Sanders will hv enormous difficulty reading NFL defenses and going through his progressions in a times and measured way. He virtually did none of that at Colorado. He simply dropped back and winged-it, many times simply running around, holding the ball too long and getting sacked. NFL graveyards are filled with dominant college football quarterbacks who never succeeded at the NFL-level. Sanders will be added to that list!
Personally I don't think it was recency bias as much as the Heisman is thought of as an offensive award. Travis Hunter being more of a defensive star probably worked against him with certain voters PS: Quinn Ewers is highly overrated, it feels like he's choked every time he's played another big time school
Ashton was generational, Bruce. What the? There was nothing about him playing that weekend that got him extra votes. What a ridiculous statement. Ashton went for OVER 2400 YARDS. I swear that is such a cold take. Frankly Hunter being a Biletnikoff finalist only tells me college Wars aren’t good.
@@RohithReddy-q2jdifference is what they had to work with. Melvin Gordon had the best OLine in the country and only had about 1200 yards after contact. Jeanty has over 1800 yards after contact, which would put him 2nd in the nation in TOTAL RUSHING YARDS. Melvin was great, but Jeanty is on another level
BRUUUCE!!!

Same thing Williams hasn’t ever adjusted to in the NFL. They are NOT going to be able to scramble from SL and LB’s like they did in college.
I am guessing you had the exact same opinion on Lamar and Jayden.
@@DD-sr9xmdid Shedeur win a Heisman that I didn’t know about?
@@DD-sr9xm are you kidding?? Shedeur is not close to Lamar Jackson or Jayden Daniels
Clearly yall can’t read. He didn’t compare sheduer to them he stated the man had the same take on those qbs as sheduer reading is fundamental
