ya man. i went there in about 1993, no one else but the Californios were there. I went again a couple of years later. nothing was built there. the people there treated me extremely well and I got to camp down there. Saw puma tracks and much more. the place is ludicrous. how did they paint all that so high up. the Californios, the people there in the little town who've been there since prob the 1600's with their own way Spanish culture as they are descendants of the first spaniards there, told me giants painted them. they said they found bones of them and were completely convinced. those people ain't liars like most of civilization. they were deep and generous. one time i was there and the water was abundant. another it wasn't and they were stressed, i saw goats dying. my friend talked me out of putting one out of it's misery and just letting nature take it's course. that was down in the canyons. we were on our own a bunch of the time. it was fucking wild. we didn't have much water but we left one of our two five gallon jugs of water with them along with some other goods. neat to see it all again....
