OMMMMMGGGGG I SPENT 15 min trying to land b+4 wondering with was wrong with my timing and input 😂 maybe u shud put a auto caption or add during the vid to save someone else from this pain 😂
Just to add, the thing he does before WS 1+2 is a crouch dash or his "Beast Step" in the command list. The uppercut is accessible from this move if you let go of down-forward before inputting 1+2, or if you hold forward. Doing this incorrectly might result in a snap uppercut, an orbital, a hellsweep, or a two-handed smash. This technique is better because it covers more distance than doing WS 1+2 from crouching, and can also be used as a mix-up for his other crouch dash/"Beast Step" moves
For people who may not know or might be confused , WS =While standing, is the same as WR = While rising, just diff terminology so that people dont confuse it with WR = While Running
If you want to maximize damage and combo difficulty, do a standing 2 jab instead of a standing 1 jab before the shining wizard as your combo ender. It gets 2 more damage than the 1 jab but leaves you with a smaller window to land the shining wizard. You can also increase the damage of many combo routes that use b1,2 for the tornado screw if you 2 jab, then do a quick dash right before the b1,2. That said, I generally don't think it is worth going for a jab into Shining Wizard unless you are extremely consistent with it; the added damage is just too small for the risk of dropping the combo.
Also, as a wall ender, after a wall carry combo, I like 2,1, f3, which you didn't show here. Damage is as good as other wall enders, but you get more oki options and wall pressure afterward. Execution is mildly tricky since you need to f,f,f,n,2 to get the dash into the 2,1 so you don't get the wrong move, but it is easy once you figure it out. For true max damage after a wall carry, you can catch them in a wall slump/grounded state before they can tech roll with a running exploder, but timing is inconsistent, and oki/wall pressure after is bad.
Fun combos and High Quality video for sure! One fun combo to try after atlas hammer: d1+2, cd (or dash forward) WS 4(make sure to hit while the opponent is high in the air), f1+2, d/f4,3,b1,2 run up 2 jab, blue spark isw really high dmg
For the down 1+2 section (81 dmg): ⬇️ 1+2, micro walk forward, 4, ➡️ 1+2, ↘️ 3 4, ⬅️ 2 1, ➡️➡️➡️ 2+4 If you can pull it off, do dash 2 before the running Jaguar bomb.
You can get 2 points more damage in the combos where you need to: run up jab > iSW; you can do 2 jab instead of 1 jab into iSW This also makes the iSW input easier as you can button buffer the 2 and just press 4 rather than potentially messing up the 2+4 input after a 1 jab

i must be tripping bruh, cause second combo seems to drop after f3 into b1,2. tried micro dash, delay and nothing, idk how it's supposed to land tbh. tested on xiaoyu too btw
@@empollone4192 whoopsie! I must've forgotten to double check that one on Xiaoyu. Switch the F3 to a n2 and it fixes it for her and does 3 less damage (65)
@@drongodyle3156 yeh that was my default universal route for db2, so nothing changed at all lol, but thanks for telling me anyways
GYAT
would be better if we could see the entire combo at once on the screen instead of splitting it up
What does star symbol and black arrow mean? Sorry total noob here.
‘Neutral’ so no input on the d-pad
Probably a topic for future videos, but how do you deal with spammers?
It seems like the lower ranks are full of people spamming string after string after string and I find it hard to get an opening. And I aint payed no 70 bucks to block for half a minute at a time >:3
Use your Power crush moves.
@@Kwisatz-Chaderach It did cross my mind but it seems like more ofthen that not I either get low-poked or 3-stringed out of them. Probably a me-issue though.
My very first Tekken video I made for TH-cam is called ‘How to deal with low rank spam’ so I feel your pain!
When ranked has calmed down a bit (all the super good players have ranked up) then I’ll probably record my session(s) ranking up to ‘Warrior’ with the mic and give some general guidance of how to deal with it!
@@Dizintegrator Youll get it. practice practice practice!
i'm seeing no one talk about fc df2, f1+2, df4 3, b1 2, fff 2+4 it does more damage than every other combo and it's not any harder
why are the same combos doing less damage on my practice?
to get the max damage you must focus on the ending "running jaguar bomb" (shining wizard) in which an instant shining wizard gives the max damage, indicated by the blue spark. You can practice this without the combo first if you need to by hitting standing 2 jab into instant shining wizard to get the hang of it
What does “star” mean, what button is it?
"Neutral" so release the d-pad
noob combo for yoshi please
What is ws
Damn he really blew a high-school girl's back
why the input are wrong so much???
Im gonna miss t7 ff1 combos
Me too *Sad Jaguar Noises*
Sorry to tell you bro, but I have a higher dmg version for each one of your combos ^^’ except for walls
In atlas hammer combo you can actually add dmg up to 86 without using heat, ch or rage
0:45
while his tekken 8 combos are cool, I already miss the FF1 combo’s from T7 😢
You and me both brother 😢
