Archbishop Lwanga found dead in his home

The Catholic Roman Church in Uganda and the country at large is mourning the death of the Catholic Archbishop of Kampala Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga who was found dead at his residence in Lubaga in Kampala. The sudden death of Archbishop Lwanga has shocked many people who spent the better part of the afternoon in a somber mood at Lubaga Cathedral. The cause of the late Archbishop's death is yet to be announced by the church leadership. Many of those who congregated at Lubaga cathedral, described Lwanga as a leader who stood for the truth and condemned injustices.
