You do realize the guy who made Autorune literally works for Jagex, right? And hes far from the only one... For more than 15 years, some of the biggest botters have actually ended up working for jagex in various positions. Most often scripting NPCs in quests, but thats far from the most influence any of them have had on the game over the years...

Here's how to fix the Corp abuse issue: Add in Summer's End.
I don't fuckin' know why Corp was added but not the quest associated with it. Fixes the problem and adds two new quests to OSRS (with changes to make up for the fact summoning isn't in the game)
or just make it so you have to do more than 200 dmg to get a reward/kill from corp

@@rob465 not really... Bot maker hire Venezuelans to do quests and its super cheap for easy quests... They could get 100 accounts with the required quests completed for under $100. Granted... I've never done summers end and don't know how hard it is, but i imagine its easy if its a prerequisite for a skill. If its a high combat lvl quest it could be a good prereq

They profit billions per month, and he concluded they train at flesh crawlers to move onto other notting tasks.
Those thieving bots that insta log probably just have log out when sir pugger shows up.

Some people have 200M Xp in every single skill. They’re just sweaty.
Those bots that train agility are might be using shortcuts between godwars and the wilderness. If that’s the case, there might be more bots that are supposed to kill them when they enter the wilderness, which could be a way to trick Jagex into thinking the pker bots are legit.
As Brilliant as Gudi was to imagine this, it's not a strategy that anyone legit would use. Either make Corp immune to Retribution, or make it so that you don't get drops if if too much retribution damage is dealt.
Or just change Retribution so that it only works on other players. Or the easiest answer would be to just remove it until another solution can be thought of/implemented.

If they dont do it i dont know if runescape is still worth, how they can miss 1.5k corp beast kills with level 65 and not notice anything weird about it, i mean atleast just check it out lmao.. Plus the duel arena scams or crawling hand bots, just hire a fucking guy who walks around popular botting spots or something, i quit 2 years ago but botting problem has been there for ages....

This isn't a fix, this is a bandaid. We shouldn't be changing mechanics to stop bots. We should just be working on stopping bots. If you haven't worked it out yet from this channel, bot owners will just change their bots to do something else, and jagex will just be slapping bandaids on everything they do.
They know they can easily fix it. but bots still make jagex money

Those flesh crawler bots were the first bot farm I encountered when I started playing over 2 years ago and they are still going at it.
Plot change: They're Jagex employees. Jagex is double dipping. Selling OSRS Gold online, making a ton, then banning those who get "caught" buying from them, knowing they just gonna make a new account and repeat. Then say they sue the "company" selling gold online, to make customers think they're actually trying to stop bots...

@@ryanwillis6129 that account is handplayed while the others bot but it is a goldfarmer nontheless.
One mechanic they could put into place is a lives system. No player may die more than 2-3 times in one instance. This forces them to pull a Gudi and increase the number of accounts. after a certain number, the cost to train these accounts up wouldn't be worth it. Another method we could possibly try to get out there to the J-Mods is to simply have an intermediate-hard questline required to enter corp which requires a chunky bit of skilling which would force the accounts to bot for longer or have the person invest time. That time however is the key bit as if one money maker becomes too hard to do they'll migrate to another but if you continue to stomp them out where they go then botting will become a little bit harder each time.
tbh every boss above level 200-300 should be quest locked. doesnt have to be even lore related, just to prolong the time it takes for bots to start farming them and having higher odds of getting banned in the process if they bot things like agilty/rc which have high ban rates. (could also help with gwd bots)
It helps initially but then bot makers just find ways around it. This game is too archaic and simple to prevent botting happening :(
A lot of bot makers probably enjoy the new challenges, and regular players get fucked over by the new requirements.
Ahhh, I'd noticed whenever I was doing Mahogany Homes that whenever I'd visited the estate agent on Hosidous, there'd be tons of seeds on the ground near the master farmer but no-one thieving. Sneaky little boys

The reason they have other stats is because they definitely need a certain total level to join a clan chat and you can open a clan instance. I also ran into those bots a couple days ago. Reported them all but not much else I could do

Jagex should add in a Mechanic that rewards players for reporting bots, tho only after the bot was successfully banned.

@Stock Name There probably could be measures added to it. Maybe things like accounts reaching ceirtan thresholds before being able to apply this feature. There could be more measures as well.

Big Brain idea, make a bot to just stand and chill at master farmers on every world so they can never stay logged in. Basically a bot scarecrow bot.

@SirPugger i reported the bot farm in Stronghold in 2019, i sent pictures names basically a whole folders worth of information to mods on twitter and even emailed it. They have been doing it for a very long time. One owner even spoke to me saying " he used quest scripts to bot them to there levels before they are then moved to flesh crawlers" once they finished quests. He moved them to flesh crawlers until reached 99 all combat using Shared xp, he then sells the accounts after selling all runes, ores and herbs. They are upgraded to an obby dagger as they get higher.
I haven't played osrs in over 2 years and I still watch these videos. It's awesome how you find all these bots and figure out what they're doing and how they're doing it. I hate how people ruin online games with gold farming and whatever else and it's gotta be a huge pain in the ass for the people running all the bots when people start screwing with them

There are also a lot of bots doing zammy wines upstairs north of falador. They log in as soon as it spawns and then telegrab and then log out until it respawns and logs back in again.

It's a neat Trick useful for this, but they also have a main account that doesnt bot or they wouldn't be able to get away with thos I'd bet. However any amount of internet harrassment could be tracked back to them so if they are smart they won't, I guess the main word is IF
Bots at flesh crawlers: if you click thr door enough times you bypass the security questions and go through. That's why the bots get through and take your rannar, not because they're well programmed.
That flesh crawler bot farm has been there for probably 10 years. Easily the reason everyone has herbs so easily available.
@sirpugger Revs arent across the wilderness the caves were just made bigger and they got spread out in there and the other ones got their own caves. And revs are now singles plus.
Hey Pugger, Big fan! but real quick i just wanted to fill you in on a possible bot farm. Now i know for a fact ive seen this on youtube. I forgot who it was but it was def. you or crumb who covered this bot farm and brought it to light. But this bot farm is located on world 386, Or well the few bots i seen. I know they were bots by the movement, by what they are doing and buying. This is the only world i checked before logging off. But long story short, was running DKs slayer task, and needed to bank. Remember those 2 cities that were fighting, where you get the jester outfit and a very old private server home location? One was named just like the Netz Helm, the other city is bleak and gray. I forgot the names but i can show you or anyone where this is exactly. Sorry if its confusing. First comment ever on TH-cam lol

Hey, tried to kill the 110-120's green dragon bot farm and what I realized there's probably two farms. The dudes with granite bodies and dragon legs, boots teleport out almost instantly, bots from the other farm teleport out with delay but if you tele block them they either get stuck or try to run to 0 wilderness. Kill averages are just around 50-100k but there's 3-7 bots on every world ranging from level 60 to 120+ so I doubt they're getting banned...

Hey sir pugger! I love your videos. I think what you do for the osrs community is amazing and we need more people like you. With that being said jagex still doesn't do enough to combat this problem. I think its time for a good old fashioned falador riot in game. You have the capability to reach more people than me so i was wondering if this would be something that you may be interested in doing. Maybe as a video too

I found a bot farm earlier today. I was banking at Zanaris and I noticed a ton of accounts with similar names and gear running to the fairy ring and back to bank. They were going to the Karambwan fishing spot, they all had 90+ fishing but less than 50 for everything else
This happened on world 304

I was at giant mole because i thought why not and literally couldnt find an empty world and when I do, I'd get crashed. None of the accounts I saw reacted to me at all. Almost all used ranged and I even saw one with a tbow. Makes so much sense that they are bots.

Likely the Bots with varied Agility have just been botted to full Graceful. Among other quests like the Knights sword (29 Smithing).
I got 99 str at flesh crawlers in f2p back in 2010,and trained several other accounts there in p2p.u can afc there, swap between rooms when they stop attacking. Those guys aren't bots. They're real people chinese. They train there to farm gold. They collect, fire runes and rannar and other valuable herbs.i know this because after a full inventory they tele. They probably go there because not alot competition. I gave one a whip before and he accepted it. He said some jimberish then went back to collecting herbs and runes.

I did come across a bot farm on ftp worlds. They were just endlessly killing chickens at the lumbridge farm between lumbridge and draynor. They weren't even looting the drops and I watched them do this for hours while I was training a new acct.
There was also a potato farming bot as well, lmao

I believe there is something fishy happening at Corp , whenever I solo Corp and special attack it’s stats down to zero , the second I’m done all of my specs this team of 5 instantly log into my world and start taking the kill on me with spec transfers and what not . I’ve recently made a new account to hold a private instance for me , but still I don’t know how they know the second I’m done getting it’s stats fully lowered they all log on
