Both fascinating and important. It is wonderful to hear more about Victoria real life outside the standard historical facts, and the impact they still have on us today. Plus, the best way to fight the hateful idiots out there is to be able to challenge them with the facts of their little stories which they definitely never bothered to research. Keep them coming!

Can't say I enjoyed this any more than you did in researching crazy conspiracy theories that I was blissfully unaware of. I can appreciate the importance of your video in showing how such race theories are based on absurd and utter fiction. So please keep it up!

I don't think too many neo-Nazis are going to settle here, the comments on "logic" and the clear statements that they are not welcome should keep them away.

A great video and a subject I knew very little about. Also, I'm really interested in knowing more about popular fiction and fan followings from prior centuries. It's fascinating (and scary) to me that a story can go from celebrated fiction to conspiracy fodder to a brutal ideology in a few generations.

  • @nurmihusa7780

Seriously though, it is all interconnected. Just not interconnected in the way the conspiracy theorists believe it to be. What do I mean? It all springs from the overheated imagination of human beings desperate to find some easy explanation without doing any of the necessary homework. Sigh.

    • @songweaver8638
      @songweaver8638 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

I think it's also a useful tool of social manipulation because it's all too easy to convince people that they are secretly very special and deserve power over others. I hope humanity grows out of this.

I always enjoy whatever subject you are talking about each video. This one was really interesting too. I like history when told by a good story teller who makes sure of actual facts. I don't think you need to explain when you take extra time from new vids. Anyone who follows you knows what a hectic time you have been through while & up to, passing your bar exam. Life happens & it's not always smooth sailing. We are all here when you get back each time. I'm very sorry for the loss of your grandma. I am about the same age my gram was & also my mom when they died. Sucks. Wishing you a nice holiday season & a slower pace of life in the new year.

Very interesting and unfortunate, but there was a recent school sh00ting in nashville. The manifesto mentioned alot of the topics you spoke about in this video, specifically agartha. Your closing out statement was spot on and its incredibly sad how people become radicalized through ideas like these.

As a parallel topic, an examination of "British Israelites" might be interesting. For those who've not met it, it's a claim that the British are the "lost tribe of Israel". The theory had had quite a lot of proponents in the 19th century but seemed to almost die out in the 20th. I thought that when direct to consumer DNA analysis gave lots of people access to their DNA results that the "British Israelite" theory would finally die in the arse. That seemed to be the case for a few years but I've recently heard one or two people claiming that the British are the "true" lost tribe of Israel. (The version of this that is most popular links the chosen people with the settlement of the US. Some versions also then go on to link in Trump as the "son of man".) As with Agartha and Vril, the British Israelite theory is steeped in white supremacism.
I used to parody this as the "lost white lower 48 black native American Celtic tribes". There are quite a few versions and parallel versions of this particular belief system.

Yes please, more historic conspiracy videos! It sounds like Alexandre Saint-Yves took a trip to Agarttha on a vehicle of some substances lol. This also reminds me of the Jonas Brother song Year 3000 where people live underwater in the future. And also the stories behind Mormonism and Scientology with it’s sci-fi themes and use by white supremacists.

Victorian history has always fascinated me. I lived at 221 b Baker Street, at least in my mind, I walked the catwalks of the Paris Opera house and I've eaten the best pies in London on Fleet Street. I know they are fictional (except for Eric) but the flavours there. Alister Sims Scrooge, then there's the whole Queen thing but being American Victorian mostly means the olde West but my favorite Christmas style is hands down Victorian.

Just to add, other names for "vril" include aether, chi/qi, prana, life force energy, zero point energy, and radiant energy. The study of this aspect of quantum physics (called "scalar physics" by some) is not yet accepted by the mainstream scientific communities of the US, though this hasn't prevented many scientists across the world from doing so. It holds incredible, unimaginable potential for the complete transformation of our world, but it won't happen until the hearts of its peoples are elevated enough to allow its use.
One of the overwhelming changes we'll face is that fossil fuels will be rendered obsolete, thereby drastically shifting the power structures in society. If the hearts do not change, if leaders do not sacrifice their power and wealth for the betterment of the world, then this profound transformation, inevitable and unavoidable, will follow their own self-destruction. Regardless, the heart of the world will be purified, and that promised Golden Age, requiring no less than the spiritual regeneration and unification of the entire planet, characterized by the unhindered flourishing of the arts and sciences, free from the shackles of racial, ethnic, economic, political, and all other forms of prejudice, will finally be established!
Though "vril" and related subjects may sound wacky or scary, and may be connected to these secret societies of the past, one has to try to look beyond these outer forms and see the claims themselves for what they are. One has to try to see the light, no matter the lamp from which it may shine.

It is a very interesting book. And, although I didn’t get into it in the video, I believe that the reader is not intended to view the Vril-Ya as a perfect society. I’ve been fighting the temptation to make a video solely about that book, ha ha.

@AdelaideBeemanWhite I have read it and I am BAFFLED as to how those guys like the Vril-ya at ALL. Not only are the women physically bigger and kiiiinda in charge, they're described as NOT white. Along with the fact that their politics and culture is totally not what they aspire to. Heck, the whole time I was thinking of Vulcans, it was wild.

Since Agarthans are supposed to be otherworldly beings who live underground, I basically imagined them as aliens, like very thin and lithe and just uncanny looking, so it’s funny that nazis interpreted them as fit white guys like, where did that come from 😭
