Restoring A RARE Yu-Gi-Oh Figure

- Ciao! I found this 20 year old anime figure in the trash and pitied him. He was dirty, broken, scratched and had paint stains everwhere. So I decided to bring him back to life and make him look even better than his original version. Hope you like this one :)

Today I´m focusing on repainting and revamping this action figure from the long running 2000s anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Masters by Mattel made in the year 2002.
Here is a quick backstory for this particular character:
This characters name is Seto Kaiba and is one of the main characters of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. He is the older brother of Mokuba and the modern-day reincarnation of Priest Seto, himself the original keeper of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
I draw, work on dolls, figures and other pvc collectibles for hours to repair, customize and transform them into a better version of themselves! It´s an incredible way of expressing your creativity and keep yourself busy. (.❛ ᴗ ❛.)

Hi, it´s Kiat (Like the car brand haha), I´m 75 and welcome to my channel! ٩(◕‿◕)۶ I´m doing something creative pretty much 24/7, be it drawing, painting, decorating, customizing dolls and figures or sculpting my own figures. I just can´t stop woking on something, I´d go insane ｡ﾟ(TヮT)ﾟ｡
The dolls/figures I´m working on are usually second hand / thrift store finds, since I wouldn´t dare working on something brand new (except if it´s straight up ugly since the beginning).
I have been watching anime, reading manga and playing video games since almost 20 years now, so these things are very close to my heart. That´s also where I get my inspiration from!
My tastes in anime/mangas/games are usually pretty obscure stemming from my country being not very intrested in subcultures in general. I had to keep my interests secret up until now, you would get strange stares even if you said you like Disneyland (︶︹︺)
So now I hope I can live out my love for this on here only a little bit!

As a Kaiba nerd, no, he didn't change his necklace at all during the series, but he uses it as a key card in season 4! Also, Mokuba has a necklace, but it's of Kaiba (when they were in the orphanage).

I think the card necklaces were a big thing in the first season. I think Mokuba and Kaiba refer to them many times, especially in the first season....

I loved watching! I know it's not Yug-i-oh, but this reminded me of Spider Riders. Have you ever watched that? If not, check out the opening here on youtube! All the comments have been taken away cause it's deemed for "kids" but the opening is a BANGER. It's like rap/rock??

I hate how they missed out on those long well manicured hands but as a kids toy i supposed even as a bootleg they knew theyd probably break right off XD
I never watched Yugioh but this video was very enjoyable to watch in the background while working on my own artwork! The humor kept me intrigued and I'm always fascinated by others' processes in creating. My only criticism is that the meme of Kaiba with big lips and long nails is in poor taste. I know a lot of people don't know but it plays off stereotypes of Latina and black girls. It was a big trend to edit characters with those features so I don't blame you for using one of them in your video. But it would be better to avoid using something similar in the future. Keep up the good work and I look forward to watching more of your videos ^^
when I saw that kaiba, I got reminded of the Yami figure that was VERY similar in a quality that I found on one big festival in the city. Couldn't actually find anything similar to it until to today
