I'd love to see an heirloom carry, something that was givin to you and it actually has sentimental value to you. I think those types of carry are super rad cause no amount of money can replicate that.
A couple of my usual edc items are heirloom carries. My multitool is from my dad, I have a hunting knife that I edc also from my dad. I have a small Bowie knife that I’ll edc from a family friend who was like a great grandfather, and a slip joint also from said family friend.
I would love a custom gear EDC weekly. Specifically, I have been getting really into custom SAKs and love seeing how creative people are getting with these awesome little knives.
As a fireman, I don't carry anything in my pockets at the station. It is a pain in the ass to dump everything out of my pockets to jump into my gear. Which in turn has transferred to me not carrying much in my pockets every day. I do carry a Shalkton from Tuff Possum gear where I carry all my EDC stuff. First aid kit (I have kids that are always getting cut or scraps), wallet, knife, TQ, etc. I would think it would be interesting to see what people carry who don't have EDC in their pockets. I know that this can be very involved because guys like me, who tend to have an outdoor-style EDC and like to be ready to jump into action when the need arrives. You could also do a whole episode on Kelso's pockets. Happy trails

Things like worn Titanium, heat bronzed steel/Ti/zirc items, frag patterned knives/flashlights, patina'd bronze/brass/copper, gadget's with levers/bolts that are over/under-sized, and items that have rugged tooling marks or operate with overt mechanically engineered mechanisms! Love the channel bro, keep them coming!
I'd love to see what people do with their SAKs. Between the thousand different models, sizes, customization options, etc it's a super versatile and utilitarian tool that can still have a personal touch.
I would love for you to do an episode on how to keep a bug out bag or edc ruck minimalist or lightweight. After I put in my raincoat, hoodie, fire kit, first aid kit, small solar powered power bank, Grayl water filter and fixed blade knife with a Maxpedition pouch with various charging cords and knipex pliers and a multi tool…..it gets a bit heavy. I don’t even put my normal water bottle in there because it’s so heavy. Anyhow, love your channel. Great work

I have been thinking about submitting something of my own with a black and metal theme, but it also includes found items, gifted items, and some sentimental items. Something along those lines would be cool to see and how other people incorporate those types of things into their edc. Another idea I would love to see is what other graphic designers/production artists carry.

I'd love to see a "my grandpa gave me this knife". Classic older knives or gear that has some nostalgia to it. Doesn't have to be worn, but some good oldies that still have life to them.
Since it's summer. A knives best for grilling uses theme. I've been looking for one to carry for grilling uses. Cut some slits into a hot dog. Cut a hot dog or burger in half for the kids. Something easy to clean.

Would be cool to see an office carry. I'm a mechanical engineer so I toe the line between a traditional office job and a more "tinkerer" carry. I've been working from home since 2020 but will be returning to office in a months and it would be cool to get some more inspiration for what people are carrying day to day.

I like that idea. I know when I started buying edc gear I couldn’t afford to fit a theme. I just bought what I could and sometimes it was a weird color that didn’t sell well originally that went on discount. So I ended up with a bunch of mismatched colors but still solid dependable gear
I currently EDC a 13cm (5.1”) slip joint Laguiole knife (Honoré Durand) with corkscrew and awl, olive wood handle in leather sheath with mini-honing rod. Living in the SFBA, unfortunately fixed blades are strictly open carry here. 🤔
Hello, seems like there is a strong push for heirloom carries, not necessarily ones you use regularly but ones you may boast about from your lineage. My grandfather owned an upholstery business and he had an old imperial knife and XX case knife. They are well used and at least one blade has the tip gone from I can only imagine a pry job gone bad. Another thumbs up for heirloom carry.
I haven’t been carrying most of my edc, because of my girlfriend who when she does the wash I forget to clear out my pockets. She refers to me as Dennis the Menace. I have to get back into the routine of carrying my edc. Keep up the great work and content!

Brass slipjoints, not necessarily brass but definitely a patina of some sort be it micarta, copper, leather etc. So why not combine the best of both worlds Slipjoints and Patina 💪🏽
My suggestion is Thumb Stud replacement options including low profile thumb studs. I need to fill a thumb stud hole on my Civivi Brazen with something super low profile.
My favorite color is green, so a weekly for green edc, I know there is green leather and scales for knives and copper could also be thrown in due to when patina happens it sometimes has a green hue. And of course some glow tritium could be used
I would personally love to see a handmade EDC weekly. Wether it be handmade leather organizers, hanks, or even knives, I just handmade items have a charm that is hard to find anywhere else!

When it comes to carrying a slipjoint IMO some are definitely above the rest if it's your only knife, my picks would be: A laguiole A Douk douk (I prefer the small) A SAK! I specifically like the spartan for a good balance of slimness and utility A Rough Ryder Reserve Bar Back! Next EDC Weekly? Traditional themed carries! France 1900, Italian 1950s, Cowboy carry, etc. Edit: Also the Serge Panchenko slipjoint razor!
I would like to see an EDC where everything in the carry is budget friendly except one item. So the juxtaposition of a $700 knife next to a $30 pen & $20 flashlight or a carry including a$500 flashlight next to a Civivi Ortis and cheap pen. (If by some miracle I win, I’d prefer the hat to the pry bar.) Thanks for being a significant part of my EDC journey.

Next EDC weekly should be underrated Carries. Things people carry that are extremely underrated. It could be a not very well known knife or brand or anything that does not get the love it deserves.
Id love to see a periodic table video where you try and find themed edcs based on metals that aren’t steel… like copper handle natrix brass pen or something exotic like tungsten i think thatd b so cool

Going with a few of the other comments here, an international legal/slip joint theme would be amazing to see. Its a bit of a limitation for us lot but we do have some great options that I'm sure we'd all love to share!
Hey Taylor! I think OG EDC would be a good theme. I'm thinking about EDC our parents and grandparents would have used. Zippo lighters, Mag lights, and Case knives are three that my dad used (born in 1941). Compare that to today's equivalent, like plasma lighters, LED rechargeable flashlights, and modern folders.
I think a well patinaed Micarta carry would be sick to see. Have been carrying my Micarta Giant Mouse Ace Grand and am loving the patina process. Going on 7 months of carrying it and enjoy seeing it every day. Would love to see how it patinas for everyone in different lines of work and walks of life.
User submitted carry’s under $150 or so, that way you get to see other people’s budget carry’s. Or a victorinox episode of user submitted carry’s. See what people like, what they use it for and what tools they find most useful. Or the Alox vs the traditional plastic handles?
You could do a weekday/weekend edc weekly, where people submit two edc's in one pic. One they carry to work and one they carry on weekends. It could be a lengthy video with a lot of stuff, but would be fun to see

I would like to see a country specific edc. Such as Chinese, German, British, USA, etc. All items from one country or area. It would also be neat to see a budget vs sky’s the limit from each country. The item that must included would be watch, knife or multi-tool, wallet or sling bag, and pen.

Couple of options, one being custom gear wither it be self made items such as leather goods, knives, tools ect.. or option two would be the most outlandish carry. I love to see veterans carries. Maybe tactical coyote tan gear or the new fad of FDE tan/green gear.

Crazy colors carry. Copper, micarta, Black, and green are nice and all, but crazy popping colors are underrated

I think it should be a theme, I think the one that sticks out is a space theme such as the Knaf Lander moon scale, etc.

You could do a weekday/weekend edc weekly, where people submit two edc's in one pic. One they carry to work and one they carry on weekends. It could be a lengthy video with a lot of stuff, but would be fun to see

I really want to see a military themed edc. It could be everything from modern era to as far back as possible. Service member edcs but I’d mostly be interested in finding items that pay homage to the military. Personally I’m asking for this to find anything a-10, Warhawk related

I would love a modded carry. I think you have done some in the past but the are just so fun to look at and see what unique and cool ideas people have come up with
I would like to see a country specific edc. Such as Chinese, German, British, USA, etc. All items from one country or area. It would also be neat to see a budget vs sky’s the limit from each country. The item that must included would be watch, knife or multi-tool, wallet or sling bag, and pen.

Couple of options, one being custom gear wither it be self made items such as leather goods, knives, tools ect.. or option two would be the most outlandish carry. For an example "What would a comic book villain with the phycology and style of both Jim Carrey's Riddler and Jack Nicholson's Joker in one character carry daily"
Honestly i'd really like to see a minimalist edc s. I think that we can see some really cool stuff and some interesting compromises couse building a minimalist edc is not easy. Anyway love the content and i really appreciate your time and love put in theese videos. Keep it up👍🏼

I don’t remember if you’ve done this before, but I think it would be cool to have a “self made” theme. Might put a spotlight on some makers we haven’t seen before and would just be cool to see what the community has come up with to suit their needs/wants.
