I’m 60 years old and wasn’t interested in makeup at all until a few years ago. I’ve checked out many videos on here but Smitha by far provides the best methods to apply makeup and I’m learning a lot from her. My biggest problem is my right eye, it has very deep dark circles, crepey skin and hooded to the point it hangs over my under eye. My left eye is fine, a little hooded but manageable. It’s hard trying to apply products to each eye and having to use different methods to get the same result. One day I’ll get there and Smitha is going to be the one to help me. Thank you. ♥️

Hi there, I have hooded eyes also. There are a lot of You Tubers with Hooded eyes & they recommend using Sigma Beauty Brushes. I have bought quite a few & hopefully with practice can do beautiful eye looks.

I practice today as I've got a wedding to go to tomorrow n for the first time..I'm going with a full face of make up. Keep up with good videos, greatly appreciated
Me too. I agree. Nobody used brushes until the 80’s when Tammy Faye Baker said she used brushes who wore heavy makeup. I was a teenager then and I was like, oh gosh she paints her face with brushes. 😮I couldn’t relate. Now look at me, I have lots of brushes. 🤷♀️ Why have I been throwing away the eyeshadow applicators?
9 times out of 10, I use sponge applicators to apply color. I find I have more control where it goes and no fall out. Then use brushes to blend or smudge out.
I’m an older woman who shied away from shiny or glitter eyeshadows, but with the techniques I’ve learnt from Smitha, I’m able to use some of my favourite colours now. Very happy to have found this channel💛
I'm in my early 40s and I always stay away from metallic shadows because I'm scared it will make me look older with my wrinkles, also I have one slightly hooded eyelid. Literally one eye looks good with a high eyebrow, the other brow is lower with a hooded eyelid. I am so asymmetrical I look like a Picasso 😕😅

Beautiful. You have a ton of noobs (me in that class) and showing how to choose different color in your looks would be SO appreciated by me. Like turning this into a pinck, purple or warm. You don't have to DO the looks, just point out a few colors in whatever palate you are using that would work just as well😊💚
