Absolutely It’s not your mistake. We must educate the people (both genders) from school itself by sex education. Even I was abused by my relative girl when I was so young and now I’m realising I had been abused . It hits suddenly when we are doing our normal work.

I came across this video after the Kolkata Doctor rape incident. Part 2 throws valid pointers than part 1. Some of the valid points are
    1. Asking the female to ignore small abuses in whatsapp, social media etc that impends bigger crime like rape and throwing voices after the incident which in first place could have been prevented. I have seen in many foreign countries where the law supports immediate assistance to any form of inappropriate behaviour/abuse be it online, physical etc with real concern and respect to the people facing it. What if India enforces such laws against any form of inappropriate behaviour without having any sort of negligence/ignorance.
    2. Stalking - I cannot count the Tamil/Indian movies that fantasize coercing the girl into love/relationship by continuously stalking/pestering them. Young people who grow by seeing these things will believe the same. Movies in a way are influencing mob in a wrong way. Keerthi History also spoke about this beautifully
    3. Rape free world - I can only imagine the joy and freedom that female will have when traveling in train, going to other public places without sending location to anyone. I am stunned at this point.
India has lot of restriction in common places like school, college, etc for a boy to speak with a girl. But, in other foreign countries they dont have such serious social practices. But, they have lesser rapes and harassments than India. So what did India achieve by restricting interactions in school and colleges? The duty of the school is to teach values to overcome problems like this and not to avoid the problem by stopping the interaction.
Its high time to stop normalizing abuses, accepting or tolerating the crimes, and get rid off "Its how the world is. You stay away from it" attitude.
    Educate people!

    • @filmotive3519
      @filmotive3519 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

i actually does not support restrictions but your point about social practice of foreign country is wrong.. USA has higher rape percentage than india. infact india ranks at low in per capita of rapes.
The only way to do better is transparent investigation, strict punishments and strict rules.
no matter how much awareness we give to the society, such men and women will always try to rape.

I definitely wanna appreciate you for coming up with a topics like this. Movies TH-cam every one trying to get views by giving contents how most of the crowd want to hear or see. But ur giving really valuable content which is eye opening fr most of us. Giving different perspective to the judgemental society who hide around women to show what’s culture. Hat’s off to u girl. Definitely agree with all your perspective. I hope at least some of them would change there perspective through ur video. Being a women Am proud of you. I wanna raise my hand too I was abused numerous time in my childhood by numerous people and situations. I just couldn’t remember them but it feels like dream I felt that way now. Effect of abusing I normally walk by putting my head down. Many times men shows some sexual signs while u see them it hurts me sooo bad so I stopped making eye contact also wont look around due to that fear. Still I have such a fear.

Yeah I've been too... By an old aged man when I was 6 years, it took almost 20 years to say that to my mother & cry. But I learned to defend myself from such creeps at an early age due to my aversion. Till now I have a name among my friends & collegues that I'm a man hater, just because I keep such men (who try to approach me differently than a friend) at bay. That is the main reason I questioned about double standards on men & women. I learned one important concept is that abusers are not ready to come up in a lime light so shine it on them instead of breeding them as you said ananthi.

    • @pot8735
      @pot8735 ปีที่แล้ว

Being abused is such a worst traumatic experience a person can face in their life. Abusing a person is such a cruel and brutal mentality a person can have.. They have to die ! .
And i don't think ur called a man hater just because u avoid those people who approach differently than a friend (and i don't think male and female friendship is a stable thing or it exists maybe really rarely on some conditions, it's a different topic) I think it's because ur a feminist. I think most feminists are irrational coz they are ignorant of male and female biological and psychological differences. And i have came across many women who identify themselves as feminists are actually incapable of accepting their mistakes and then acting on their emotions. And most have no logical counter argument and then proceeds to keep on bashing the same irrational, illogical, non factual, unscientific arguments. And feminists like to have conversations with people who have no counter productive arguments coz they can easily be won but they are not ready to argue with factual and scientific things.
I've seen ur comments on different channels so i can get why u being called as man hater(misandrist). What u r questioning is not the double standards , it's the difference between men and women, it exists.
My stand is men and women are not the same And u can now change my mind .
And also we had arguments before and u failed to prove ur point and i had similar arguments with other feminists too, most did the same thing.

@@pot8735 thanks for your concern on abuse & killing an abuser is not the wholistic solution. But I disagree that I failed to prove my point. I walked out because you still think double standards exists just because the physiological & psychological difference between male & female. I dont know your definition on feminism, but I stand firmly at the true definition of feminism- its dont compel men/women to follow some stereotypes just because of their gender, just treat them as equal human.
Its clear you wont be changing your ideology & will continue to argue. But Be sure I wont change either, I will be a proud feminist & will always fight for equality for all genders.

I think u didn't know what double standard actually means. So prove me how double standard exists in a traditional role. Prove me wrong I will be a feminist the next minute. I too was abused when I didn't know what it is. I didn't know how to escape even though i tried when I understood because it was by... I was unable to openup and it took 26 yrs afterwards to communicate that too only after I was being told that she too underwent and i was heart broken... I couldn't even tell back... Me too until she asked if I had such experience. Just after this, i somehow with much mental pain communicated to a few others hoping to get relief. Later, when my ex was abusing me verbally, i didn't understand that it wasn't my fault.. I was trying to correct myself a lot to satisfy him even though i didn't feel i was wrong. I was feeling what wrong did I do that the person left me for about next 6 yrs blaming myself a lot. Again that shows how a person if abused at early age won't understand what is normal and tend to keep adjusting falling as a victim again and again. Yes, from school level itself this education needs to be emphasised from early childhood age itself. Of late only, i started seeing such experiences by similar victims and their feelings matched me. Then, i started working on my mind to stop blaming myself for someone else' mistake and repeatedly work inside to live my life happy and enjoy whatever may come.
Actually i feel one of the parents should be friendly to the children so that children will tell whatever happens. If both are strict but caring, child would not know to fight nor complain from fear of what if they scold and just keep on adjusting itself suffering more and more.

But both are not same. Like that, men are physically strong enough to work in mines, and women are physically strong enough to bear the pain of pregnancy and periods. Good one. It has been happening for years after all the strong laws we have in place. Only way to stop is by proper and strong education. We have to continuously keep spreading the message. The change has to happen from within. I sometimes wonder if it's something to do with biological structure or design of men. I myself a man and have a daughter. Never abused anyone so far. Women should be bold and should report any abuses immediately without worrying about the society and as a member of society we should stand for it

The video is so informative and an eye-opener to many ,
    But my doubts were
    1. There is a common fear that if you speak against the simple small incidents , like in a bus , if you raise your voice against the abuser , it'll gain you attention and there is a chance that the abuser could make you want to teach a lesson to shut you up and notify you and do something bigger than that , or it can make him feel ashamed but doesn't realise it was his fault but wanna teach a lesson to the girl and may assault her .
    2. Also not all assaults are done for a reason , Some just do drugs and just for the sake that they know that girl isn't gonna raise her voice they abuse her , this is happening, am I right?? , only when she's put into a life threatening situation or death , the abuse becomes notified otherwise it remains unseen , that's I guess what gives power for an abuser to abuse .

yes I was abused too when I was in 6th grade by an old aged man whom I saw as a grandfather, he had a fancy store, and I grew up passing by his shop everyday by bidding him goodbyes & greetings while going to school, till now I am not allowed to go out to any shops nor for a walk/cycling without any elders of my family and I'm 20 now.
and about the Rape free World -yes its one kind of a dream for me, as mentioned above I'm being watched by my parents with a damn tracking app. Like seriously I understand their worry for me ,but still isn't too much invading my privacy and like whatsoever. I feel like bawling my eyes out whenever my parents share their childhoods memories like playing with their friends, going to cinemas, travelling alone ,because of one incident and the state of this society many people like me are affected and missed making their childhood memorable by sitting in their homes.

    my tuppence on this crisis:
    a. all movies with love as one of the scenes- the hopeless man serenading or harassing a woman , stories, songs, etc - put a warning upfront before tobacco/alcohol warnings that their depiction of romance is not real and not to be followed
    b. put POCSO rule in the credits before the movie starts AND publish pocso in cities and villages
    c. make men & women understand that getting into these sort of relationships isnt 'love' - its just calculations that might go awfully wrong
    d. ill-educated population - not just talking of school or college gradn - the fact that most people dont read beyond the daily newspaper and magazines (that're sometimes filled with filth anyway) - they dont know their own native scriptures, etc to think of things and people beyond themselves
    e. girls should be clear that if the male they befriended ever ask for physical intimacy, break that relationship off immediately if they have dreams of marrying that person in the future. no mature fellow will ever ask for sex before marriage if he really respects himself and the girl. never too late to break a fall instd of going thru with it out of insecurity
befriending some male without family's knowledge itself is a big first step to disaster - so beware and get a life!
    f. the lawmakers/keepers - these pathetic scum will never do anything right to implement the laws - look at the # of politicians and police and bureaucrats that have raped and/or have their sons as rapists that got away - priya mattoo's killer, asifa's murderers, unnao, hathras, pollaachi, etc etc - the list just goes on and on.

The point here is, we see Respect in term of ATTITUDE....
Respect should be in the ways a person sees, thinks of you, treats you, how they speak to you, do they listen and understand to what you say, and more than that what is their persona when in their personal circle and you are around....it speaks a lot about that person.
Give respect and take respect seems very cliche when you think of so many of these aspects.

I think the biggest cause is porn and the availability of porn to anyone with a mobile in their hand at anytime. The more they watch the more the pervasion increases. Also the availability of drug and under the influence of alcohol. So if someone keeps on indulging in all these then what is the use of yoga, meditation and exercise.

The thing is he will be put to jail even if he is not an accust and after period of time he will be set free when "he proves" that he is innocent BUT at the same time she will be set free even after he is innocent, here she wrongly blame him eventhough no punishment to her.

    Just my perspective:
    Consider one special case,
Abuse pannavanga thirundha koodaadha?. Victims speaking out may be the last for them. If you are seeing the abusers living happily infront of you may be they could have changed or else they will reap what they sow. May be both the parties understands that don't waste time by thinking about the past, But very cautious in the next time and educate the same to children.
But that doesn't mean they shouldn't be punished for their mistake. But we all know "kaalam kadandhan needhi is aneedhi".

If you mean simp in the send that we are submissive then your words contradict yourself. Majority of Indian women have stopped simping...a long time ago. But if you still find some - be gracious and kind to them because they are from those part of the society who are experiencing the millenial version of the age old women discrimination.

Protect men too❤ According to Men are being raped! At the same time perspective of Men seeing women should be loved nd respected if it's in wrong way definitely teach them about it rather than growing or praise them in words of Nee Aambala da, avaluku laam idhan daa gedhi u gave her a lesson, Supporting them is worse way to promoting this type of mEn. Atleast grow our future Boy Kids in good way❤make them know Equality..
