im not sure if all the positive comments on this video are trolling but the reason this worked is because he has an external microphone also plugged in. you can see it is even called mircofone for some reason. when he disabled his mic it auto detected the "microfone" option so this is why the audio quality did not drop. The real reason that discord audio quality drops is because most bluetooth head sets, espically ones not meant for gaming and dont have a boom mic, does not have the bluetooth strength to be able to output a voice while also pick up a input audio signal, thus the lowering in quality for the input audio signal to make way for the input mic over bluetooth. hope this actually helps yas, but chances are you may need tot look into getting a different headset.
Well, it happened the same to me. The thing is that I have a camera wich has a microphone, so I enabled it. My headphone's microphone is still not working

What if I want to use my bluetooth headphones' microphone? Is there a solution for that? When you change to the headset the quality instantly drops to walkie-talkie level.
@@Dizzpie right I have a pair that will let me use 2 channel with the mic then I have a pair that will only do 1 channel so it sounds bad when using the mic. Just depends on the brand and if it stays that it does 2 channel audio with mic I've learned haha 😆

no, cause the problem here is bluetooth itself. bluetooth sucks ass and it can't handle large amount of data. bluetooth can't handle simultaneous usage of audio and mic, so what it does is it switches to a different audio driver which can accommodate both mic and audio by cutting the audio quality to make way for the mic.

I used to be able to use my airpods for both lsitenign and talking and it would be fine but now its not
something else i just tried,if your headset had a usb type c plug in dongle,use that and it will bypass the bluetooth so you avoid this issue!
