Not just that, UK embassy in India has never been attacked in the past yet India provides them with 3 layer advanced security with CRPF commandos, Delhi Police. They have high walls & barricades & bunkers & half km wide no entry zone & whatnot.
But Indian embassy in UK has had a past of violence. It has been attacked by Pakistani goons they broke the windows & forced their way in, it's diplomat was once killed by a Kashmiri militant, now Khalistani separatists are attacking it taking down our flag. And UK doesn't provide any security. No 3 layer security, no barricades, no walls, nothing. It's literally on a busy street where people just walk by & only 2 policemen are there for show who do nothing when an attack is going on
What will UK do if tomorrow an armed militant attacked Indian Embassy & killed everyone inside? Or there's a hostage situation? Or if someone threw a grenade or molotov cocktail inside? Or if someone just entered the embassy, vandalised everything & stole sensitive documents?

    • @hitmanabhi007

Yep. FTA is a big bargaining chip India can use against Britian in current scenario. UK has worsening economic crisis. Each day there are news of either energy crisis or cost of living in UK and PM got hammered by that. FTA with India is more beneficial to UK now than India itself.

They have already started getting that lol. I am currently in UK and I see that they are not that 'rich' anymore. Depleting reserves, lack of national manufacturing, agriculture, more than 70%+ items are imported. Now add up the worsening energy crisis, record breaking inflation with cost of living biting any middle class Brit family. And final nail in the coffin is immigration which has been highest in legal as well those boats of illegal migrants which has illetrate and mostly radical muslims.
The country is literally turning into 'sh1thole'. There are more illegal immigrants than the Brits themselves at cities like Bradford, Birmingham and more. And that is not only me saying that. Most Brit will agree that their country is on the verge of damnation.

I am a big supporter of Modi's government foreign policy BUT here are some points to think about-
    1) This is not first time that security of foreign mission has been removed. It was done in case of US also before 2014. So lets not beat our chest with pride.
    2) We all know that foreign missions in New Delhi are situated in a high security area. A lot of foreign missions are in one area. So this type of India's response(removing security) will not make any difference.
    3) Foreign missions in Europe usually donot have any police security. Many times these are located in public places eg. markets. I know this because I live in one top tier European country and here Indian embassy is situated on a market street. So it is not nice to blame UK for providing no police security to Indian mission.
    4) In my opinion the main issue with the case in UK was not the absence of police at Indian mission. Issue was that police didnot arrive when all that started. This is quite unacceptable and should not go unpunished.
    5) India need to repspond in some other effective way. Removing security will not make any difference because the embassy is situated in high security area in New Delhi.
    6) it will be good idea to put pressure on UK governemnt to identify all whose who were involved. if there were Indian citizens, Indian government should revoke their citizenships.

It's an eye opening event for those Indians who were so happy for Rishi Sunak for becoming UK president .
Whatever respect and care the whole world is showing towards India is only due to our present powerful center government of PM Modiji. Only he can take strict actions for the betterment of our country,

This is more to do with Pakistanis vs Indians than British vs India

Nah there's no Pakistanis in this case or the whole picture, it's terrorists and UK who is supporting them openly

It's happening on British soil so it's UK's responsibility. You will allow anyone to enter your country & do violence & drama?
If a person enter your home & start fighting & destroying the peace of your home, it's your responsibility to kick him out & take action. Because of this UK-India relation is taking a hit because UK is not doing anything against these extremists.

Well in some embassies in NewDelhi are just the 1 or 2 gaurds outside the entrance. I don't believe if any sudden attack happens there would be enough security.

those embassies are not much of imp countries in other way those countries doesnt have enemies .....

    • @ProfessionalRacist007
      @ProfessionalRacist007 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      1. Those countries are not of much strategic value(they're not our defense partner, trade partner, etc) like US,China, UK, France, Japan, etc
      2. There are more than 200+ countries in the world, we can't provide top level security to each embassy & each of it's staff
      3. Those countries you're mentioning. Their embassies don't have any past of getting attacked. So no security because there is no real or perceived threat. But Indian embassy has a past of getting attacked from Pakistanis,Kashmiris & Khalistanis. Still no security to Indian embassy?
      4. UK treats India as a strategic partner. We have good trade & defense agreements. We have many Indian origin people in UK & India's importance on global stage can't be denied. But UK didn't provide India with the necessary security despite India providing the same to UK embassy in India & Indian intelligence even told UK that we will be attacked.
      5. Say for a moment UK hates India. Even India hates China & China hates India but both of them provide top level security to each other's embassies. Few days ago Tibetan people went to the Chinese embassy in India to protest, the police there stopped them a km away from the embassy & detained them. So this is a lesson for UK. Even enemies provide basic security & UK calls India a friend & fails to do that
