I love how people are saying "2 days?? I'm not getting this game it's too short!" Well, he did play it for 24 hours straight, and is basically a professional gamer. Not to mention the numerous hours dumped into beta that allowed him to already be skilled in the game as soon as it came out. Also, the fact that he still wants to play the game after maxing out is a positive sign.
+My Name He will stop playing it within a week at this rate. There is something to be said about the actual level process taking some effort and time but everybody now wants it instantly. Seems like it might be a trend to just give people max level and make game design decisions so that your level doesn't actually matter.
+My Name I like how you're being vague as to who said " 2 days" when you can just point out who exactly said it. Be skilled at what exactly? Shooting from cover to cover and run around shooting like every 3rd person shooter? He already had the skill to play this before he ever touched the beta. The genre and gameplay is fairly generic.
+Jebediah I don't see any point in singling anyone out. Multiple people have exhibited similar sentiments, regardless of whether they explicitly said "2 days" or not.
+Jebediah it's naive to think you're immediately as good as you can be the moment you start a game, as opposed to after hours and hours of playing it. Having genre gaming experience helps, but so does have experience with the specific game.
My Name I never said "as good as you can be". The gameplay in division isn't innovative, different or new. If you've played 3rd person shooters in the past and you like that genre; you'lll do just fine on here. So when you hop in you're already good enough to tear through the game easily.
Huge help. I haven't hit 30, I'm at 27 but my Dark Zone level is 13. Now I know to get to end game before I try to tackle more of the Dark Zone. Great advice to break down instead of selling. Thank you.
Thank you! Really helpful. It amazes me that it’s become business as usual for core game developers, in general, to simply never explain how anything works beyond the bare basics. So thanks for doing what you’re doing!
This was very informative. I'm now level 30 rank 35dz and me and my squad stayed level 29 as long as possible to grind in the dz to rank up before hitting level 30. Primary reason being the NPC enemies are far more difficult to fight in the level 30 bracket. You won't have to grind quite as long if you stay below level 30. Also you'll find that you get level 30 drops when you are below level 30 that you can stash until you level up. All this gives you ample opportunity to gain the most credits and funds before they're harder to come by. That's it for me, just a small tip... wait for level 30 so you can afford all the gear available to you.
Everyone on TH-cam spamming The Division videos trying to get a piece of the hype pie, but very few videos are actually helpful and informative like this one. Thanks for this. Just hit level 30 and now have a better idea of what the hell I should be doing. THanks man.
3 things you didn't mention (maybe didn't realize) about the high end blueprints that you can buy. 1) the ones purchased in the safe houses in the darkzone cost an additional 3-5 division tech mats on top of the high end mats compared to the blueprints purchased in the base of Ops which do not require division tech mats (though the Base of Ops only refreshes once every 7 days and it's currently unclear whether they can have the same blueprints as the DZ vendors 2) The high end blueprints (at least all I've seen) purchased in the DZ are only iLVL 30 compared to the ones in the Base of Ops that are iLVL 31. When crafting you need to take into account the iLVL and only worry about the iLVL 31 blueprints if you are trying to make yourself more powerful 3) when crafting for that 'prefect' piece of gear consider getting 'close enough' with only 1 stat being off compared to what you want then recalibrate that stat. From what I've seen the recalibration process (though it gets more expensive with each attempt) is pretty fair with actually giving you 4 random possibilities to choose from so it's not like other games where you are stuck with 1 random roll.
+Jacob Sorensen Your point 2 would validate the part of point 1 where they would then not be the same item crafted - this of course assumes the iLvl matters in the item generation code for the range on bonuses The recalibration is the same as the Enchanting in Diablo 3 (gives 3 options, but from the pool and not always 3 different ones)
Jacob Sorensen while i admit 1 iLvl is miniscule...its something at least. So the iLvl 31s are going to be better...but they're stupid expensive for the early attempt to grab them. I'd go for the 30s first, then the 31s while im bored
You say break down greens and blues, which would give green and blue parts, but from what I've seen it's yellow parts that you'd need to make the yellow gear.
+James Catchot An easier way is to farm for division tech which is special crafting items found in the dark zone. It only takes 2 division tech to make yellow crafting items instead of say, 5 blue weapon parts or whatever.
Thanks dude u were extremely helpful I was having a hard time for a while and thanks to u I have all yellow gear and weapon .... Once again thank u and stay awesome
Holy shit force endgame gearing already... I feel like I'm the only person left on the planet that likes to stop and smell the roses and just take in the scenery that these developers took along time to create!!
Great vid, here I was thinking I'm hot shit with my 8,000 dps primary at level 15 lol those stats in the video are nuts. I can't wait to get to this endgame content.
is it only me that has not reach rank 30 yet cuz i been collecting all the things i can, doing every single encounter and side mission and finaly soon im done with em, just a handfull more.. Seams alot players just race for 30 and end game gearing.
+Aluzard actually most people who hit 30 have every 3 wings completed which required all encounters to be done. So don't assume people are just rushing shit and ignoring everything else.
You do not need all encounters to finish the base I just finished the tech to 100 and still have 3 full areas of events with tech encounters on the map.
When I saw that he got 2 high-ends in one drop I wanted to cry. I have over 2 days played and the only yellow drop I got was for an awful red dot sight :'(
I feel it's more rewarding to just do challenging missions rather than DZ boss hunting. you get 30 credits per completion and it takes about 45 min per mission and there is no cap on how many you can do. matchmaking for a full team and a party chat = best way to farm golds & phoenix credits
Beware-- you don't want to break down EVERYTHING, most of the crafted gear that you make you will want to try and salvage by adjusting some of the stats via the Recalibration station which requires basic credits, I would recommend breaking down all blue and greens, most of your purple gear but check your vendors for which pieces sell for the most and dump just a couple of them on the NPC that way you also have a steady flow of basic credits coming through, THEN you break down the remaining purple. Be safe out there, watch your bum the DZ is a vicious place now with the recent update! PS. Scavenging (knees & masks) and Increased Kill XP (body and knee) stats are your friend.
Not 30 yet but did you know there are item level 31 items you can get? Scroll to the bottom of the info on the item and you will find it. There is only item level 31 stuff from the tech wing not dark zone vendors. I heard there is a bug where you can't scroll down, on pc, to find it on computer but I have been unable to test due to a work trip. Great channel love the videos.
Can't believe he's this far. To people saying it only took 2 days, please realize he's dumped probably 40 or 50 into the game. I've been playing since Tuesday and I'm lvl 10 because of lack of time. There is plenty to do, its just how quick do you wanna go through it.
I got paired with a random group of four (im a solo) and we beat all daily missions including challenge all on the first try. Plus we beat the challenge mode a couple times
Hey man great video! I noticed your high end blue prints you can buy have much better stats than the ones in my vendor (e.g. your weapons base damages) ... Was just wondering if you know why this is?
In case nobody has mentioned this, farming Phoenix Credits in the DZ isn't very lucrative after the 12 Mar update. Instead of named mobs dropping 12-15 credits, they now drop 1-3. Challenge modes are the fastest way to grind PCs.
+Force Gaming Another way is to just farm the hell out of the Lincoln Tunnel mission on Challange mode. Guaranteed yellow drop at the and plus Phoenix coins.
Do note that the blueprints in the phoenix vendor in the base of operations sells are lvl 31 (item level). That means they are potentially more powerful than the DZ vendor because I believe theirs are lvl 30.
Is the "scavenging" bonus broken? I have roughly +200% scavenging and have yet to get a yellow drop...while my friend with only +20% has gotten 4 in the same amount to time
Been trying to find this info everywhere.. Thank you. I've been breaking everything down because from my many mmorpg experience in the past, crafting is always the best way versus buying from vendors. But I have heard from some players that because crafting is randomized stats, what are the chances of you actually rolling a gear with lower stats than one you can buy?
Is all High End gear already maxed out? In other words if I obtain a Yellow item is the roll the only thing I have to worry about? I might not be asking this right... Is there a High End "leveling system" also? For example, will a "High End" weapon I find at level 30 be outclassed by a weapon I find after being level 30 for a while? Is that what "Gear Scores" are? A weapon with a higher "gear score" will have better stats?
+Avery Shelton Don't do it solo, I beat every mission at level 24 ended up being level 26 from all the exp though but I did it with 3 friends and they all started at level 21
I love how people are saying "2 days?? I'm not getting this game it's too short!" Well, he did play it for 24 hours straight, and is basically a professional gamer. Not to mention the numerous hours dumped into beta that allowed him to already be skilled in the game as soon as it came out.

Nice video Force. You covered a whole lot of information in a very concise and easy to follow manner. Great work, as usual.
agreed! hes done a great job
"Purple is the new Blue" - The Division
+KitMellow more like WoW
Very helpful. I'm all of Level 5 right now, just started last night. But I'll put this into practice soon.
3 things you didn't mention (maybe didn't realize) about the high end blueprints that you can buy.

The recalibration is the same as the Enchanting in Diablo 3 (gives 3 options, but from the pool and not always 3 different ones)
CyberGenesis from what I've seen iLVL does make a difference in quality of the rolls (or rather, possible highs are higher and lows are higher)
Jacob Sorensen while i admit 1 iLvl is miniscule...its something at least. So the iLvl 31s are going to be better...but they're stupid expensive for the early attempt to grab them. I'd go for the 30s first, then the 31s while im bored
guys he did a 24 hour stream of the game, that's why he is already so far ahead
This video actually answered all of my questions about getting high-end weapons, thanks!
Great video! You've been putting in work.
Just when i got used to yellow or high end gears, right then the game introduced the green and red items
I am really enjoying this game so far, but ill tell you one thing. I am no where near level cap lol
You say break down greens and blues, which would give green and blue parts, but from what I've seen it's yellow parts that you'd need to make the yellow gear.
+James Catchot You combine green parts to make blue parts, and blue parts to make yellow parts.
+Force Gaming thanks. guess I hadn't looked into the crafting enough.
+Force Gaming I didn't know this.... thanks
+James Catchot you can make one yellow crafting item from 5 blue :)
+James Catchot An easier way is to farm for division tech which is special crafting items found in the dark zone. It only takes 2 division tech to make yellow crafting items instead of say, 5 blue weapon parts or whatever.
I'm no where near lvl 30 haha I love this channel
I second that notion
Thank you for your help. You cover the information I wanted to know in a time effective manor.
Thanks dude u were extremely helpful I was having a hard time for a while and thanks to u I have all yellow gear and weapon .... Once again thank u and stay awesome
Thanks Force!!
I wish you'd make a video about what gear is the best to buy/craft and from where, each slot and maybe multiply options
awesome advice, thanks Force!
I've just hit 30 and this is useful, thanks Force
Holy shit force endgame gearing already... I feel like I'm the only person left on the planet that likes to stop and smell the roses and just take in the scenery that these developers took along time to create!!
k
+Eric Nick k
+Skipper Skip k
+Paul Masters game doesnt end at "endgame" it just begins. you will have plenty of time to take pictures of the scenery...
+Paul Masters your not alone, got the game 2 days ago, only lvl 9.
Just started division as destiny is slowing down. this was very helpful.
Time for the real grind!
Cool. I am level 28 and still nervous what endgame was gonna look like. This gives me an idea of what to start doing soon.
thanks I subbed because you actually explain stuff. unlike tritan army and other youtubers. hopefully u don't become a click baiter
Video still usefull after all this time, thanks ! Some things have changed but it still helped alot.
Thank you very much for this great and early summed up video!
thank you so much I was wondering how to make the yellow
this is very helpful. thanks man.
I stopped playing for a year great video explanation man
Converting Materials, Hold Spacebar and Tap Esc.
a higher drop chance also comes from the scavenger perk on your gear. kinda like how diablo did its magic find
force is really good in everygame his the game master! lvl up for him is a peace of cake!
Great vid, here I was thinking I'm hot shit with my 8,000 dps primary at level 15 lol those stats in the video are nuts. I can't wait to get to this endgame content.

+Aluzard Nah I'm doing the same thing every collectiable and every side quest, I'm 25 now and have 3 areas left.
Might also mention the "scavenging" bonus that increases the chance of better drops :)
YOU CAN REPEAT CHALLENGE MODE QUESTS FOR 20 MORE PHOENIX POINTS EACH TIME, AND ALSO STILL GET THAT GUARANTEED YELLOW DROP
+Joe Ehnow this^
+Joe Ehnow But the end boss doesn't drop loot after the first play through, correct?
+KingCraze22 he does. run general assembly hard he will every time
Joe Ehnow and you don't have to quit right before the end?
+KingCraze22 no lol
When I saw that he got 2 high-ends in one drop I wanted to cry. I have over 2 days played and the only yellow drop I got was for an awful red dot sight :'(
Tip: Make sure the crafting recipes you get make gear item level 31 because they give better stats
I feel it's more rewarding to just do challenging missions rather than DZ boss hunting. you get 30 credits per completion and it takes about 45 min per mission and there is no cap on how many you can do. matchmaking for a full team and a party chat = best way to farm golds & phoenix credits
Great info. Thanks Foss.
Would also like to add that high end recipes bought with DZ credits are item level 30, not 31.
Nice Force that is a keeper to when I get max lev
gonna start on this right after the maintenance. bought the pahkan already :D
Beware-- you don't want to break down EVERYTHING, most of the crafted gear that you make you will want to try and salvage by adjusting some of the stats via the Recalibration station which requires basic credits, I would recommend breaking down all blue and greens, most of your purple gear but check your vendors for which pieces sell for the most and dump just a couple of them on the NPC that way you also have a steady flow of basic credits coming through, THEN you break down the remaining purple.

can you go over your talents/perks in a video
Not 30 yet but did you know there are item level 31 items you can get? Scroll to the bottom of the info on the item and you will find it. There is only item level 31 stuff from the tech wing not dark zone vendors. I heard there is a bug where you can't scroll down, on pc, to find it on computer but I have been unable to test due to a work trip. Great channel love the videos.
What is the Shade Tech item dropped @ 1:35 in the video? I got this drop and have NO idea what its used for..?
+Robert Patchell Its just a quest item. it provides no use
Can you do were how and were to get lock picks
Thank you! I love this game.
This video is awesome and helpful. Thank you!

I got paired with a random group of four (im a solo) and we beat all daily missions including challenge all on the first try. Plus we beat the challenge mode a couple times
how do you get so many pieces of crafting materials from breaking things down i only get from 1 to 2 blue pieces from blue and purple items
Great video, thanks.
if you're in the dark zone do you drop the Phoenix credits when you die or will you keep them?
+SFR Gaming You keep them. if I'm not mistaken.
Scavenging Bonus on Gear will help you get more/better drops. Still at the mercy of RNG, but whatever tips it in your favor is nice.
What sniper is that? Can you made a review over your player items?
You can also have the change of getting/crafting lvl 31 items, so the min/max gets more lengthy I guess.
thx bro, this info is solid
Is there a high end M60 blue print? that has been the most fun gun I've used so far. very sad when I had to break it down.
So would you suggest just breaking down gear to get fabrics instead of selling them to vendors ?
Super helpful thanks a lot
Hey man great video! I noticed your high end blue prints you can buy have much better stats than the ones in my vendor (e.g. your weapons base damages) ... Was just wondering if you know why this is?

+Force Gaming Another way is to just farm the hell out of the Lincoln Tunnel mission on Challange mode. Guaranteed yellow drop at the and plus Phoenix coins.
+Magnus Nylander I cant find people that can do them yet
I converted high end yellow gear at the crafting station. What does it become?
Scavenging is "magic find" right? So i would assume having a higher Scavenging % would help for drops.
great video force. give us moooar man
Great vid force!!
Wait, did you get the Vector later on the stream? Nice!
I got the" Caduceus" dropped while farming the Bullet king at Autums Hope, is it good? Or should I stick to my SMG and Sniper loadout?
thanks man really helpful!!!!!
are you going to do this aswell for bdo? cheers
nice guide, thanks
are the first wave version of the gears the best versions?
perhaps they need something like what they got in the new metal gear game, add base manics for either the player or for guilds
Tyvm great guide I learn lot :3 please keep it up !
The vendor that sells the pakhan in the base of operations doesnt refresh
he refreshes the blue or purple things but not the yellow things for me ...
Should have new stuff on the 12th
Solo tips? Waiting for my friends to catch up..
(great video)
Do note that the blueprints in the phoenix vendor in the base of operations sells are lvl 31 (item level). That means they are potentially more powerful than the DZ vendor because I believe theirs are lvl 30.
+BleedRainbows Correct.
So then we got blue, then purple, then orange? Where have I seen that color order before?
you can convert the colors
Is the "scavenging" bonus broken? I have roughly +200% scavenging and have yet to get a yellow drop...while my friend with only +20% has gotten 4 in the same amount to time
Been trying to find this info everywhere.. Thank you.

Ill leave a thumbs up and a comment
lvl 20. should I covert everything now to gold? from 5 blues to make 1 gol
d it's going to 15 to make 1.
Got the Midas from a boss. Love that gun.
Also crafted a High End extended mag and for +92% mag size awesome stuff.
Great video
Is all High End gear already maxed out? In other words if I obtain a Yellow item is the roll the only thing I have to worry about?
I might not be asking this right...

Nice video keep it up!
I actually have to take breaks from this game. When you play on hard it can last awhile lol
+Brando Williams on hard or challenge? because hard takes like 5 min solo, and challenges take me and my group like 15 min
+dylan20072001 arnt you cool
Michael Meredith Well, aren't you salty
+Jodi -The Division- main dps?
Cunter 3 of us have over 200k dps each, and i run with 89k hp and taking aggro
Group up for the Dark Zone. Watch out if you are solo. Lots of 4 man rogue groups.
How do you recommend beating missions in level 26+ levels for players at level 20ish solo
+Avery Shelton Don't do it solo, I beat every mission at level 24 ended up being level 26 from all the exp though but I did it with 3 friends and they all started at level 21
Great video, thanks Force:=)
what shirt do you use?
thx m8 for the info
Should I save up the phoenix credits or use them up now( level 19)
+ClemClemNation HD u can only use them at 30
