At this point yeah. All these different phones with such small differences between them are getting annoying. Things were so much better when we had the "Note Class" and the "S series". Notes for people who liked bigger phones and S series for people preferring smaller devices with different specs and tech that set both devices uniquely apart.
No, some of us like small phones 6.7 is quite big and there are people who likes those big phones, and S25 has some missing features that s25+ has, and some features are unnecessary, but S25 is good for money and size.
congrats. I just thinking to do the same with my s10+ :D still not fully confince bettwen s24u or s25u (and the 3rd (kind of little more cheap) option - oneplus 13
@@DimitarGyurgin You could just go for the s24u instead. I'm guessing the new software and AI features will become available someday for older generations. Except you really want the new processor, new design and stuff - then you should maybe wait a bit longer for more reviews and comparison videos until making a decision ^^
@9:45 higher resolution screen (QHD+) was a feature from the smallest model, not just ultra model, my S10 had it, it was just something they took away so not really something I want to praise the bigger models for nowadays
I 100% agree. My old Galaxy S9 had 1440p display now Samsung is saying if you want the best display you gotta spend a thousand, this company is becoming like Apple.
I guess it's a marketing move, but from what i know almost every compact phone now has fhd+, maybe because on a small screen the difference is little and the battery consume is higher
I just bought the S24 FE..upgraded from the A35. Night and day difference! The Exynos 2400e compared to the Exynos 1380 is insane! Exynos hit a home run with the power of this processor. 😁
For some of us with a tablet such as the Tab S series, a small phone makes more practical sense since we can get the best of both worlds of really big screen and portability in a small device. I've done the Plus & Ultra previously and found it less convenient than a tablet for large screen tasks and less portable than the regular S model for typical phone use. So for me, the regular S is the best option precisely because of how small it is.
Not gonna lie, I was super excited when I finally got my new phone (Samsung s24 FE) last week as a birthday present since I always wanted to feel like I owned an up-to-date device, but then just a few days later and Samsung announces their s25 series. of course, that bummed me out since that means that I wasn't up to date anymore. But, even if that's the case, I still want to take care of my new phone since it's a present for me in the first place. Sure, the s24 FE is not the best out of the s24 series, but I'm still happy to have it. Out of all my phones from the past, its actually my favorite. Anyways, hope for everyone to be able to get their hands on the new s25 series. As for me, I think I'll be sticking with my s24 FE, happy and satisfied even if it's not the best out of the entire s24 series :)
I actually had to use a larger phone for a few days and it felt very off. I'm happy that my regular-sized S22 arrived so that I don't have to strut around with a phablet in my pocket.
Even tho i have small hands, I couldn't quite accomodate with my s22. So, I bought a S24U. Idk, mby bcs of my sight, that is off lately I needed a bigger screen.
I also have a s21+, and it's kinda starting to work horribly. The camera freezes almost always when recording a video, the battery runs out super fast and it gets kinda slow at times. Do you think it's worth paying 1050€ for s25+ or just wait for a discount at the end of the year??
Man people are gonna go crazy for that coral red color. I remember last year everyone wanted the s24+ in that bright orange color that samsung was offering on their website. I tried to get it, but I would have had to wait an extra 3 weeks so I got my s24+ in sapphire blue.
How is your experience with S24+? I heard the plus model is treated differently by Samsung when compared with Base and Ultra model? Are you getting firmware updates frequently?
S25 plus looks sweet..The samsung plus phones are the only phone with samsung I would buy. They are the perfect size and yes always over looked. I hate when searching for samsung plus devices as the websites always revert to ultra phones. Pisses me off. Pixel does this also with the pixel 9 pro XL..Anyway..That blue color looks awesome. If I get this would the S25 plus be an upgrade to pixel 9 pro?
Yes. It has the latest Snapdragon chip, which smokes the Pixel's Tensor G4 in raw power, especially for gaming or heavy multitasking. The screen is way better for media, and the battery lasts longer than the Pixel's. One UI 7 also includes cool AI features and its ecosystem (like Dex mode) adds way more flexibility for daily use.
S22 is actually a good phone. Youd be perfectly alright for 3 more years. I bought the tab s8 plus even with the s10 series looming and everything seems fine.
@Netherbeadtmobile gave me $500 trade in for my s22, too good to pass up. the power consumption is bad, I get like 8hrs at most on batter saver and just browsing and social media.
Honestly what i find wierd is that the plus has the exact same camera set-up as the base wich i find wierd, why not give the plus an inbetween or match it with the edge but with more lenses...
i was about to get the Plus model but trough all the discounts and network provider i got the Ultra for the same Price as the Plus so it was a no Brainer even tho i wanted a lighter Phone this time arround
Pre-ordered coral red S25+, i look forward to it since my current phone is S21+ with a severely cracked case and diminished battery life. I must say though I dropped that phone like a hundred times already and 4 years later it still works very well.
I am pre-ordering S25+, was not sure about the color, but probably go for silver shadow. Its a pity, that orange is not available für S25. And this Coralred is just a bit too bright. Also, I am upgrading from S20 FE, so also pretty excited.
Just ordered the 25+ in coral red at 512gb, upping from a smaller s21 5g at 256gb...and looking forward to it. I baulked at being forced to get the + in order to get 512gb at first, but its fot a bigger battery, and I got $300 off for trade-in + storage bonus. The 4 years ive had the s21 5g is the longest so far between upgrades. We shall seeeee how it goes!
I just ordered an s25+ today. I'm upgrading from an s22+. I thought about getting the ultra but this had enough features to make me happy. I've been waiting for a phone that is a significant upgrade and I think this is it.
After my 2 y/o s22 ultra screen magically decided to die, I'm planning to get the s25 because the hardware is not that different compared to the plus from my understanding and since they offer the 512gb in my country, there's nothing to convince me to get the plus which is substantially more expensive. Especially since I did not plan to get a new phone. Great video that helps to give me an idea on the phones!
Idk that qhd display will drain battery way faster than fhd. I'm thinking about buying a new s25, i have to change my phone after 4 years, a redmi note 9 pro. And now i could get the 256gb for the 128gb price, so no more ufs 3.2 of the base model. What do you think about? And what the time difference to charge the battery 4000mah at 25w Vs 4900mah at 45w?
I’ve used the S24+ with QHD enabled, and I didn’t find that the battery drained any worse than the S24 regular by comparison - but I know everyone is different. I think you 100% need 256GB if you keep your phone 3-4+ years again. The charging speed difference is probably 20-30 minutes +/-
@TechDaily thank you for your answer. Yes, i would keep my phone for more than 4 years XD, in facts i'm switching the phone due to the lack of security updates (and that 7 years look good)
I still think the main consideration is screen size. With a bigger screen, you'd expect higher resolution and bigger battery to compensate anyways. I'm debating whether to order the base S25 or wait it out another year to see if Samsung does more of a hardware/design update.
I just ordered the Navy S25 Plus. I'm disappointed that they didn't give the Plus a camera upgrade. I did get a decent deal on my trade-in, the S24 Plus. I got it for $299.00 6:31
i’m upgrading s25+ from iphone 12 mini (big switch lol), but honestly i’m a bit disappointed with the s25 series compared to s24. only real change that would last is the chip and some very minor adjustments, and since galaxy ai is set to be a paid service by the end of this year (which is the MAIN THING THEY FOCUSED ON😭). Now my only reason for getting it instead of S24+ are snap 8 elite (which granted is a pretty good upgrade) and slightly thinner bezels and other minor tweaks. not to mention that navy color😩
Hmmm…I think the S23 Plus is probably the newest phone I’d seriously considering upgrading from. If you keep this phone for 3-4 years, it’s probably worth it. You’ll get a decent trade in value too. I think performance will be better, but that’s about it. Camera, hardware, screen, etc. will be mostly the same.
Wish samsung phone held thier value a little better. Spend 1200 on a s22+ when it came out and not a couple months later it's already on sale for like 800 and used online for like 600 😂
Hmm, I was set on the One Plus 13 unless the S25+ price was competitive. After the trade in values and other bonuses, the s25+ actually ends up being about $100 less than the OP13 for me. Now I'm debating what to do.
I would get the S25+ myself. The OP13 is a great phone, but I think Samsung took a decisive lead software-wise. And with the trade in deals, it actually makes sense. These phones are expensive.
10:00 we want real test of connectivity between phones : -5G/4G : speed/coverage -WiFi 7 : speed / coverage -Bluetooth 5.4 -UWB -NFC -USBc : data transfer
You kinda make it sound like the regular S25/S24 is less important our desired than the S25/24+, which couldn't be further from the truth. I work as a salesman in a T-Mobile shop and i can tell you that i encounter costumers looking for a new phone and get shocked when they see how gigantic new phones have got EVERY DAY! Costumers, who usually never buy high end phones end up buying expensive phones like the S25/S4 or the regular iPhone 16 or 16 Pro because all midrange phones are gigantic now and they just don't want to handle a phone that is basically a small tablet. The S25/24+ is actually the unimportant and undesired phone that nobody cares about. It doesn't get overlooked, as you stated. It's just uninteresting. Most people don't give a f**k about differences in display resolutions that the human eye can't spot anyway. They care much more about how a phone looks and feels in their hands. We definitely have sold much more S24 than S24 plus last year. You are mistaken by calling the S25 a small phone. It's not. It's a normal sized phone in a market full of ridiculously huge phones. Some would even call the regular S25 big.
Between the trade-in deals and the carrier offers, I don’t think anyone pays full price nowadays…do they? Also - I got the red 👀 can’t wait to unbox that beauty
hold up they removed WQHD+ for standard size S phones? My S10 regular has a 1440p display... I don't use it though, I can't tell the difference between 1080p at that screen size unless I look up close. Extra battery life for me.
I can't decide on the color. I was going for the Ice Blue but sometimes it looks like blue white and sometimes like baby blue... I can't tell from those videos.
Ehhh I mean it definitely got people hyped up. I feel like it’ll be a replacement for the FE? It looks like a thinner phone with one less camera (no telephoto?)
Samsung needs to stop producing the S25. The S25+ should be named Tween and keep the same name for the ultra. Then S25+ (tween) needs to have the same size as the Ultra, but offer some stuff that the Ultra can't and vice-versa. For example, the tween has a 5500 battery size, but the Ultra has a newer camera. The Ultra has a pen, but the Tween has a stronger screen protection.
I have the S24 Ultra and have opted for the S25+ in Coral Red. It was my first Ultra phone and aftter a couple months I found it to be boring. The S25+ with the slimmer and lighter profile was the selling point for me and also the Coral Red colour, not to mention the new chip. I dont need 200x zoom and I very rarely used the S pen. The S25+ with the same charging speeds, same QHD display and WiFi 7, its just a no brainer for me.
Currently using the s23 fe. Hoping to upgrade to the s24 sometime next month. I'm just putting off having to switch carriers since metro pcs refuses to have flagship devices for some reason
I’m sorry, but the regular s25 is nowhere near a small device… I’m a tall big man, but I don’t understand how and why everyone just tolerate these new big phone standards. 6.1-6.2 are really just the ideal size for one hand use.
Haha was gonna pre order off samsung Ireland and trade in Z Flip 6 but they wont take the Flip or Fold 6 models as trade in yet as they are too new. Yet Uk and US samsung sites do. Crazy
I love the plus versions of Samsung phones. The form factor is underrated. I didn't know this until i got my s22+ about 6 months ago. If this wasn't damn near brand new, I'd trade it in.
are you with a big phone carrier? mine offered me $500 for my s22, so I got the s25+. but samsung themselves i think are offering $400 for s22+ and only $200 for s22.
I have the S20 FE do we think this is a good upgrade? I am looking for something with built in storage. I also make tiktoks and youtube videos off my phone so im looking for a good camera too :)
Another thing, I can buy redmagic 10 pro or asus or any phone!!! Problem is size 6.8” is not an option! To damn big and the company keeps making bigger and bigger phones!
Considering that you have the 20+. The changes are very considerable. I have done some research on the device. I'm very impressed with what it has to offer. It has AI and many other awesome features. One of the biggest things about the S25+ is the processor chip. It has the Snapdragon ELITE. This feature alone is worth the upgrade. I just put in my pre-order for the NEW Samsung Galaxy S25+ It will be here on February 12th I can't wait. I also have the Samsung Galaxy S24+ the performance on this phone is outstanding. I just get the S25+ I don't believe you will be disappointed. Sorry about the long post.
I just pre-order a s25+, i traded my s22+ for witch i got a 380$ plus 500$ promotional credit.I aplied another cupon of 100$ and end up paying 440$(canadian $) for the new phone, also they have a great deal for the buds 3 pro,i got them for 179$
I am preordering the S25 Ultra in the morning. TBH I'm kind of disappointed in the colors. i wish they had atleast included that navy blue instead of all the boring "Titanium" colors which are just different shades of black and grey. With that said i'll be getting a skin fop mine, most likely in orange since that's my favorite color.
The fact that Samsung doesn’t understand people love extra cool colors is bizarre. We could barely tell the S25 Ultras apart when we had them all lined up
I wish it came at the size of the a24 regular, or just have the regular s24 have the exact same specs. They had to reduce the display quality and everything, plus the battery, especially with the new carbon annode tech it's possible to cram over 5500 mah in there. Xiaomi did it with their 14 and 15, that too with all the latest hardware, there's no reason for Samsung to be so conservative on a phone costing that much. I feel like this has been one of the more unexciting samsung releases in years.
This S25 lineup is good, everyone can buy what suits better. If you want a compact, S25 is the answer and if you want more battery life or more features, Samsung give you 2 distincts options with S25+ and S25 Ultra. I like S23 6.2', it would be nice with my 13 Pro and Nothing Phone(1).
Was thinking of going from my iPhone 15pro max to the S25+ but it seems like more of a lateral move. I guess I’ll check out the ultra but I really don’t need a stylus. In was hoping for a little more to justify switching.
I'm switching from the iphone 16 pro lol. I've only been trying iphone for 1.5 years and I'm already annoyed by it and missing android. Just need to decide if I want the nice size of the regular S25 or put up with the bigger size for a better screen and battery.
I'm still using S22+ and am considering upgrading. Considering this phone has one more year update plus the security update end in 2027. As the S25 plus has 7 years.
I've got the s22+ as well. Honestly even when our phones stop getting android updates, and security patches, they are good for a while after. I mean, have you EVER heard anyone getting a phone virus, because it's out of date??
@carstuff4u942 nothing wrong with using the phone for a while, but people do have virus on their phone. They may never know, and some people actually never really update their phone.
I didnt even know this was coming out. I just needed a phone cause the 22+ is dying and went and ordered one yesterday. I guess i went at the right time. Cant wait for the 7th.
Yes I saw them at Best Buy yesterday. The difference is very very slight but enough to feel a difference. I am torn because I like the feel of the size of plus but the camera isn’t near that of the ultra. Also, with the price and incentives I’d be paying almost 100.00 difference. I ultimately would love better cameras in the base model.
I actually think S25+ is the worst option. You pay a lot more and basically get enlarged S25 with 99% identical specs and performance. So either get regular S25 for pocketable, single hand use phone or go all out and get Ultra for proper spec bump.
Logically, it is the best option. Psychologically, you're compromising, getting neither a small phone nor a large one. Not many people like to compromise when they're buying $1000+ smartphones...
Should Samsung just combine the S25 & S25+ at this point? 😅
No, I think there's still a market for small phones 😢
No, having them be the last major OEM with a flagship compact option helps them stand apart
Yes.

I got it for $299.00 6:31
That’s a darn good deal! I’m also surprised there’s no real camera differences 🤷
Can't justify paying more than 4-500 for a phone
Maybe the trade-in deals help with that? Or maybe the A35 is the better option??
@@TechDaily bro can I trade my s10 for s24 ultra
If you can't afford it no need for such comments trying to make yourself feel better.
i’m upgrading s25+ from iphone 12 mini (big switch lol), but honestly i’m a bit disappointed with the s25 series compared to s24. only real change that would last is the chip and some very minor adjustments, and since galaxy ai is set to be a paid service by the end of this year (which is the MAIN THING THEY FOCUSED ON😭). Now my only reason for getting it instead of S24+ are snap 8 elite (which granted is a pretty good upgrade) and slightly thinner bezels and other minor tweaks. not to mention that navy color😩
I have 12 pro max and I wasn’t impressed with the new Samsung ultra! I sent it back and will wait for the 17 pro max
Should i get the s24 plus or s25 plus
Hi, I have the Galaxy S23, plus I'm debating on getting the S25. Plus, what do you think?
Hmmm…I think the S23 Plus is probably the newest phone I’d seriously considering upgrading from. If you keep this phone for 3-4 years, it’s probably worth it. You’ll get a decent trade in value too. I think performance will be better, but that’s about it. Camera, hardware, screen, etc. will be mostly the same.
Wait at least for the S26 Plus
Wish samsung phone held thier value a little better. Spend 1200 on a s22+ when it came out and not a couple months later it's already on sale for like 800 and used online for like 600 😂
My advice is buy Samsung phones on black Friday. There is not point for me to not wait few months and get the best discount for it
Hmm, I was set on the One Plus 13 unless the S25+ price was competitive.
S25 Plus without thinking twice !!!
Get S25+ because it's cheaper. Down the line if you want to trade back to OnePlus 13, quite easy because S25+ will have better value
10:00 we want real test of connectivity between phones :
-5G/4G : speed/coverage
-WiFi 7 : speed / coverage
-Bluetooth 5.4
-UWB
-NFC
-USBc : data transfer
That red color looks sick but I just can't see spending $1k on a phone. By the end of the year it'll probably be down to about $700. I'll wait.
Between the trade-in deals and the carrier offers, I don’t think anyone pays full price nowadays…do they? Also - I got the red 👀 can’t wait to unbox that beauty
@TechDaily they do if they're into tech but only have prepaid service like me and a bunch of other people
I traded in my S22+ on Samsung’s site and received $400 off the S25+ and $100 for accessories.
What if we wanted the most compact, I just don't get why they won't give the regular s25 500gb
hold up they removed WQHD+ for standard size S phones? My S10 regular has a 1440p display... I don't use it though, I can't tell the difference between 1080p at that screen size unless I look up close. Extra battery life for me.
Man the navy looks 🔥,it is giving thise 2019 vibes with all vibrant coloured phones.
If only it was released two months ago i would have bought it 😭.
I can't decide on the color. I was going for the Ice Blue but sometimes it looks like blue white and sometimes like baby blue... I can't tell from those videos.
I love my S24+ and if I upgrade I'll go for the S25+
i live in asia, i just ordered the s25 regular in 512 gb of storage with free fit 3, watch 7, adoptor and a powerbank for 800 usd ship.
Wait holy crap why don’t we get that deal here lol
You're asian and you still support samsung with their lame azzz tiny battery in 2025 with a lame azzz charging speed? LoL
Today is the last day of Samsung s25 + preorder , should I get one plus 13 or Samsung s25 plus ?
Thoughts on s25edge?
Ehhh I mean it definitely got people hyped up. I feel like it’ll be a replacement for the FE? It looks like a thinner phone with one less camera (no telephoto?)
Which " cidecs" are hardwired into phone? Is it LDAAC, Aptx?
The plugs is always my preference but unfortunately Samsung didn't update any camera for it
Samsung needs to stop producing the S25.
Just pre-ordered mine in Coral Red 😊
Hey me too! That was the color to get for sure
How can I talk to Google directly? I suggest Google to add a mute icon on short videos, is it possible?
I have the S24 Ultra and have opted for the S25+ in Coral Red. It was my first Ultra phone and aftter a couple months I found it to be boring. The S25+ with the slimmer and lighter profile was the selling point for me and also the Coral Red colour, not to mention the new chip. I dont need 200x zoom and I very rarely used the S pen. The S25+ with the same charging speeds, same QHD display and WiFi 7, its just a no brainer for me.
This appeared in my notifications but the “the” in the title got cut off so I thought it said “why it’s terrible” and I got scared for a sec
Awesome hands on video my favourite amongst the S25 series bro
Hey thanks! That really means a lot! 🙏
@TechDaily welcome bro
The new user interface looks good.
I like it too! It’s a nice refresh and I think they did a good job. The dark Settings icon is a little odd though lol
Currently using the s23 fe. Hoping to upgrade to the s24 sometime next month. I'm just putting off having to switch carriers since metro pcs refuses to have flagship devices for some reason
I think that’ll be a nice change. Maybe metro will randomly have a deal on the S25 this summer??
I mean this would be a heck of an upgrade. But if you want to save some $$ maybe the A55 or A35?? Or last year’s S24 since it’ll be discounted?
@TechDaily Thank you! I will look into them. :)
I have verizon so I need to figure out what is compatible with them and has 256gb of storage
Is there now autofocus on the ultrawide cam for base and plus model?
Good question - let me ask my Samsung contact and get the answer 📸
No camera changes on base and plus models 😂😂😂
@@iamseanb17 exactly the same cameras as on the S23 🔥
It was $130 to upgrade to the S25+ via trading in my S24. Seems like a no brainer decision to me. Take my 💰!
Curious to see the battery life of the Plus version using just full HD compared to the Quad HD...if its just an extra hour or so im keeping it on Quad
Another thing, I can buy redmagic 10 pro or asus or any phone!!! Problem is size 6.8” is not an option! To damn big and the company keeps making bigger and bigger phones!
I have the S20+... And, i'm considering a upgrade to S25+... My question: Are the changes considerable? I love taking pictures haha
Excuse my question, but how did you see and record the devices? Were you invited to the event?
Yes! I was able to see them in San Jose for the announcement
@TechDaily Thats great! Thanks for the videos :)
I just pre-order a s25+, i traded my s22+ for witch i got a 380$ plus 500$ promotional credit.I aplied another cupon of 100$ and end up paying 440$(canadian $) for the new phone, also they have a great deal for the buds 3 pro,i got them for 179$
That’s the way to do it! Great smart-shopping 💸
Hey, I'm in Canada too and considering pre-ordering the S25+. May I ask where you got the $100 coupon?
I preordered S25+ 512gb, upgrading from my S23 128GB
Same here
I'll keep this phone for 3 years
This S25 lineup is good, everyone can buy what suits better. If you want a compact, S25 is the answer and if you want more battery life or more features, Samsung give you 2 distincts options with S25+ and S25 Ultra.
I like S23 6.2', it would be nice with my 13 Pro and Nothing Phone(1).
I pre-ordered s25 plus 512gb gold colour. I hope I won’t wait a lot for delivery.
Watching on my S23+🎉🎉
I have the s23 fe and great phone very happy you have the s23!!!! Theyre very great phones no need for upgrades!!!! My first galaxy also
I'm still using S22+ and am considering upgrading.
I have 8GB Ram with SD 8 Gen 2. The phone works without any hiccups with AI features working fine. So 12 GB is good to ho
Love compact phones, I'm good with regular S series with 6.2" screen
Preordered my s25+, I always take the + over ultra. I upgrade my s20+ now. I don't need those extra features of the ultra.
I didnt even know this was coming out. I just needed a phone cause the 22+ is dying and went and ordered one yesterday. I guess i went at the right time. Cant wait for the 7th.
Does the S25+ also support log shooting?
No - just the Ultra
@@TechDaily I see :( thank you so much for answering my question. (subscribed)!
Hello wade 😊 great review
Hello 👋 Thanks for watching!
The plus series are always great and I agree they are overlooked. Pre-ordered mine 😇
Niiiice! What color?
Do you know when the A series phones get one ui 7?
I do not. My best guess would be like March…?
@TechDaily oh alright
Is there any difference in width between 25 & 25+???
Yes I saw them at Best Buy yesterday. The difference is very very slight but enough to feel a difference. I am torn because I like the feel of the size of plus but the camera isn’t near that of the ultra. Also, with the price and incentives I’d be paying almost 100.00 difference. I ultimately would love better cameras in the base model.
Couldnt have agreed more...the plus phones in the S series r alwsys the most practical ones
I am using my a52 4g and also s9 fe tablet. I would like to buy s25 base model. Coud you guys help.me decide
I can preorder the s25 plus for 250$ with trading in my s22ultra. Should i do it?
There is no UWB in the S24
I actually think S25+ is the worst option. You pay a lot more and basically get enlarged S25 with 99% identical specs and performance. So either get regular S25 for pocketable, single hand use phone or go all out and get Ultra for proper spec bump.
yeah and when you slap a case on it (who wouldn't?), it gets too bulky
I have a fold 3, and I'm torn between upgrading to the fold 6 or the 25+... help! Lol
Logically, it is the best option. Psychologically, you're compromising, getting neither a small phone nor a large one. Not many people like to compromise when they're buying $1000+ smartphones...
So we should take it...because they're all the same size today?
