the RSAF has had the Python-5 for a long time(just did not announce), together with its predecessor the Python-4. And the RSAF also have AIM_9X as well.

SG already have the AIM-9X and both of them are relatively similar in performance.

People who thinks that SGP is safe is just naive. SGP is surrounded by unlawful and corrupt countries and you don’t want to let these people walk over you without suffering serious consequences themselves. Common sense, every Singaporean understand this fact.

    • @danielc2701

Gravity. lol. Those were initially designed for the Sidewinders (AIM-9) but these days it is common to fit the AMRAAM (AIM-120) there instead and the AMRAAMs are a twice as heavy, hence it droops a bit.

What @paulcengbong3674 said + when they are in flight, they will tend to point forward because the lift will push the wings back up a little so its not problem

    • @jeidun
      @jeidun 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

the wings of the aircraft are actually pointing downwards by several degrees. no, its not because of gravity
the body acts as a lifting surface (Leading Edge Root Extensions + the little bit of flat body that goes along the side of the engine)
thats why the wings and nose droop down, to reduce drag! but the canted lifting body will have more lift too, i guess it's a compromise to create more lift but drag as well.
the f-15 wing and the front of the nose droops too, but incredibly subtly.
the f-35 has a super obvious line that runs along the nose, showing you that it's pointing down. the wing is also pointing down!

Not to mention one is fire and forget while the other is semi-active radar guided which requires you to keep your radar on the target before it can track.

The strategy is to counter attack from outside of Singapore while the iron drone defense system shields the country from any incoming hostility. It may be small but its air force can be launched from multiple overseas air force bases and strikes the throat of the hostile country.

I DON'T KNOW WHY....IDIOTS BELIEVE WAR EXPERIENCE AS IMPORTANT....A GOOD FIGHTING FORCE IS WELL TRAINED..WELL LEAD....THIS IS THE CASE OF US ARMY..IN IRAQ...THEY LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKES IN VEITNAM...OVER THE LAST 30 YEARS..THE US ARMY HV PLENTY OF WAR EXPERIENCE FIGHTING GOAT HERDERS....TRUST ME..THE US ARMY OF TODAY IS A NOT SHALLOW OF THAT IN 1992 ! 2 YEARS AGO..THEY HV SO MANY "ACCIDENT" BECAUSE OF OVER WORK MAN AND MACHINE AND INADEQUATE TRAINING !

They can defend their country from invasion as they have experienced it during the WW2 where Japan invaded and ruled Singapore for nearly 3 years.

which is why they will be getting the F-35B variant which you won't need much of a runway to take off, clear the skies, defend the runways and even if the runways are being destroyed, they can turn their highways into runways.
Singapore is so much more prepared for war than you'll ever think.

Singapore's air bases are a bit tougher than people realize. The British used to store nuclear weapons there as a 2nd strike capability and the runways were hardened to withstand a close nuclear blast so that the V-class bombers could still use them to lift off. It was called Operation Mastodon, you can look it up.

Which is why Singapore has many air bases around the world. Now you know why 😊

Sometime we wonder if the Singapore is the purchasing house for the mainland, strange, behaviour, since they don't have any enemies that dare to take on them with the United States, and the five power agreement...
