Hello again to all our subscribers and a huge welcome to any new faces! Today we have a driveway that is full of weeds and has never had a clean. Lots of lichen & blackspot too. This one was very satisfying, seeing it return to it's former glory. The customer was extremely pleased with the results and didn't think it was going to clear up anywhere near to how it did. Another happy customer :)

Great job, just a quick one why didn't you go straight for the turbo lance?

I normally do but I wanted to keep the dirt spray to a minimum as I was very close to other properties, using the fsc gets up most of the dirt without spraying it around then I can bag it and get it out the way.
I can then just quickly go over with the turbo to get the rest of the lichen and some of black spot off without making to much of a mess 👍🏻

She’s sooo cute 13yrs old and one of her back legs doesn’t bend but that doesn’t stop her 🥰, me and Claire are big dog lovers. If a customer has a dog , half the time at the property is fussing the dog 🤣

When bad weeds do you ever use some glyphosate on a job a couple of weeks before cleaning, so it doesn’t come back as quick?

I don’t mate, I wouldn’t touch that stuff personally , it’s banned in alot of countries as it causes cancers.
The hypo treatment at the end will kill off the roots, I then just tell the customer to use Acetic Acid Concentrated Vinegar on the drive to prevent weeds 👍🏻

I have a question mate...would it not be better to spray weeds a few days before clean....surely they just grow back?

I never use weed killer , to many regs when using it as a business.
Customers can use it before if they want but the hypo I use at the end will kill the roots, I then tell the customer to use this ( amzn.eu/d/0ELdgtX ) and to add some salt to it.
Its better for your health as it’s Glyphosate Free

No need for me to do the Pa1/6 as I don’t want to be using weedkillers especially ones carcinogenic and linked to cancers etc ( any with Glyphosate in basically )
Rather just stay clear 👍🏻

You are better with a petrol jet washer far better machines. And for a few hundred pounds more than the nilfisk .
