Pulkovo Airlines Flight 612 a Tupolev-154M was a flight from the city of Anapa to Saint Petersburg, Russia. On the 22nd of August 2006. Carrying 160 passengers and 10 crew members with 115 Adults and 45 children. Along with 5 flight attendants and pilots. For a total of 170 people onboard. There is a video of a vlog in Anapa while the plane was still on the tarmac which showed Pulkovo 612 roughly 40 minutes before the crash. (The Tupolev-154M crashed at 15:38 PM local time 35 minutes after takeoff from Anapa)
The crash was fatal as it killed all 170 passengers and crew onboard. In Ukrainian Airspace. Which was the 3rd most deadliest accident in Ukraine behind Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 and another accident.
The investigation ruled that the pilots actions of putting the plane in an extreme climb. 46 degrees to be exact at high altitudes. Was the initial cause of the crash. The plane climbed to 39,000 ft or FL390 and started the stall after the disconnection of the autopilot was done manually.
The plane's max ceiling height was 11.9 km or exactly 39,000 ft.
Soon after the stall the plane started to fall into a flatspin or tailspin. Which in T-tailed planes is impossible to recover from.
Also it's worth noting on Flight 612 plan from Anapa to Saint Petersburg. There was only one line of thunderstorms on the flight plan but there were two thunderstorms in the vicinity of Pulkovo Airlines Flight 612. After clearing the first line they had 100km of clear sky until 50km or 26 nautical miles ahead a second line of thunderstorms not on their flight plan appeared out of nowhere. The plane was too close to the thunderstorm and subsequently went through it. It was at 38,000 ft. Or 11.6 km.
As the plane was in the flatspin which I will further discuss later. The plane is a Tu-154M registered as RA-85185. Would be descending at 12,000 ft a minute. Impact the ground at 15:38 PM local time. All 170 passengers and crew were killed from Blunt Force Trauma.
There were 3 key factors into this crash that came into play
1: The Weather conditions as cold fronts were moving in from the west carrying not ideal weather for flying. As said before with two lines of thunderstorms with one on the flight plan the other (the one the plane flew into) was not.
    2: The TU-154M flight performance
The plane had Max ceiling height of 39,000 ft or 11.9 km and since the plane was at that flight level. The speed was slowly dropping
3: and primary cause of the crash human error. The pilots actions is what caused the crash.
As a result of the crash Ukraine held a national mourning of the Victims on the 23rd of August moving it's independence celebration to I believe the 24th. Russia would do the same, one day later.
A flatspin usually is basically a plane spinning around it's COG (Centre of gravity) and usually happens on T-tailed planes like the TU-154. In fact similar accidents like West Carribean Airways flight 708. Would result in 160 deaths in that accident. It's something you can never recover from. Because, the elevators, both stabilisers and the engines are in the back of the plane behind the wings it gives off a shadow region behind the wings with no airflow it is something as said you can never recover from.
The Tupolev 154 was still flying in skies up until 2013 but I was told there is one 154 still flying for the minister of defence in Russia in 2020.
This crash was a tragic story considering it was all avoidable. May all the victims on Pulkovo Airlines Flight 612 rest in peace and also the plane RA-85185.

There aren’t any better alternatives though. Using a low res Russian documentary for those clips would result in a very short video.
