Yea there is a reference to Red Harlow in RDR2. It's a campfire tale that begins by someone asking if you are a bounty hunter. It's short but pretty sweet😊
I spent countless of hours in this game back then man, replayed it at least 10 times and the splitscreen duel stuff with friends was SO fun, such a good game.

I realize the animation style is like an over the top caricature, but I actually really like the aesthetic and I think it'd be cool to have crazy looking characters like this in newer games. Not sure how it would look with the crazy graphics of the RAGE engine, but maybe that sort of thing would be more appropriate for an Undead Nightmare DLC.
I like the current way they are doing it a lot better but I agree that the look and feel of this game is really cool its pretty unique and very memorable maybe if they made a Revolver 2 with this look would be best haha

this was the one cowboy game that got me interested in old western games, I can't wait for the reboot and yes there's going to be a reboot for this game.
I too am a fan of “red dead revolver.” I play it on Xbox back in 2004. During that year, I saw it in various stores that sell video games, I looked at once or more I didn’t play it until my brothers friend came over and brought it with him to play it. During that time, me and my brother watched him play it until bed time. Some time in the morning he gave me a chance to play red dead and I only played 3 chapters, because be had to go home. Since then, I was thinking about it. I wanted to buy it on, but couldn’t buy it because I wasn’t old enough to play a mature rated title. Years later, I’ve been watching videos about it on TH-cam during 2010, but didn’t see all of it until 2015, that’s when I became a fan of the original red dead, end of story.

Fun fact: The mysterious man that Hosea says that shot the rope is indeed Red Harlow. How? Red Harlow is based off The Man With No Name, Sergio Leone's spaghetti western series staring Clint Eastwood, with other known actors Lee Van Cleef and Eli Wallach, in The Good The Bad and The Ugly, The Man With No Name is seen shooting the rope around Tuco, rescuing him, this is a callback to that movie. :)
