The unique saline endorheic alkali lake near Osoyoos BC: Spotted Lake. The visually stunning circles look incredible from the sky; from a drone, and here I revisit the spot that I first made a video about in 2015. It contains deposits of minerals ranging from calcium, magnesium sulphate, titanium, silver, and sodium sulphates. The Okanagan Indian Band own the land as it hold cultural significance to First Nations in the area.
Thanks for watching!

This video was Spot on. Love the drone view ! 👍👍
It's great to see it from the air. I've only ever seen it when driving past it.
Wow!
Truly mind boggling to see
And that first vídeo in Spotted Lake was how I first found your channel. It’s been quite a ride! Thanks for being there!
Cheers from Portugal! 🇵🇹
Wow, very interesting! A very unique lake indeed.
Beautiful video Luke and Nina.!:)
Thanks Emily
Your welcome Luke and Nina.!:)
Thanks for the update
Haha, the footage is a lot better now!
@@lifeofluke yes very much better.
I've heard about the lake but never been. I had no idea it was best to see it at the end of summer. Perhaps I'll swing by there this month.
It’s on indigenous land. I don’t think you can just go on it hence the drone footage.
Song choice 👌🏻
One of my all time favs!
Been here thanks Luke!
😂 I just drove by it 2 days ago. Very cool!!
Great footage. Even better song choice 👍
I love this song, and the music from the 90's, so good.
👍
And 'One Headlight', you're a pro...
A classic
That's crazy! Looks like mitosis.
Where did you live before BC if you dont mind me asking?
Alberta briefly, but was raised in Ontario.
Luke you came to the land you love with all of our mountains. I could never live anywhere else. We have the best place in the world here.
Looks like a natural free-base operation....
