The feline eye has become one of my signature make-up looks over the past two decades. Not only have I made it synonymous with the likes of Kate Moss, but it's a look I wear every single day.
The purpose of a feline eye is to use eyeliner to elongate the eye, like a cat's. In doing so, you add intensity, and the effect of an instant eye lift -- and who wouldn't want that?!

Good for u! Isnt she amazing, ppl can actually mimic her brilliant direction and apply it in real life. Love the fact that she uses a variety of products, from Tom Ford to Rimmel! Thats a true artist not some self proclaimed guru trying to sell ! No wonder shes one of the best. I bet ur cat eye rocked :-)

Yomna Abou-ismail ouh that's so long ago, but pretty sure some drugstore product... but I need to get like a better quality, because it so easily gets stuck in the inner corner and smudges all over lol

I absolutely love that you used a model with a slight eyelid crease, the same as I have - every time I see a tutorial on a model with huge deep set eyes that can take miles of eyeliner I just roll my eyes and click next, I get zero from them. I actually feel like I can use this video as a point of reference, so thank you for a very helpful tutorial!

My eyes always looked off whenever I applied eye-liner or kohl on them. Now I realize its because I never thought of outlining the inner corner of my eyes. What a difference that makes!

Kind of reminds me of angelina jolie's eye makeup. What's the best eyeliner shade for dark brown eyes to get similar striking look?
To be honest, I've found either a really warm brown or black works best to compliment dark brown eyes.
I think if you go with shades of blue, indigo, and vibrant purple they tend to make brown eyes stand out
+fHinZ SNklon You've got to look for shades which complete the shade of your eyes. When they're green, something with red in it (like purple or pink) ; when your eyes are brown a lot of colors can suit, may it be green, blue or purple, depending on the possible reflects and intensity of your brown (light or deep, hazelnut, greenish, goldy...). I personally find a velvety navy blue very flattering, also a bright emerald green and a deep amethyst or indigo shades... Actually we brown-eyed girls have a lot of choice! ;-) You can also try to do this look in black and double it with a colored line, this way you can use pastel colors which complete your eye color better than plain black.

Not fair. Charlotte always uses perfect blue eyed models to show off her make up. They don't even need any - they're beautiful already. Use a normal girl so we can see the difference. :(
blue eyes aren't exactly "normal" as previously stated, they're actually an anomaly, a mutation in genetic coding. they are, however, common - there are thousands of people with blue eyes. me included! :D its not a bad things. my eyes are one of the two things I like about my appearance. however, I find it difficult to get a proper, even line with a Kohl pencil. and thick lines make me look ridiculous :/

I don't really understand what you mean. Blue eyed models are NOT 'perfect' . I really hate how you are classifying that all blue eyed people are prettier than 'normal' (other eye colored people). I hope you change that mindset of yours.

+elysiumMB Chill your beans people. I commented as i saw it - no need for anyone to take it so freacking personally. And, i meant it! Some make up look amazing of blue/green/grey coloured eyes. I want to see make up on a normal, brown eyed girl (since thats the most common colour). I don't want to see make up on models - that doesn't make me buy it - it makes me feel cheated. I want to see how that makeup can actually look on a normal girl/down the street - maybe problematic skin - that will make me buy it. thank you and peace out!
actually my eyes are blue and whenever I use my black eye pencil I look like a clown. brown eyes are better for these kinds of makeup

This is incredibly helpful for me because I have a very similar eye shape with the creasing in the socket and I've noticed that winged liner is more difficult because of that. I've seen countless tutorials and no one ever has this eye shape or mentions how to get around it with this shape so thank you!
