful deep color of red. As usual, I LOVE your videos and feel like I am there with you! It's very special for me since I can't be there physically--it is close enough.Sure is pretty there with all the trees and sunrises and sunsets. We had a most COLORFUL fall here too, so many reds--it was a dry fall,, no rain, good color.
