There is no drop down for changing search engine. And when clicking on a “change” button in blue, the options are literally just google. And yet it clearly isn’t because it just reverts back to Yahoo when searching something, despite my windows saying otherwise.

Thanks for the kind question. It sounds like you have some malware on your system.
If you have a windows PC, click the windows button to bring up the start menu and type in startup.
This brings up startup apps - click on this and this lists the apps and programs that open when you start your computer.
Look through them and turn off any you dont recognise or need.
I think your malware which is changing the browser search is one of these - uninstall any you think it might be.
To uninstall, click the windows button to bring up the start menu, and type in uninstall.
