Cystic Fibrosis is a terrible, chronic disease man. That caught me off guard when you said that. I too suffer from CF. It has been a life long battle. The reason I have now been isolated to my home for over 550 days now with my family. Due to the current situation, it is critical to stay healthy as I only function on 25% lung function. Have to stay positive and live life to its fullest. Thanks for sharing!

Yep, being fighting it for 25 years, got a liver transplantation 8 years ago, so my life has improved a lot since then! Stay strong!

Back in the 1940's my father started to carry a madellion of some sort. I think it delt with his unit in WW2, not sure. By the time I was a teenager in the late 60's the thing was pretty much worn smooth. All these years later I still have it sitting in the safe. Funny how one thinks of things from the past like a worn smooth round object 80 years old. It was for him, his, not mine. Probably should have chucked it in his coffin as he was sent home.
I did the same. When my dad passed away me and my brother kept some items. I kept a old zippo lighter and I’d not use it I don’t smoke. It was just something I remember him always having so I guess I reminds me of him. I kept a lot of other stuff but those little items are special for some reason.
Nah, it’s right to keep it. It’s a piece of him that lives with you now.

There is no way I could carry this much "extra" stuff lol
On me at all times:
1. Phone
2. Wallet
3. Keys
4. Watch
5. Wedding ring
6. Knife
Sometimes I carry a flashlight, but my keys have a light on them.
Sometimes I carry a multi-tool vs. A knife.
Sometimes I carry a pen and maybe field notes.
better to have something and not need it than need soemthing and not have it as they say.
Dragonfly is the best small knife that still feels like a full and secure grip imo. There are plenty of small knives but honestly even cutting a plastic package with that can get a bit sketchy with the grip at times

Have you tried the lil' native? I never had an issue with it and it seems like it's a bit smaller than the Drangonfly.
Freaking love my dragonfly...it is a salt series...and I love it as a fishing knife. I forget it is there with how light it is, but know I'll never have a rust issue.

In defense of Sebastian, I served in the Air Force for a few years and they use different colors for different things, but black most of all. I don't know much about the other branches, but it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine that he has the colors for the special papers and an extra black just in case. Pencils are handy for separate reasons.
In defense of Ethan, I've been told that the more of one tool you have on an EDC, the less likely you are to be without if one gets lost or damaged. Ethan seemingly values having good light on him, and of all things to have a duplicate of, the flashlight is definitely one of the better choices.

Sebastian and Ethan are my people. I always carry redundant tools, especially knives. Some might say I carry "too many" knives. To that I say, "Mind your business." Which knife I use depends on the task at hand and the company around me. Working with horses there's plenty of hard use tasks where I use my fixed blades, but I also often work in the office and dont need to be opening letters with my Wrench Knife. Additionally, I work with a lot of kids/teens, so sometimes I decide to pull out the less "scary" (i.e. smaller) knives when they're around.
Oh, Mr Hermit, I have the same tin of Curiously Strong Mints, (mine has a small keyfob torch, a Bic lighter, a credit card multi tool, a sewing kit, and a tube of super glue), I have the same torch (well, I have two of those, one visible light, one UV) and the same skull beads. I also have a Zippo with a skull on it, but that lives in my 4x4.

I carry XXL edc😂, It comes from working nights in Seattle and selling knives for a few years.
I NEED my four essentials: gun, knife, flashlight, multi tool.
I carry two locking folders, a slip joint, SAK, bark river macvsog bowie, Malkoff body guard, glock 17 W/TLR-1, spare magx2, large can of fuck off spray, leatherman crunch with 1/4” bits, spare battery, meds, reeve tools, ferro rod with tinder, note pad, write in the rain pen, sharpie, keychain LM squirt, bic, small hank of 550 cord, duct tape, p38 can opener, wallet with, shims for door if I lock myself out, and a razor blade cause why not, glock tool, tiny measuring tape, whistle on my neck with some safety pins and another lucky p38 and a tiny spyderco bug.
That’s all I can think of without looking.
Oh! And a hanky.

I have solved the EDC mystery once and for all. Scott E Vest. You can put everything into this vest and wear it every day and it carries so comfortable and it looks great. Two knives flashlight pry bar keys AirPods notebook pen first aid kid and then some. I am not sure why more people do not wear an EDC vest
ScotteVests are awesome. I have one of the older jackets with what seems like dozens of pockets, and everything can go in them except a DSLR.

Hey Taylor. Recent subscriber here. I've come to love your channel. It's inspired me to look and work on my own EDC. Only thing is products here are double, sometimes triple what you'd normally pay here where I am (Barbados), so it's gonna be slow going. Whenever I do get my EDC I'll be sure to submit an entry. I don't know how guys get by with just pockets. I keep a screwdriver set with spudgers and guitar picks (I do a lot of second hand electronics purchase, repair and sale) and a pocket microscope (inspecting electronics boards and paintings at thrift stores), flashlight, tide to-go pen, brass bullet pencil, note pad, emergency sewing kit, narcan, miyoo mini pocket video games emulator, battery bank,slim simple first aid kit, tiny blutooth speaker/shortwave/weather radio, and a little pocket full of a hobo knife with fork and spoon, a scalpel, tweezers, and knippex wrenchy type pliers, and use a lot of it on the regular, i'd hate to have to pare it down to just what fits in my pockets, especially knowing narcan would probably have to be the first to go and...when you need it, YOU NEED IT (It's in a pouch together with rescue breathing shields, non-latex gloves, a finger oxygen meter, two inhalers and some expired vials of IM in case extra is needed) my phone lives in a holster on my purse strap. (it's a surplus i think polish paratrooper's satchel ive been

Enjoy watching your videos for ideas on stuff I can make in titanium and have visited EDCforums. I love some of the stuff people have to show but think it can get a bit silly. Honestly these are really just toys for adults not very practical to have 3 knives and multiple pins. Unless your going camping by all means cary extra stuff. A lot of stuff really looks like it’s never been used. I’m not carrying a 300.00 mini pry bar in Tamascus to remove anything. I do have a few things I cary because it makes me happy but that all fits in my wallet and have never used them.

With the pilot I can kind of see it. Flight suits have a lot of pockets all over the body, so it's easy to spread the load around.
I carry a SAK a spyderco delica four, a zebra F701 bandanna ,mace, a bic Lighter and a minimalist walet ...I thought that was a lot. Greetings from Eastern NC🦉

I was wondering if you would do a seasonal carry. How your edc changes depending on the season of the year. For example I stop carrying a flashlight after daylight ends since it is lighter outside for longer.

@Best Damn EDC I've been watching your videos for a while and I probably missed the one I need but I am starting my own edc and i can't figure out where to start or exactly what I need. I have always carried a knife and multitool, sometimes just the multitool, a handkerchief and pen besides my wallet but that is pretty much it and im looking to get more long lasting edc because much of what i have is on the cheap (15 or below)
For most of these I feel right at home. I don't feel like they're cumbersome at all.

- 3 ballpoint pens (one with smart-tech stylus point), 2 permanent markers and 1 black-wax 'pencil' and 1 'mini' write in the rain notebook, chest pockets
- 1 Husky folding razor knife and my cell phone, front right pocket
- 1 fixed blade 5-1/2" from walmart, belt attached at 9'oclock
- 1 Garrity inspector's LED light (with red and blue removable lenses), belt attached at 7'oclock
-1 Case Trapper folding knife, belt attached at 4'oclock
- 1 set of The Brass Knuckles Company "Stealth Knuckles", back right pocket
- 1 cheap walmart slim RFID wallet and 1 handkerchief, back left pocket
- 1 pair of Panama Jack black aviator sunglasses, attached on face or top of ballcap
- 1 hemostatic limb cord, (improvised) awaiting an actual set of tourniquets I ordered.
- 1 Colt Trooper Mk iii, .357MAG. + 1 speed loader, concealed
- 1 Daisy .177 BB pistol, (as a less lethal weapon), concealed

Can someone please explain to me the appeal of metal poker chips as EDC items? They aren't usable currency unless you're dealing with someone who knows what it is, and it has no practical purpose other than something to play/fidget with.

Hello, I would like to make a suggestion. But first I do want to say I love what you do and I love watching your videos! I have watched your channel for a couple years now and it’s great to see you always incorporating your community and truly caring! You definitely got me into edc.
Suggestion #1: It would be nice if the items you were talking about in the photo were highlighted. As someone who is not very well versed in the world of edc it can be hard to tell where the item is that you are talking about and I’ll have to pause the video to find it. Which just breaks the entrancement of the video for a second.
Suggestion #2: I think a bag edc weekly or extra gear edc weekly would be awesome. I carry my common use edc on my person but I usually also carry a satchel for my more uncommon situations that I still like to be prepared for. And I believe you would see a lot more niche and uncommon tools.
