my grandchildren are the fifth Generation in my family who love Neil... My mom's mom, my mom, me and my nine siblings, my children (7 of them! - not to mention the zillion cousins! :) and my 5 (so far) grandchildren. . My mom was killed by a drunk driver 17 years ago, and my dad died last year after an "OOPS" in a surgery... Dad knew he was going to lose the fight (or win it, depends on which side of the coin you look at here) and he asked us a short time before he passed to teach him "that song from Neil Diamond that your mom used to sing all the time so that I can sing it to her when I see again" -- he had missed Mom for 16 years after her death at the hands of an 18-year-old drunk driver. He had my sister teach him the song we all love so very much, "Hello Again", and I know it was sung in Heaven by both my parents.. I love Neil and his music, and thank him for making my dad's entrance into Heaven a more pleasant experience for us, his children and his grandchildren left here behind. Again.

Found this one - It's different doesn't include Frank Sinatras song as well. This one is just as lovely as the other one. Now I'm not kidding on this Gloria--you have the magic touch--far more advanced than myself.
He maybe a singer. But he did not impress me on the song. This song belongs to Susan Boyle. Susan surpassed Neal by thousand on miles. And that's including Elaine.
Because Neil Diamond's voice is not operatic like and closer to what any person can sing, his rendition of the song is so believable. it is also a great choice for him as the song is ballad like, like his own song compositions. I think he did a great job, and a convincing job in singing the song like he is telling the story of the song from his heart.
