That is incorrect. Using Abrahamic narratives to describe a phenomenon like this is quite myopic. Odu Ifa tells us that there was a time when primordial creatures cohabitated with humans on earth. So I wouldn't call her a fallen angel.

Just watching this documentary for the first time and i very well know this particular site but I've never been close to it.
In my undergraduate days in OOU i usually pass the road and i would see the path that leads to this grave site, there was a board with this inscription "Barikisu Sungbo" as at the time, it's beaten and worn path and it has this eerie feel.
I do not know why at the time but i remember always having this kind of unexplainable chill anytime i sight this path, i would tell myself i wasn't going to look again but a force i do not know will make me look and i would be scared. Funny thing is i don't even know anything about this place bcs im originally not from the area and no one has ever mentioned anything about it to my hearing or me discussing my observations with anyone.
Thinking of it now i feel there's truly something mystical about that grave site.

Our Ancient Ancestors were very tall with an average height of 7ft. Queen Sheba whose Original name is Sungbo went to correct a mistake the lineage of Solomon did. The Israelites of those time were mainly Adulawo too. I have read that “Sheba, Shaba, Chaba, Sechaba” was the name we called the entire Black People of the earth.

My conclusion - Bilkis Sungbo has got no link whatsoever to Queen Sheba nor King Solomon. She's a medieval mysterious woman leader or queen (if we can call her that), who has a verifiable link to the Eredo earthwork moat. She on her own had a lot of very interesting exploits and ruled a kingdom of devout followers.
There's no doubt that she was mysterious and a lot still needs to be dug out of her historicity...That technological excavation (using ground penetrating radar imaging) should be allowed to be conducted, so we can confirm the image the story teller claimed he saw in 2019.
If that can be allowed to happen, i will personally bring the cameras of ''History'' Channel or ''Discovery'' to this town and i guarantee this would become a UNESCO heritage site and would attract more tourists even more than the Pyramids in Egypt put together.

Thank you very much. Its high time serious research is done on it because the world has grown beyond "hear say".If she is truly a SATYR,it will broaden knowledge.Or perhaps she was buried with her horse.I also agree with you that Balikis may not be same as Queen Sheba.I am disappointed that that site is still in a backward shape up till now and no action has been taken by Higher Authorities to plunge into full research of who really she is.Rather, the whole story becomes mythical.

    • @HadizaOyediran-cm8yi
      @HadizaOyediran-cm8yi ปีที่แล้ว

@@Yeyetundetv2023this is why we should research on any history we hear, open mindedly, God is not God of confusion, there can be only one way to God and the rest ones will be false, human beings have the obligations to research on what his creator wants, what his purpose was for creating us, what exactly does he want from us, how does he expect us to view him, all these are compulsory if we believe there is hell and paradise. What does Islam stands for, what is the symbol of Islam? "ONE GOD" absolutely, this is one message all the propgets brought and this is why they were all Muslims. All of them worshiped God by putting their heads on the ground, Allah perfected their religion for them, named it Islam, call the worshipers Muslims, he then gave commandments and ways and manners to follow so as to worship in one way and language even according to a verse in the bible, it says in the end, human beings will worship God in one language and one way. Please in the whole world, which religion portrayed this attributes?

To be honest Yoruba history in west Africa went world wide and is even in Nigeria called giant of Africa most black god and goddess descended more in Nigeria yorubaland and it spread to every other west African countries and the tradition religion is found in every nation. I would say that’s the reason why nigeria got it bad in the world is a great home of history that could be trace to the Bible cause the European know where the Bible existence come from

Olootu, geographically, you don't need to cross the Mediterranean sea to get to Judea or Israel. One could get there by land through Egypt amongst other land routes.

I saw documentary on this about 20years ago, but contradictory stories on this. The Bilikis is just one of the mysterious being or let's say fallen angels. There was no Islam during Solomon's era and so there could not have been a way she had encounter with Solomon

Bilikisu is a Quranic name. There wasn't Islamic or christainity religion then. She definitely had a name she was called by then, not bilikisu as mentioned. No such thing as hijab, or muslim wears then, no islamic religion. I can see a part of her history being made up by the muslim residents in the town.
Moreover, he didn't really explain why she decided no woman would walk into her graveyard. It's even the fact that he claims Muslims and Christians go there to pray. So fetish...

I want to get a babalawo’s point of view of this place because in honesty it’s always either a Christian or Muslim explaining this place and there will be slight bias towards it.. because there’s no way our land has to do with those people there

Babalawo has no business in thier stories.
Queen sheba wasn't yoruba neither was she documented in any yoruba history. Let the Christians and Muslim cook whatever they know how to cook concerning their stories

@@anthonypaulina3047 No wonder that someone in this our generation can still understand messages from animals even snakes are the lady's friend . She is so plain but people always betray her. Some powerful people that want to kill her call her a great witch .
Hmm but she is barren as well but still young .
She has encountered a lot in life but very kind .
She once saw two sheep , one was beautiful and the other one was ugly . She then showed admiration and moved closer to the beautiful one and told him , ' Wow, you are so beautiful !' Then she turned to the ugly one and said ,' You are ugly .' To my amazement because I was there with her , the ugly one became violent and ran away. The following day , he ran away as he saw the woman while the beautiful one came directly to her as if one was greeting a loved one before heading for his destination.
This attitude continued till I left that area after few weeks .
I really love that woman because she started begging the ugly one because few people that were there told her that she should beg the sheep which she did but the sheep was so adamant.
