Actually returning my S25U to get the 25+ (Coral Red) upgrading from my S23+. I was hoping the redesign of the Ultra would make it more manageable, but still feels huge and uncomfortable to hold. The plus really is the sweet spot.
@@ShaneSymonds Yeah, holding them side by side I thought it wouldn't feel any different but it definitely does. Especially knowing that the S25+ will be even lighter than my 23, despite the bigger battery and better screen
Pre-ordered mine today. I was comparing this to the Ultra and decided on the + in blue simply because it just works best for me & what I will be using it for. You're absolutely spot on about the screen size...not really a big difference and yes the + is very lightweight.
Using my S24 Plus as a trade-in I got mine, a Navy 256 for $299. I've been using Samsung S series phones since the original Galaxy S. I think Samsung should have upgraded the main camera to the 100 mp lens but it is what it. It's in Anchorage right now and it should be delivered by next Wednesday 8:52
I don't think anyone ever has paid full price for a samsung phone. Ive never paid more than £600 and most the time its around £400 for the ultra model every year
It was mostly due to the SD elite processor. It gets 7 years of software support so it will last longer than other brands that only offer 3-5 years or even less. Pricewise, it almost didnt change compared to the previous iterations despite inflation.
I received mine on Thursday (I got coral red 512GB) and I’m loving it, I’m also a cellular nerd and when using dual SIM connectivity the performance is the same as using only one sim (I use eSIM)
I have zero interest in the ultra but the base model s25s are pretty decent this year I guess being they have the same processor and ram all around. My only gripe is those camera rings. I’m picky, but they bother me so much that if I do switch from iOS back to android I’ll probably get an s24.
I was and still am very thrown off by the black rings they first added to the Fold 6, they're so thick. At least these on the S25s are slimmer but still not the most appealing. The cheaper A series phones like the A16 are getting them too.
@ Yeah I mean TO BE FAIR I think over time a lot of us will learn to like or at least be okay with them but then Jerryrig showed earlier they’re technically just glued to the cameras. It adds some questions for durability. Either way, most of us will have cases anyhow.
I agree, I absolutely HATE the obnoxious, plastic-looking black camera rings. They make the phone look less premium compared to the S24 series and that's a fact. As a matter of fact, here is proof the camera rings on the S25 series are fake: th-cam.com/video/kN9YYURZD5Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kJPn43kwdjbobMGA
@@doppavee4309 I saw that earlier today. It’s insane and I think down the road in warmer climates with a lot of moisture there’s gonna be pre owned S25s with the rings missing.

What are your thoughts on the S25+? Thanks for watching!
Navy is a new color

S25+ is noticeably lighter and thinner for not much screen loss

Ordered and waiting ❤
Hi shane !
I have a question ! What is your main phone ? With your actual sim card in it ?

Great unboxing and first impression love the S25 plus bro
Same I passed on the Ultra and preordered the Plus. It’s a pretty complete phone with a lot of horse power and isn’t a brick 😂.

When you review galaxy s25 edge?
No clue yet but this is what you should get instead of the edge
As soon as they are in store will be purchasing the S 25 Ultra.
How heavy is the software/system by itself?
Too expensive
Snapdragon Elite .. Software by Samsung …
Only if you don't have a trade in.

Good luck finding a new, great flagship cheaper than this. Maybe save for 5 years and you’ll be able to afford it

Love the color
Great Video brother

Yes
Nice video man. I live in Mount Joy too. How cool.
Mine is Navy. I now wish I would have ordered the Ice Blue but it is what it is. 1:45
Great S25 series videos Shane. My only trusted source for Sammy products.
I will get my S25+ 512gb in Navy tomorrow.

is the back cover too attractive of finger prints?
Gets lots of fingerprints

They look like shit, but at the end of the day, the only time I see the back of my phone is when cleaning it

I imagine if they put that navy color in the ultra.
I’m just glad not to see yet another ultra review
24 vs 25 video 🙏
Same phone, just a newer processor
@TomerShemesh yeah but I'd in video
I can't be the only person who thinks this Navy color is absolutely hideous, right?
It looks like an iphone, they should stop copying iphone and be their own thing
Love your channel ❤ keep it up Shane lots of love for techtwin14
