You reminded me of my zx6r 2021 where i got hit n run which resulted in my bike total loss. Nothing was able to keep. Total destroyed and thanks God i’m still in 1 piece with no metal rods inside.

Such a great rebuild. Although the bike was thrashed, what about the person involved in the crash, are they alright now?
Thank you! I have no idea what happened yo the rider. The bike was a theft recovery that the insurance company sold, so the rider was likely the person that stole it.

Hello, thank you! I couldn’t possibly say how many hours I put Into because I really don’t know. It was a lot of work for sure, waiting for parts also takes time. I just uploaded a full build version on TH-cam, be sure to check it out.
good job! one question...did you manage to get the key lock working without changing the control unit?
Thank you! I replaced the entire key system (new ignition, gas tank lock and under seat lock). This bike doesn’t have an immobilizer since it’s a North America version.
ah ok without immobilizer!! I had a similar experience and my immobilizer was damaged... I was lucky to find a used immobilizer antenna and I solved it... bye from Italy 😎✌️

Thank you! I can’t remember exact time plus there is also time spent working on other projects and waiting for parts. Hard to give a specific timeframe. If all the parts were sitting in my garage with the bike, won’t take no more than a few days.

Looking at all damage was there any damage to the frame swing arm and the front end fork’s I had a 2009 ZX10 and it cost me about 4000 I glad I had insurance
There was no damage to the frame, swing arm, forks or wheels. Just scratches that were painted. Feel free to check out the complete build series on my channel.
I honestly think my harness is missing something’s due to a previous wreck. What does the daytime running like plug into? Also what about the front wheel abs sensor.
i couldnt tell you. probably best to get ahold of a service manual. ive work on several other bikes since this one. if you watch the full build video you might see what youre after

I have a registered business that allows me to buy salvage insurance vehicles. Some auctions allow access to public buyers too for slightly higher fees

You’re welcome! You can definitely do it. Just know it’s a risky venture and be aware of the fees that that have to be paid on every vehicle you buy.

Nice... always wanted to learn to ride a sport bike but ive always been told to ride cruisers because of my height (5feet 5)
Thanks you! Be sure to check out my new ZX6R rebuild. It’s gonna be epic. You can definitely ride a sport bike and if you have trouble having both feet on the ground you can always have the bike lowered.

@@mariquesalexander5190 if lowered properly, both front and rear it shouldn’t. Most rider don’t have the skills to push most sports bike to the limits were lowering it will be a problem.

Did you get any over spray on the bike when painting?
I’m not sure what parts you’re referring to but most parts on this bike are similar to older bikes I’ve worked on. There’s no over spray on the bike. It was always covered when I painted.
