3D looks cool but DoomsDay device(another 3D initials) looked brutal. Even though they are not a tag team Zigzag claymore combo was nice tag finisher and That Lucha bros piledriver thing finisher is awesome too.
I love the Hardyz to death (like, they were the reason I got into wrestling and the reason I started watching again after getting to see their return aired live at Wrestlemania), but the Extreme Combination isn't really a true tag team finisher, imo. It's more of two amazing individual moves in a row. I'd consider the two man Poetry in Motion more of their tag team move, though they didn't really have a "true" tag team finisher like 3D or even Edge and Christian's Con-Chair-To. They had a different tag team style compared to most other tag teams, in that they were a tag team that didn't have to have both of them ready to pull off finishers in tag team matches.
There is one you did forget, and I personally consider it a classic: Chasing The Dragon performed by Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Riley as ReDragon (Kyle O'Riley lifts for a delayed brainbuster and Fish roundhouse kick before O'Riley follows through with the brainbuster).
That opening 30 seconds was exactly what it was like growing up for me. It was me and four of my brothers growing up in the same house and whenever we’d wrestle each other we always busted out some sort of tag team move to try and end it
"Either you and a buddy laid out someone's annoying little brother with a devastating double-team..." Yup, memories of me and a mate hitting a Bret and Owen Hart variant of Demolition Decapitation (side backbreaker/Bret's Rope elbow drop) on his little brother for a 1 2 3. Ahh, the days of "Don't Try This At Home" (But We Did Anyway!)
OK, it's not wellknown enough or had been used long enough to be on the list, but Cesaros and Thyson Kids Giant swing / low dropkick to the head combination always looked spectacular and devastating at least in Kayfabe as somebody jumps into your head while another guy swings you around creating extra momentum.
oh yeah i get that, the work they have done to make tagteam wreatling a main event thing, but with that said, the bucks to me are a comedy act everytime the are faces, i really like their heel runs because thats the only time you have to take them serious
I would’ve wanted Benoit’s Crossface and Angle’s Ankle Lock being applied at the same time too since they’ve done it before but it wasn’t used a finishing move even though it would’ve been perfect for them.
When I clicked on this video the first thing that came to my mind was that the Power Plex better be on this list. Power & Glory were so underrated and underutilized. They didn't deserve to be jobbers to the stars, they deserved to be champs.
Couple of finishers of note- The Midnight Express/the divorce Court- a sit-down vertical bear hug leaving the opponents chest and head exposed to a Bobby Eaton off-the-top rope leg drop. Badd Company- a Paul Diamond leg lock slingshot into a Pat Tanaka DDT. Badd Company- Paul Diamond full Nelson + a Pat Tanaka super/savate kick followed by an immediate belly to back bridging/pinning suplex by Diamond. The Hart Foundation- Hart Attack/a Jim Neidhardt bear hug followed with an off the ropes clothesline by Bret Hart
@@zeroryoko1974 yeah 3d got a bigger pop but doomsday looks how it sounds 300 lb man diving at ya throat piece from 10 feet up while on a 300lb dude is holding then flipping ya ass yeah that #1

I know they're seldom used as regular tag team finishers, because there aren't a lot of match types they actually make any sense with the rules in, but I really like combined submission finishers.
I watched a shoot interview with animal and he said if they won the match without using the doomsday it usually was because their opponents were too scared to take the doomsday
the Young Bucks Tag Tean move to me is not that cool at all and it is the same damn thing as the Indy Taker but with the flip not that cool way better tag team moves then that
I was just thinking about what tag team finishers were my favorites a bit ago, glad to see this. And personally, I'd probably say doomsday device, 3d and shatter machine are my favorites of all time
1. Lucha Bros. - Package Piledriver/Double Foot Stomp Combo 2. American Alpha - Grand Amplitude 3. MNM - Snapshot 4. Paul London and Brian Kendrick - Tower of London 5. Hart Foundation - Hart Attack 6. Imperium - European Bomb
The title should be Top 10 Iconic Tag Team Finishes. There are a lot more newer ones that are more flashy and or devastating ie The Gin and Juice or The LB Driver.
No mention of the meet in the middle of DIY...I mean c'mon that move looks brutal...having ur head sandwiched between a knee and a foot bot travelling at high speeds towards each other
Honorable Mentions: Hart Attack (Hart Foundation) The Snapshot (MNM) Meeting in the Middle (DIY) Chasing the Dragon (reDragon) Grand Amplitude (American Alpha) Some other good ones: Double Spalsh (Usos) Double Powerbomb (Acolytes/APA) Triple Powerbomb (SHIELD) Midnight Hour (New Day) Made in Detroit (MCMG) Force of Nature (American Wolves) Natural Disaster (The Naturals) High Times (Kronik) And even though it's not as iconic I also liked the Skull-Crushing Finale / jumping reverse STO combo from Awesome Truth.
I would love to see a version of 10. But then where one person superplex a opponent where his partner is standing in wait to take over the opponent into a powerbomb
I’ve never been a fan of a High-Low finisher, but, if Cesaro and Nakamura would do an uppercut/knee strike combo, I would be all in. One problem is it would be to similar to the Omega-Page V-Trigger Lariat.
Okay, I'll give it to Pacitti. The Doomsday Device was THE best Tag Tea m finisher of all time. But, I'm a bit disappointed in not seeing a couple finishers here. No Hart Attack? That move was poetry at the time. Niedhart holding the opponent while Bret hits a clothesline off of the rope? I marked out for that move. But not as much as I marked out for the Midnight Express. Two moves that could have been included in one entry were the Rocket Launcher (the opponent is down, and Stan "throws" Bobby from the top rope in a splash onto the poor sap), or, if that isn't tag teamy enough, the Veg-O-Matic. In the VOM we see Stan hold the opponent like he's going to give him a Giant Swing, lower him a bit as Bobby comes off the Top Rope with an Alabama Jam legdrop. THAT move looked almost as devastationg to me as the Doomsday Device. And speaking of which, how many DD's do you think the Mulkeys took over the years?
does anyone else remember the Team Angle Special #1 and #2? superkick/bridgeing german suplex combo or the superkick/reverse atomic drop jacknife pin. My personal favorite tag team.
I've always had a sweet spot for Harlem heat's heatbomb just looked painful crushing your body into the mat with a powerbomb while your head gets extra weight slammed on it simultaneously
Okay what about the Hart Attack, the Bulldogs' Gorilla Press and Diving Headbutt& Fireman's Carry and Super Diving Headbutt & from the MEX their Veg-O-Matic", "Flapjack" "Double Dion school boy/clothesline), "Rocket Launcher" and "Divorce Court" (for an armbar takedown).
You really put the spike piledriver over the Steiner DDT?!!! REALLY???!!! Also, I feel that The Midnight Express Veg-O-Matic is more impressive than the Demolition Decapitator, even garnishing a "Tag-Team Finisher of the Year" award
Every entry is correct. Also, I'm glad to see Power & Glory get some recognition. They were an underrated tag team
Meltzer Driver is overrated
The Beverley Brothers' Shaker Heights Spike is utterly brutal... it's a wonder no one died.
it's like a botched 3D lmao
@@dangerousd1312 Wow. This is accurate
Seriously, with a move like that, the Beverly Brothers should’ve been the greatest team of all time.

I had totally forgot about that move and now I am shocked they didn’t hurt more people
3D looks cool but DoomsDay device(another 3D initials) looked brutal.
Even though they are not a tag team Zigzag claymore combo was nice tag finisher and That Lucha bros piledriver thing finisher is awesome too.
Dolph and Drew’s Zig Zag and Claymore combo was definitely one of my favourites
Agree
UE’s High Low is great. It looks like it can end a match and can has like 5 cool versions.
"Made in Detroit" by MCMG is my personal favourite tag team finisher ✋👈
Oh ur from the GLS I see..
✋🏾👈🏾[Lansing]
surprised none of their finishers were on the list
Thank you Cultaholic for giving Power and Glory the recognition they deserve!!
Nothing for the Hart Attack??
Wasn't that great of a tag finisher to be fair when you compare it to any tag finisher on the list, especially the Doomsday Device
I have to agree. I actually prefer The Hart Attack to the Doomsday Device. For one thing, I'm pretty sure it was safer to take.
Tyson kidd springboard version is cool.
The Hart Attack is one of the best Tag Team Finishing moves ever,
Only move ever hit on Vince McMahon in a strip-club, should be number one
I believe the Steiners called their finisher the “Steinerizer” and I love that name
I know that the bulldog version is the Steinerizer but I'm not sure if they called the DDT one that too
Frankensteiner
3D is my #1 personally.
Total Elimination!
Extreme Combination is the tag team finisher name of The Hardys
I love the Hardyz to death (like, they were the reason I got into wrestling and the reason I started watching again after getting to see their return aired live at Wrestlemania), but the Extreme Combination isn't really a true tag team finisher, imo. Hangman & Omega's "Last Call" is a thing of beauty. My personal favourite.
Hangman and Omega are a thing of beauty
Claymore + zig Zag is one of the best finisher combination ever
The 3D is iconic. Crowds screaming "3D!" in arenas when they all knew it was coming after the opponent gets Irish whipped to the ropes.
Hardy Boyz splash and leg drop combo from the top will always be my favorite

Honorable mentions to the Hart Attack and the double Chokeslam by the brothers of destruction just because it was satisfying to watch.

Doomsday Dervice is mine.

Private Party: Gin & Juice.

With Shinsuke now I enjoy the thought of a Swing/Kinshasa combo
i hate the meltzer driver.... there i said it
You're not the only one
I'm not a fan of the bucks in general

Fair play to the Road Warriors - some teams would've used their finisher even if their opponents weren't sure about taking it safely.
