Great question and suggestion. Definitely a topic for another video. Best way to think about it is a match. Matching communication / parental emotional language to child’s emotional needs. Often we have one dominant emotional language ( embedded from our parents caregiving) and this may not always be a perfect match for one child - this mis match may lead to some needs being unmet - not parents fault - just what it is. Recognising this for the child later in adulthood can lead them to those unmet needs to be met.
