    This video is another proof for why we black people need to learn more about our history. So much knowledge in this video 🙌🙏

      To start with, I don't agree with addressing myself as black. I have never seen any skin that has the colour black except a burnt one.
      Many thanks for your comment and you have hit the nail on the head. We, Africans must really get our history right. The past is very important to live the present well and to project a better future. He who lost his past is like an individual in the jungle. You can't find a way out until you get where you are coming from.

    Yes everything said is fact. I remember when I was there and took a picture, I got back home and the picture disappeared from my phone and the person I sent it to.

    Something is still not clear. If the story of King Solomon exists about 970-931 BCE and Islam is 1,382 years old, around 622CE. How come the Queen Sheba story is Islamic?....I am just respectfully curious. More reason why I think the government is trying to avoid confusion.
    The Celestial church people are trying to get custody of that particular location as well as the Kwara, Ilorin, people.
    Kudos to this channel for bringing this awareness.

      Thanks a million for this brilliant observation and question.
      Let me take you from the question of why her story is Islamic. To the best of my knowledge, not only is her story Islamic. Even those before her. In the Islamic world, anyone who believes God exists and only God is worthy of worship even before the incoming of Prophet Muhammad is/was regarded as Muslim. There are prophets before Prophet Mohammend (SAW), and all of them are Muslims according to the story. This is because they all believe in only 1 God. So, that most speak to the reason why Balikis' story is Islamic.
      Hope this helps?

      Please curator don't include Islam into your explanation because notting like Islam during her era, the former curator man is old now he never for one day mentioned Islam about her, i know you're a Muslim but just to ascertain the truth about her and not to make people doubt Please don't include Islam she's not a Muslim woman

      I share your thoughts and don't equally think this is straight story in my opinion. I have been trying to get more information about Bilikis and would love to get a clearer and unbiased narration from a completely different sources. As soon as I do that, be rest assured that I will let you know on my channel here.
      Once again, thank you for this kind and objective observation.

    She died long time even before Christ was born. We need to get our stories right. I’m sure we have a story about this Queen but we want one and correct story.

      That's the info we heard and the much we confirmed. Although there are 1 or 2 contradictory narratives but none has a better proof yet.

    But are woman not allowed to enter? The Queen is woman na!

    • @bamtvafrika
      @bamtvafrika  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, that was as a result of what women did to her on her return. She was said to be too expectant of their warm reception, but unfortunately, she did not get any.

  • @abelinko1
    @abelinko1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Site of the tomb of a woman, unto which women are not allowed?☹️...Would have said it's antithetical to the idea of her being of a woman herself, but having listened to the curator, I 🤐.

    • @bamtvafrika
      @bamtvafrika  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well, according to the history. She expected too much from fellow women but was disappointed. Hence the reason for that.
      Thanks for your comment, though. I sincerely felt the same way u do when we were told women can't enter.

      You are very correct in ur expression. However, it must be noted that there are a lot of different stories about the Queen of Sheba and we are yet to substantiate any of them to be most superior to all others.
      As far as the Nigerian side of it is concerned, that is what you have heard from me. We will also look forward to get more details about the Queen of Sheba in future.
      I am very grateful for your kind comment.
