Summer I have watched your channel since the beginning. I look forward to seeing each post. I did want to share a suggestion. I am an older woman. I have old eyes so it takes me a few seconds to see what you are holding up for us to look at. If you hold it a little longer would be very beneficial. Thanks for the info on the cover story blankets. I agree I would probably get the big bulk rolls instead because of all the nots. Big thank you. Keep posting.
Thanks for your honest review. I'm not really good at thick yarn but that looks pretty. And the knots would annoy me too. Prayers, love and hugs my very dear friend 🙏🩵🤗
I have never heard of this yarn. I haven't seen it anywhere around here. It looks warm & soft. I think that's a lot of knots. It's a bit pricey for me. Thanks for doing a review on it.
I knit 2 of these blankets with this yarn. I cast on 72 stitches with size 11 needles. I daughter and granddaughter love . Just knit every row until I ran out of yarn. Bought at Joanne’s for about 25 on sale.
Your blanket looks beautiful. It’s too bad there were so many knots in the cake. At least they don’t show up too much because of the pattern in the yarn. Thank you for sharing your opinion of this yarn. 🧶💜🙏🏻
I bought an anniversary cake when they did a close out a few yrs ago. That hurt my wrist. I don't like using blanket yarn so I'll probably never try Cover Story. Thanks for sharing ❤
I know sometimes the Lion Brand website can be problematic, but the easiest way I have found to get patterns for a particular yarn is to find the yarn first, then on that yarn page look for the link that says “patterns made with” link. Doing that I found 6 crochet patterns that use 1 ball, one that uses 3 balls, and 1 pattern that uses 2 balls of Cover Story yarn. Plus several knit patterns (I didn’t count)
All the knots are a deal breaker for me. Even two or three would be too much. If I buy a big skein or cake like that, I expect it to be better than buying multiple cakes. TY Summer.
Holy knots Batman! Seven is way too many for a 500+ yards cake. Like you said, that type of fat yarn is hard to hide or weave in those tails. The blanket is beautiful but I’d rather use an Anniversary cake. Thanks for the review.
My daughter was making a blanket. She checked out Cover Story didn’t like reviews. Used Jumbo Blanket yarn, hand knit done extremely quick. Used a lighter in ends, I saw no knots from manufacturer. Odd. Knots, no bueno, beats Yarnbarf though. Grands I use 6 weight blanket, love the softness, can always find a color. Usually, shell, V stitch or ripple.
She liked the jumbo, thought it was softer. Told her to check, seems to be clearances a lot. Color, whatever, clearance, solid at Walmart picked up silver, Blue for 2.50 happy each. Happy Hunting

I made throws for all my grands and my daughters a few years ago. I got it on sale at Joanne and had coupons too.

Love your videos! You are so honest with your reviews. It's nice to donate. People can really use it and appreciate them.

Thanks for showing us how CoverStory works up. 🤗
I donate hats to the food bank my brother has at his church. I would get that yarn if I want a gift fast.
❤❤❤
Those are my favorite hooks
That’s a lot of knots❤

I bought 2 and i did doubled it all the way. It had 9 knots.. the second one I did giant granny. That one went faster. But it had 9 knots also.
I got 4 of them at my walmart for 15 each😊
I'm currently making my 3rd blanket out of Bernat blanket yarn. I am worried about the ends. I'm pretty sure I didn't knot the join on the first 2.😮😮😮
Oh no, I hope it stays together!
What size hook did you use? I ended up using 12mm

I got lucky. They were 14.97 at my Walmart.
I don’t recall knots
Think you might of got a bad ball
That is too many knots in one thing of yarn. The need to do better!
