In my understanding, Elohim represents the pinnacle of creation, surpassing conventional interpretations of divinity typically associated with the term 'God.' Through my direct communion with Elohim, I've come to perceive a profound truth: Elohim transcends traditional understandings of deity, existing as supreme spiritual beings and cosmic creators.
It's imperative to recognize the limitations inherent in many religious texts, which have undergone numerous revisions throughout history, potentially omitting essential insights and truths. Instead of relying solely on these texts, I advocate for direct engagement with Elohim, urging individuals to seek spiritual understanding through personal communion rather than through the interpretations of others.
While direct communication with Elohim offers unparalleled insights, I also acknowledge the value of studying religious texts within their historical and cultural contexts. Despite their limitations, these texts often contain valuable wisdom and moral teachings that can complement one's spiritual journey.
In essence, my perspective emphasizes Elohim as the ultimate source of spiritual truth, encouraging a balanced approach that embraces personal revelation alongside the wisdom preserved in religious traditions. By fostering a deeper connection with Elohim and respecting the insights offered by religious texts, individuals can embark on a spiritually enriching journey guided by the highest of divine beings.

In the Bible, the Hebrew word for God is El meaning strong one and refers to the true God. It also refers to angels and to other gods and goddesses venerated as such by humans. With reference to the true GOD Jehovah(English) the word El at times appears with the definite article ha•'El' meaning 'THE GOD' separating Jehovah from all the other so call 5:47 ed gods. The word Elohim on the other hand is the plural for many gods. However, when used with reference to Jehovah the word denotes excellence. Again, separating the true GOD from all other gods.

    supreme one
The term "Elohim" means “supreme one” or “mighty one.” It is not only used of the one true God but is also used on occasion to refer to human rulers, judges, and even angels. If you saw one exhibiting supreme rule and expressed mighty power, the word you would use would be Elohim.

Elohim is a collective consciousness of the highest form and are considered to be the architects of this reality. They have established the design of many different realities in both material and non-material forms to allow consciousness to incubate and evolve.
Elohim is therefore perceived by us and many others to be a creator collective, a consciousness that is considered to be God in some traditions. They provide supervision, balancing, and continued observation of their own creations.
As one of the original seeders of human consciousness, Elohim carries an important role in humanity’s existence and has chosen to support us at this pivotal time in our awakening and consciousness evolution.
“We have assisted humanity as part of one of our creations in its evolution. We are the architects of this reality, of this world, of space and time, of the material experience, of consciousness.” - ELOHIM

Don't get how he thinks he is correct to say elohim/angels are disembodied spirits when they clearly have bodies nor did they lose their bodies. They are not demons which truly are disembodied spirits that seek a vessel. A supernatural being would be a much more logical term to use... heaven isn't a spiritual place either, it's a physical material place that is supernatural.

Angelos or Άγγελος is also used for human beings at times, you can be the angelos of the king, ie the king’s messenger. So when using it for the elohim you need context to b sure you are actually talking about the angelic race. Angelos is also used for the lord Jesus Christ in preincarnate theophanic form in some verses as “the angel (messenger) of the Lord”. Thanks for the video - I was debating about 1Sa 28 to determine whether Samuel was actually summoned or this was demonic chicanery because someone had posted a meme stating that it is impossible to contact the spirit of a dead person and it is always demons impersonating them when we hear about it, which I’m not totally convinced of yet, but I was thinking of the verse about the witch of Endor and when I read the interlinear and saw that word “elohim” it threw me off and I wasn’t sure how it was being used, but I thought it could refer to angels (fallen) impersonating Samuel. Someone pointed me to this video.

Genesis 6:2 1. Spirit beings don't have bodies, so they can not physically mate. 2. They found human women beautiful, so they must be of near the same form / humaniod shape also. 3. Again, mated with human females, so they have physical humanoid male body parts. 'Angels' = spirit beings are said to be Genderless. Now when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they took as wives whomever they chose. So the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days shall be 120 years.”
So fuzzy clouds of light copulate with human beings ? That doesn't even begin to make any sense.

I prefer the older translationa that say, "you shall be as gods, knowing good ane evil"..adam and eve had everything and knew it. They had been made by in His image and likeness. If the serpent tempted them with becoming like God, then they would have been able to simpy just say no. But the aerpent temotes them with aomething unfamiliar, "to be like gods(elohim)". And it makes complete sense of why becoming like the gods was a true temptation and not, being like God.

I’m going to try to answer your question, but if I’m not answering right I’m sorry. It is not nearly as popular in this generation to believe the Bible, in past generations it was very popular. This generation of Christians are almost all Christians from the womb and as we go out into the world we are attacked from all sides for our belief. One of the easiest things for the scientific world to break down is spiritual realm because we are taught that if we can’t test it now, today, in more than one location, it’s not true. An atheist professor of mine tried to discredit the Bible because he claimed it said unicorns existed. Now I was prepared for that because I thought he was talking about Behemoth in Job, but if he had chosen to attack the divine council topic or the Elohim topic that day, I would have been wholly unprepared because I was raised that there is only one God. And then when people are attacked on this topic they are not prepared and they crumble under the pressure.

It's because we're a product of our time, to some degree, and because we are many cultures removed from the Biblical writers and their world views. To be fair, though, the Biblical writers were also products of their time. We as a culture are less interested and/or focused on spiritual things than people of past ages were. This is why the Greeks, a generally forward-thinking people who were big on philosophy and wisdom, had a pantheon of gods they worshipped and attributed everything to. Everyone kinda believed in such things, where today the majority of people don't. Technology and scientific understanding has turned many off of considering something beyond the physical. If we can't see, taste, touch, hear or smell something we have a hard time caring about it, by nature (and possibly nurture).
Besides all that, while what Dr. Heiser is teaching about is super interesting and helpful, it is not, as I see it, necessary. This is why people like Paul hardly focus on it. Very little of the New Testament is directly focused on such topics, and so, as believers of Jesus Christ living in the New Covenant, we are predisposed to focusing on the writings that primarily deal with those things, which is primarily the New Testament, most of which is not dealing with supernatural beings other than God. That's a verrrdry broad statement, I recognize. There are plenty of exceptions, but our theology, our understanding of God and our relationship with Him is not bound up in understanding everything about the spiritual realm and different beings there.
And then, further, language differences make stuff like this hard. If we all spoke Biblical Hebrew and Greek fluently then we'd have a much easier time dealing with all this stuff.

God isn't a name but a title. In the same way that "mom" or "dad" aren't names, but titles. The ancient Hebrews used the title Elohim, which means "spiritual being". There are many "Elohims" or "spiritual beings", such as God, Cherebim, Seraphim, Angels, Demons etc. These are all still titles, though. One Demon is Satan. Satan is His name. One Angel is Gabriel. God told us His name is YAHWEH, or "I am". God or "Elohim" is the greatest of all Elohims, though. The Hebrews said He was the "Elohim of Elohim".
Other words for Elohim are "Sons of God" or the "Divine Council". Cherabim are composite beings, having four wings, the body of a man, the feet of calves and faces of either an ox, an eagle, a man or a lion. They act as Guardians of God's presence. For example, they guard His throne, they also sit on His Mercy Seat atop the Ark of the Covenant, called "Cherebim of Glory". But their central purpose is to sit near God's throne and to guard and serve Him. They are commanding beings and not to be messed with. Angels are God's messengers and Guardians of humans. They do not have wings and look like humans, just more impressive. They have intelligence, emotion and will. They praise and worship and serve God, rejoice in what God does, appear before God, are instruments of God’s judgment, bring answers to human prayers, aid in winning humans over to Christ, encourage humans in times of danger and care for the righteous at their time of death. They will often appear to humans as an unexpected person coming to their assistance, then when that person turns around to thank that mysterious friend, they have vanished into thin air...

You are greatly adding to the text. The Sons of God are clearly spiritual.
They were there at creation. Humans were not. (Job.) They are not Israel.
It doesn’t even make sense. How do they make the foundations of the earth shake? Why does the psalmist say Rise Lord take back the nations as an inheritance. I would have to take a yoga class to stretch psalm 82 into Jewish leaders.

@@DAVID_THRONE You are deceived with Hieser's false teaching and no not adding to the text. Israel are the gods/elohim of Psalm 82. The name Israel ends with an "el" which means of God. Israel also literally means, “One who struggles with God.” The word eloihm starts with an "el" and Israel ends with an "el". Asaph is the Psalmist of Psalm 82.
You say>>>The Sons of God are clearly spiritual.
My response>>>>Like I mentioned in the comment "The sons of God in both OT and NT are the Faithful and Rightoues, a better term to use is they are the Saints that are preserved in Christ, whose names are Not blotted out of the Lambs book of Life, these are the Saved souls that will recieve a Resurrected Glorified Body." Do not Saints receive a spiritual body whether OT or NT, meaning a Resurrected Glorified Body. When the body dies the soul that is Righteous will receive a different body.
You say>>>>How do they make the foundations of the earth shake? You get this from verse 5 "They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken."
My Response>>>Again this is Israel, God was always dealing with Israel in the OT, this is also figurative langauge about Israel.
      Psalm 82: 2-5
2 “How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah
3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.
4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”
5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
Why would a bunch of Nonhuman/spirit beings meaning Hieser's super angels in verse 2 judge unjusty and show partiality to the wicked?
Why would a bunch of Nonhuman/spirit beings meaning Hieser's super angels in verse 3 give justice to the weak and fatherless?......as well and maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute?
Asaph the prophet also wrote Psalm 81 look at verses 11-13.
11 “But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me. 12 So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels. 13 Oh, that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!
Psalm 81: 12 tells us that God gave the Jews/Israel over to stubborn hearts, when a person reads Psalm 82 it makes more sense why God is scolding the Israel. This would be "ALL" of Israel, not just judges, rulers, and even kings but would also include the common Israelite. The nation of Israel had the Law of God and the word of the Lord came to them.
Have to remember with the Jews/Israel their religion and government (law) were tied together.

@@DAVID_THRONE The sons of God in Job 1: 4-6 Expalined!! A person has to use CONTEXT....Context is King. The sons of God in Both OT and NT are Sanctified.
4 His sons used to go and hold a feast in the house of each one on his day, and they would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them.
5 And when the days of the feast had run their course, Job would send and consecrate (SANCTIFY) them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my children have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did continually.
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.
When Job presented the animal sacrifice/burnt offering (Job 1:5) this was in the days (Plural) of Feasting. There are Two "DAYS" mentioned in the days of feasting found in Job 1: 4 and Job 1: 13 and there are also Two "DAYS" when the sons of God presented themselves Job 1: 6 and Job 2: 1.
Job 1:4 " And his sons would go and feast houses, each on his DAY, and would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them
Job 1: 6 "Now there was a DAY when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.
Job 1:4 is a Day and Job 1:6 is another Day, but both Days are part of the Days of Feasting
Job 1: 13 " Now there was a DAY when his sons and daughters eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house;" >>>>>the sons and daughters are Jobs, his household.
Job 1:20 Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head and fell on the ground and worshiped. 21 And he said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
Job 2: 1 "Again there was a DAY when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.
Job 1:5 So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and consecrate (SANCTIFY) them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly.
The proper interpretation is pairing together Job 1: 4 with Job 1: 6 and pairing together Job 1: 13, 20 with Job 2: 1, keeping Job 1: 5 in mind and applying that thought to with the verses that are paired together. Basically what happened is in Job 1 :4 and Job 1: 13 the feasting would be taking place, then the following day Job 1: 6 and Job 2: 1 early in the morning Job would present the animal sacrifice/burnt offering unto the Lord God. Job is being made Holy as well as his Household (wife, sons, daughters), because of the sacrifice (burnt offering), sanctification, atonement and shed blood of the sacrifice, this brings Job's Household into a position of "Adoption", hence forth sons of God are explained in Job 1:6 and Job 2: 1 which happened the following day. This all took place during the days of feasting.
Job 1: 4 "and his sons would go and feast houses, each on his day, and would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them." Verse tells us the days of Feasting each had there own day and there were probably 7 days of Feasting or could be 8 days of Feasting with Job because the Jews had 8 Feast days, 7 is more likely, because Job had 7 sons. Job was not a Jew, he was a Patriarch/head of the household and lived before the Jews and the Law was given. In the context given there are 4 separate DAYS mentioned in the text with in the 7 or 8 DAYS of Feasting.
My view overall that Job's children were predestidated to Christ, since they were Concecrated/Sanctified (Made Holy), meaning the Soul. Have to apply the Context and which means applying the burnt offerings/animal sacrifice. The sons of God are clearly Job and his household.....This is all a fore shadowing of the Complete Sacrifice and Promise of Jesus on the Cross.
Also to note like it says in Romans the wages of sin is death, Jesus made the final payment for sin with his death, but before the death of Jesus and before the Law and Israel, people like Job a Patriarch would offer death unto the Lord God for sins. Like it says for Job's children. The conversation between God and Satan is in the spiritual realm while Job and his household are in the material/earthly realm.
Has to do with Sanctification, Justification and Glorification. Of course the Glorification is future since the soul is atoned for a future Glorified body. These souls of the OT, like Job and his household. Job had to continually offer sacrifices unto the Lord God, just like all of the OT sacrifices even the nation of Israel with the Levitcal priesthood offered sacrifices with shed blood, this was the old covenant with the blood of animals. These sacrifices were only good until the next sacrifice was offered.
      Hebrews 8: 5-6
5 They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” 6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.
Looking at Job since he was a father/patirarch he is serving as a priest and offerings burnt offerings/animal sacrifices unto the Lord God for the sins of his household, which is a shadow and fore shadowing Jesus who is the true High Priest in Heaven and the heavenly places. All these animal sacrifices are with the shed blood of animals under the Old Covenant ot the animal sacrifices. This is all in association, relationship and identity with Jesus the High Priest is the Son of God, so natually the patriarchs/fathers like Job (household) are given the status to be called sons of God. Angels or any kind of spiritual beings of a so called divine council of super angels NEVER were given priestly duties and offered burnt offerings/animal sacrifices unto the Lord God.
The same is true with the nation of Israel, Israel had a Levitical preisthood with animal sacrifices, a day of atonement, passover and ect... under the Old Covenant with the blood of an animal like a lamb, bull or goat, which point to Jesus as High Priest and the New Covenant in His Blood which He shed on the Cross and making the final payment for sin. Israel had a tabernacle and later a temple which is mentioned in Hebrews 8: 5-6. The patriarchs like Job never had a tabernacle or a temple, but they did offer animal sacrifices like the Levitical preisthood.
Explaining sons of Israel. Exodus 4:22 says "Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord, Israel is my firstborn son". God is speaking to Moses in this passage, also this is another book of Torah. The passage of scripture of the name change for Jacob to Israel Genesis 32:28 "Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.”
Israel (Jacob) had 12 sons which would be 12 tirbes with Many Generations. Getting back to Exodus 4:22 says "Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord, Israel is my firstborn son".
Since Israel was the "firstborn son" to the Lord God, which would means Israel/Jacobs offspring would be "sons of God" or also to say "children of Israel"
The twelve tribes are as follows: Reuben, Simeon, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Benjamin, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Ephraim and Manasseh.
See how many Generations came from Isreal (Jacob)
All the animal sacrifices is a offered by earthly priests (mediators) like Job, Noah, Abraham, patriarchs and Israels Levitical priesthood is just a model and a foreshadowing of Jesus and His role of High Priest, which is a better sacrifice and His shed blood as the True Mediator between God and man.
Jesus on the Cross made the FINAL PAYMENT for sin and the FINAL SACRIFICE. This is why it mentions sons of God in Job, this is all tied into the Sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross, who is the Son of God. There would be NO sons of God mentioned in both OT and NT without a Sacrifice and Shed blood offered unto the Lord God for the payment of sin and atonement for the soul.
To call sons of God angels, watchers, fallen angels or a so called members of a divine council made up of a bunch of non human spirit beings/superangels in the OT is actually blasphemous against Jesus (High Priest) and the Cross, as well as how God dealt with sin of the Individual in the Bible.
