Great video as always man. Bertie is probably the most iconic non-rail character in the series. I do have a character suggestion for a future Model History video who I don't think has made the polls. Since you've covered Duck and Oliver, I think Toad deserves a chance to be in the spotlight.
they would only be cousins if they was built by the same people? any way I am surprised to learn what type of Bus Bertie is actually based because I had believed he was basis was free lance
With every non-rail character covered, we get one step closer to getting videos on Jack and his crew, can't wait for those episodes! Maybe they'll be the next mini group after the Ffarquhar crew.
3:02 I Think The Close Up Model Was Used For The Other Bus In The Depot Facing Backwards From When Thomas & Bertie Met In The Episode "Thomas & Bertie"
Nice one and an iconic one too. I'd say do Bulstrode next despite the fact he only appeared once, but not for one of his faces being used a couple of times on a truck.
If I'm correct, Jack and the Sodor Construction Company used remote controls, so yeah, I'd assume Terrance, Bulgy, Bertie, Caroline, Elizabeth, and George, did too.
surprised to see that his last appearance in RWS was 1986. also you said that up until series 22, he was the only non-rail *character* (not vehicle) to appear in every season, but what about the Fat Controller
I’d kill to see an episode on the troublesome trucks as I’ve been longing to see someone cover all of their models
Or the driver and fireman

I can imagine how Bertie and Bulgy’s relationship would be like since they’re cousins.
What? Are you serious, I didn't know that.
its always bulgy's turn on the xbox because his mom said so

😨they are
So who's older
Bertie has always been an amazing character :)) I think you should do the history of Hank next :)
Bertie's theme is, in my opinion, the second most iconic classic series theme after Thomas.
With every non-rail character covered, we get one step closer to getting videos on Jack and his crew, can't wait for those episodes! Maybe they'll be the next mini group after the Ffarquhar crew.

Very nice video, glad u finally covered this guy.
Babe wake up, new Trainboy Model History video
“His name’s Bertie, he’s in the UDR!
Hoo-ar, Hoo-ar…”
I thought you already covered Bertie. I guess I thought wrong here. Well done covering Bertle.
Imagine if Bulgy and George were picking on Bertie for being so close the railway, then Caroline defends his honour.
Nice one and an iconic one too. I'd say do Bulstrode next despite the fact he only appeared once, but not for one of his faces being used a couple of times on a truck.
Ngl I’d kinda like to see the breakdown train (the coach too!)

Bertie was always a delight. I'm glad to hear he appeared in every season, he deserved it.
"I'll catch Edward or bust!"
= Bertie
I honestly never knew bertie was in like every season. I can actually only think of his appearances in seasons 1-5
Was there two models of Bertie? I always wondered that since in his debut episode you can see one in the garage behind him
I love busses, vintage busses are great, and bertie is amazing! Wonderful info!
Its buses you're welcome 🙂
@@Melody_Ninjago_Lover thanks, I am not the best at spelling!
I love his model!!! ❤️❤️
In the hit era fter season 9 i believe bertie was fitted with an eye mechanism.
He was fitted with it during Season 7, as he's rolling/moving his eyes on screen in "Three Cheers for Thomas".
He gained eye mechanism by the 7th season. In Hooray For Thomas, his eyes are moving.
Nicely Done!!!
I wanna see more of they layouts and set aswell as building and scenery
I never really understood how the road vehicles ran, I’m assuming it was RC but like it’s always puzzled me
If I'm correct, Jack and the Sodor Construction Company used remote controls, so yeah, I'd assume Terrance, Bulgy, Bertie, Caroline, Elizabeth, and George, did too.
Hey trainboy I have an idea of another model train that is closely accurate to edward it's the lbsc b4 tender locomotive
If this is anything like what happened with the crane videos, you'll do Bulgy next ;)
I would love an episode about any obscure character
3:09 That is cursed
I'd love to see troublesome trucks next please
Can you do the express coaches next?
surprised to see that his last appearance in RWS was 1986.
also you said that up until series 22, he was the only non-rail *character* (not vehicle) to appear in every season, but what about the Fat Controller
Hey, maybe after you're done with the Fharquar crew, you can start on Jack and the construction crew.
@Trainboy Season 7, bertie gained an eye mech.
How did they make berties eyes move in the great discovery
in magic railroad bertie was the only character show his driver since there are no figurines are on any sets is the film
Didn't Bertie gain an eye mechanism in Season 7?
I think in season 8, Bertie gained an eye mechanism
No plans for TUGS next?
Berties model is certainly an underrated one
Can you do Bulgy?
hi train boy can you make one on molly please
Our long live ground vehicle in Thomas and friends,Bertie the bus🚌.
How about Whiff
that would be cool
Could you do Harold next
I'd Love to see Bulgy next
You should do Trevor The Traction Engine for the next video
It's a shame Bertie turned out to be a racist on twitter smh his career was better when internet didn't existed
About time
I want to see told the break van!!!!
am i wrong in thinking that i thought this was already done?
I thought he had an eye mech around season 6 or 7
Can you do Mavis next?
Bertie always looked absolutely ridiculous to me, and as a result, I think he's a brilliant character
harold the helicopter for the next history of
I wish someone knew where his model was
Very iconic non rail character indeed, my personal favourite other than Harold.
I loved Thomas and Berties relationship!
How about the history of sir Toppham hatt
I hope there's one of Caroline
History of molly
But how does he move?
Very kool 🚂😎👍👍
I used to have a Tomy Motorized Bertie
B: I lost another race, and Thomas bragged about it again.
Ter: Well, I know a way to get under his skin. Did I ever tell you what I said when we met?

I wonder how bertiememes would think of this
1 like=1 bertie
B U S
Fun fact: in Polish dub Bertie is "she"
Wait wasn't bertie female?
Could you possibly do bulgy?
