Native ports are too expensive. Surely Cloud is the better method of delivering and playing video games on a phone. So all your phone has to do is display the gameplay and let servers do all the intensive hardware related work. Not to mention putting less heat and strain on the battery life.
This is great, finally the possibility of not needing to buy a separate device as a console seems likely in the future. An iPhone and iPad for on the go gaming, and a Mac for high fidelity graphics and playing on a monitor. Apple needs a beefy Apple TV console to play on the TV though

The iPhone becomes super hot while gaming, and cost you almost $2K. While a handheld console is at most $1K. If you are outside, what are you gonna do if your phone runs out of battery? I’ve played the Resident Evil 4 remake on the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the ROG Ally. The iPhone version is absolutely a downgrade graphically. It’s still impressive that it runs on the iPhone at all and it’s great to be able to play it on the go. But in comparison to what the Ally and Steam Deck are able to pull off in a handheld, the iPhone version feels like Bioshock on the Switch did. Being able to purchase a game once and play it on multiple devices is a great selling point, though!

My S24 Ultra 💩's on the iphone and I'm stuck with a plateaud industry that refuses to give me games worthy of my phone. So I'm stuck using illegal avenues. Using Nyushu I can play Witcher 3 at 30fps no problem. Using Dex it looks flawless on my TV.

In fact there's no foreseeable future where the Iphone ever beats Android hardware at this point. Apple focuses on color of the phone and the amount of cameras it has. Companies like Samsung and Asus are developing revolutionary industry changing hardware. Regardless of the capabilities of the current available software for said manufacturer ie: Apple. If those same games were available for Android the S24 and ROG would outperform it in every metric.
