Chop them dry and put them in a qt masom jar and put in your freezer works like a charm. I just put a spoon in to take out what i need. Never sticks together.
Not everyone has a vacuum sealer, but I love having mine for being able to make custom size out of large bags .. width/length available and control allows ability to make shallow wide bags, and if you get creative beyondthe originalformat bag, little sachet size bags🥰 *Done carefully, several small bags can be vacuum sealed at same time in my sealer with success..I first make double vertical seals,(so pouches can be cut separately) then can have vertical pouches(I can cut widthwise & then seal bottom for more, shorter height pouches) Handy tool when you discover how you can use it!
I like to use the tiny sauce cups with lids. They come in 1/2 to 4 ounce sizes to adjust for which items you're storing. The tiny ones allow you to bring out just as much as needed for a day or 2.
