  • FLEXible Take-off is an assumed temperature takeoff where the engine thrust is reduced to match the performance on a higher-temperature day, up to either the maximum thrust reduction allowed (reduction not more than 25% of the flat rated thrust) or the maximum assumed temperature that meets takeoff distance requirements and other required performance parameters.

Sir what is flex temperature like it's the ambient temperature entering the engine or what? If flex temp is less what will happen & if more what will happen?

Flex temp is an assumed OAT. It involves a particular calculation by use of RTOW charts and corrections as necessary from aircraft related documents. Lower value of flex temp gives higher thrust and higher value of flex temp gives lower thrust.
