Maybe he is not a fan of Kospet ! :) I have a Kospet Hope and the bad, bad functions is the huge consumation of battery in 4G network mode so a poor autonomy of battery ! Another bad thing is the quality of plastic : the SIM's tray is broken after 7 manouvres and the only thing I can do for fix it it was put a permanent acrilyc glue ! :(
People in a few years will probably look back on this tech and laugh, watching it on 8k ultra slim watch screens with nano batteries that last 50 years between charges. And the AI personal assistant on their watch will probably laugh along with them.

If this technology gathered more interest and got more invested into, it could very well be an alternative to a normal smartphone in the future. Even more than a foldable considering this would be cheap af. Hope bigger players get into this market. The problem is the battery.. When it's that thick, it's uncomfortable. And the other thing is, the AI should be able to understand almost every request by voice. Then it's done.
Its like a James bond watch.. camera and all. Love the chipset. Only downside is i'll have to spend a year in the gym doing wrist curls (fnarr fnarr) to make my wrist big enough to take it ha ha. Great review and good mix of tech and funnies as usual Spurt. Top job my man
This watch overall is a very nice watch, the only issue which is more of a warning is that it has absolutely NO IP Rating whatsoever, don't let the "life waterproof" fool you because it's an absolute lie, and the fact that KOSPET can lie like this makes me feel that I could in no way recommend it. The camera has a nifty feature that allows it to swing, this is the sole reason that it is not at all waterproof. Behind this rotating camera is a little ribbon that runs into the watch, and to get this ribbon inside there is a BIG hole in the side of the watch, this can easily be verified by removing the Sim card tray and simply blowing into the watch, you will feel and hear the air happily flowing out of the gap by the camera. And don't think keeping the camera flipped down will help because it absolutely won't unfortunately. I give this warning because my watch got wet, just from a simple hand wash for 5 seconds and the water got everywhere in the watch, the screen died and the phone took 2 weeks to just turn back on, the watch had to then be disassembled to be thoroughly cleaned inside for it to start working again. This is when I discovered the nice hole that goes straight through the watch frame. The buttons are also not water proof so if you press while near water it will get in unfortunately. This device has son much possibilities but the absolute lack of any water resistance coupled with the ip rating lie makes me suggest you move on to a different device / brand altogether. I'm first smart watch was an Amazfit and this device is totally waterproof so perhaps I had too high an expectation that I could simply wash my hand and not worry.

Okay so I bought this watch and it's friggin awesome, except for one major problem: it puts off a ton of EMF. The WiFi will blast you away, so I put this thing in Airplane mode and my Trifield EMF reader was still picking up significant RF radiation from it which was unbelievable, but at the same time not really surprising given it's Chinese. It is really too bad, because it is such a cool watch and idk how to stop that. I wish I knew which radio(s) were responsible. Right now it's sitting on a nearby table away from me in Airplane mode, blasting away at everything around it for no apparent reason at all. I compared it with my Samsung Galaxy Active 2 just to make sure, and there was no apparent emission of EMF coming from their Airplane mode.
If you hold the blue button down for a few seconds and you can change to a square watch face which then gives you complete access to the TH-cam controls the more you play with this watch the more you learn about it still it wasn't a bad video but maybe you could do another vid on the Optimus prime 2 after you have had it a while longer cheers J
I had the Kospet Optimus Pro - it's basically Android in watch form but I had constant problems with battery life, overheating, build quality: the corners connecting the strap to the case snapped off so I superglued them back on and the final nail in the coffin - the power button mechanism failed so I can't actually switch the watch on anymore. I bought a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 to replace it and I've never looked back, all in all my Optimus Pro lasted about 6 months and there's no guarantee as well. ☹️ I could easily live with round screen, square os issues because there were so many workarounds but the poor build quality killed everything for me - these full Android watches are interesting but as day to day watches they're simply too unreliable to be taken seriously! 🤔
You are absolutely right I love the images I have the kospet prime 2 and I'm going through trouble with it. battery don't last that long and GPS don't work that well

One time I switched on the 4g personal hotspot, connected my Netflix streaming laptop, then connected my TH-cam streaming Intel NUC desktop and on top of that I ran TH-cam Music on the watch itself connected to my Bluetooth speakers - 4g, WiFi hotspot to two devices + Bluetooth stereo transmission. The experiment lasted about 25 minutes, the watch overheated so much that it rebooted itself, not before almost burning my left wrist! 🤣
You can push the air bubble out by pressing with your finger and sliding the air bubble out I hope this helps you get the air bubble pushed out from underneath the screen Protector it happened to me too so I just pushed the air bubble out from underneath the screen protector
KOSPET OPTIMUS 2 does not reach 13MP pixels as he said. If you like to take a clear picture, you can take a look at the Rogbid Panda. His main camera can automatically focus and is a rare deep waterproof watch. I like it very much. !
The roman numerals around the outside edge look great, but the watchface itself is very small. The OS, storage, ram, and camera quality just isn't as good. The specs aren't being advertised correctly either. Also the panda looks like a weird zombie thing which is just stupid and ghetto AF like c'mon.
I have mixed feelings for the Kospet brand, I first purchased the Kospet prime s the speaker went out after a month. The company Kospet was good on return but they no longer had the prime S so they offered me the optimus 2 for $80 difference, which i agreed. Received pretty quick , had the watch same 1 month and it kept rebooting and it came up with writing saying to set back to factory settings . it did this twice then later it would only charge to around 89 to 91 %.Cant be bothered sending this one back ,but still good watch for most just have to get use to it,

Interesting. It's a bit like my Joying Android car stereo that runs full android. Mostly advantages, but there's a few small disadvantages. Mainly just that the size scaling can be a little off. Like it's a 1600 x 900 resolution so some things are way too small to be poking for during driving.
I've been using the original Kospet Optimus(correction Kospet Prime) since it came out and it is by far the best smartphone watch I've ever seen and used. My only gripe with that one is the smartwatch camera positioning and the resolution doesn't seem to take in some QR codes required for covid check-in, so I'm thinking of upgrading to this watch for higher resolution camera and the camera swiveling which seems inspired. I'd love to find a comparison between this watch and the previous version. This one looks thicker, but I can't tell if the face is larger. I like that this one has far easier access to the sim card.

I have Optimus pro 1 on it if you hold top button in it pulls up shut down screen you can select round or square screen then push bottom button and it will return with square screen its nice it does get hot when I Hotspot to phone for wifi it doesn't have sleep monitor

Needs android 12, not extended support 10.x, faster and more efficient cpu using the latest 3nm node from tsmc a larger battery and 6 to 8gb of ram, then I'd hop on it..
Be more precise for next time ! It is more good for us to criticism some bad aspects : the circular display and the apps which are not optimized for circular screen, for example ! Don't forget to open some social hub apps, like Facebook, to see how it works on circular screen ! The rest of functions could discover by ourselves so don't waste your time with evident things ! And you forgot to show us that smartwatch has a option to pass to square screen ( not enormous increment of readability of the small text but make more accessible the corner of the apps who were designed for smartphone with rectangle display ).
I have a Kospet Hope since december 2020 : 7 hours in moble 4G network mode with mobile data connection activated ( without bluetooth activated and 25% intensity of display) and like result it has overheating the smartwatch. In 3G phone mobile network it runs 17 hours, with data mobile activated, without bluetooth. In 4G mobile if are not enough 4G signal it is a wasting battery draining ! May be the little antenna are not so suitable for this smartwatch !
Dude... learn how to "Square off" the screen so everything fits on the screen and you can tap on it when it's off the edge of the screen on circle mode.

Sad thing is, that most Android Wear smartwatches seem to run worse (choppy animations).
This watch doesn't run on WearOS, it's actually an android phone on your wrist.
Needs android 12, not extended support 10.x, faster and more efficient cpu using the latest 3nm node from tsmc a larger battery and 6 to 8gb of ram, then I'd hop on it..
Try game streaming on it like GeForce Now or something and try playing Cyberpunk 2077

Be more precise for next time ! It is more good for us to criticism some bad aspects : the circular display and the apps which are not optimized for circular screen, for example ! Don't forget to open some social hub apps, like Facebook, to see how it works on circular screen ! The rest of functions could discover by ourselves so don't waste your time with evident things ! And you forgot to show us that smartwatch has a option to pass to square screen ( not enormous increment of readability of the small text but make more accessible the corner of the apps who were designed for smartphone with rectangle display ).

How long is the battery life?
I have a Kospet Hope since december 2020 : 7 hours in moble 4G network mode with mobile data connection activated ( without bluetooth activated and 25% intensity of display) and like result it has overheating the smartwatch. In 3G phone mobile network it runs 17 hours, with data mobile activated, without bluetooth. In 4G mobile if are not enough 4G signal it is a wasting battery draining ! May be the little antenna are not so suitable for this smartwatch !

Dude... learn how to "Square off" the screen so everything fits on the screen and you can tap on it when it's off the edge of the screen on circle mode.
